Arknights: Endfield’s launch is now in the rearview mirror, and it’s up to dev GRYPHLINE to retain interest in the release.
That continues with update v1.2 ‘At the Wake of Spring’, which is launching on 17th April for PS5. As with all gacha games like this, you’ll be able to enjoy all of the new content for free.
Here’s how the press release summarises all the new additions:
“Centred on the core chapter in the Wuling storyline, the update brings major story developments, a high-stakes boss encounter, a new playable Operator, expanded exploration, and meaningful additions to the game’s factory-building systems.”

As alluded to above, new character Zhuang Fangyi will play a pivotal role in the plot, and will be available as a new unlockable character. She brings “powerful Electric damage and a combat style that blends lightning-based attacks with swordplay”, so could prove a valuable addition to your team.
As alluded to above, Wuling’s map will expand with this update, along with a new outpost which will “with new resources and new production options”.
The summary concludes: “The update also includes new event content, permanent gameplay updates, a range of quality-of-life improvements across progression, combat, and industrial management, and additional player rewards.”
