Re: GTA-Like Action Game Samson Is Coming to PS5, But We're Much Less Excited Now

-wc-

โ€œThe launch has gone a bit so-so. The game suffered from way too many bugs and a lack of polish."

Passive voice, as though bugs and lack of polish are unfortunate things that 'happened to' the game for no reason.

"Weโ€™re correcting it almost daily now. The reception is starting to become more positive."

Isn't reception a 'first impressions' kind of thing? Can reception change over time? ๐Ÿค” I think your game gets the reception it gets, and then "perception" or just opinions might change over time.

"For us, it was just a must to get the game out. But any game released in this day and age is a success."

ANY game is a success just for being released, even if people are buying it and hating it? I really don't think so.

Re: Code Violet (PS5) - Gooner Shooter Can't Get It Up

"Spoilers for a couple of thirty-year-old movies there."

why do writers continue to employ this "feigned, fake spoiler" trope? is it supposed to be funny? i dont get it.

why not just make it a real spoiler alert? you could use the same exact sarcasm and everything, just before the segment in question rather than after it.

PSA: there were people born every day in the last 30 years that havent seen Jurassic park, or whatever other "common" media you want to think of. โœŒ๏ธ

Re: Konami 'Forgiven' for Dropping Metal Gear Solid Voice Lead in Fifth Game

-wc-

"Having voiced Snake for 12 years, it was Keifer Sutherland that Konami decided to cast as Venom Snake in both Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes and the main game The Phantom Pain."

who is the subject of this sentence? did Kiefer Sutherland voice snake for the prior 12 years? did Konami?

PS - I know it's an aging article but if NLife is gonna keep linking to it, people (like me) are gonna keep reading it โœŒ๏ธ

"Nintendo Fans Are Desperate to Know How Close Switch 2 Will Get to PS4's Power"

source?

"The question everyone's asking"

the writer desperately wishes to beg the question, but no one seems to be asking it but them. at least based on the evidence presented in this article.

Normally I'd just ignore this entire site but this one got crossposted and it's so dumb I had to comment (literally, the only time ive seen this question raised on Nintendolife is this crosspost. "desperate" lol.)

happy new year ๐Ÿ––
