Developer Warhorse Studios has announced another major sales milestone for its beloved medieval RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
The sequel has now exceeded 6 million copies sold:
The team shares its gratitude for reaching "6 million Henrys" in the above post on its socials.
"Thank you for being a part of this community, we’re excited to have you with us on the adventure!"

In a press release, the studio shares another thank you message:
"None of this would have been possible without the passion and support of the ever-growing Kingdom Come: Deliverance community. From day one, players have ridden alongside Henry on this journey, and Warhorse Studios looks forward to celebrating with fans throughout the summer at events, concerts, and community gatherings."
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 launched in February 2025 to widespread critical acclaim, and has been a sales success to boot.
The game casts you as Henry in 15th century Bohemia, a setting in which you're free to do more or less as you please, as long as you're prepared for some potentially harsh consequences. It's a vast, sweeping RPG with brilliant emergent gameplay and attention to detail.
It earned itself a Push Square 10/10 in our review, and ranked in our top 10 games of 2025.
Warhorse Studios is busy making another Kingdom Come game, as well as an RPG set in the world of The Lord of the Rings, which seems like a good fit to me.
Are you still playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2? Tell us in the comments section below.

I was very late to trying the first but enjoyed it when I did. I've not got this yet but it's on my definite buy list so I'll be adding to the number sometime soon.
Currently playing through this right now. Easily one of my favorite games in recent years
I've still never dived into this. I liked the original, but I couldn't get far as I struggled with awkward saving mechanics, and I sucked at the combat.
Is it easier to save, and is the combat a little simpler in this one?
I bought it (and the original)… still to play either. My backlog could choke a dozen donkeys…a dozen times or more (after various successful cpr attempts or uses of the Heimlich manoeuvre).
Wasn't for me but I bought it for £20 in a sale on the PS store. Glad it's done well though, might try it again if I ever feel like playing a game and using guides/walkthroughs which is mandatory for this game.
Thoroughly deserved. This game is a work of art. I am unable to move to another game since I entered into Henry's world the second time.
Just glad Crimson Desert is going to pass this.
@SBBuds not sure what you mean. I have at least 50 hours in this game and haven’t used a guide or walkthrough once.
I still need to dive into this one, I enjoyed the first game.
Finally got around to playing this after the first, nearing the end I'm already wishing for a KCD3.
Well deserved. One of the greatest games of all time. TGA knows they goofed real bad not giving this the RPG and Narrative awards.
One of the best RPGs ever made, congrats Warhorse I can't wait for your LOTR game!!
That's a lot apples eaten...
@JoeNobody what do you mean by this?
@BamBamBaklava89 I think the onboarding process needs some work. It throws a lot at you and you kinda just have to figure it out. A lot of people have trouble with it early game (many give up too soon), but eventually they catch on after the first 10 or so hours. For example: Friend of mine never reads guides/forums. He is a huge Skyrim fan. He gave up after 6ish hrs out of frustration. He got lost on the early mission where you get drunk and wander around carrying a passed out person. He just gave up because he didn't have the patience to learn the mechanics.
Best game this generation Imo.
@Hyena_socks
Saving your game is still the same. Combat is more fluid in this game imo. Training, read books helps a lot.
Also what captainsandman says. Game begins after 10-15 hours.
Another hint, get mudd as fast as possible.
Cool.good to see.but Henry is still hungry. Haha.word up son
I didn’t think a game would come close to the scale of BG3 this gen but this surpassed it and I think was possibly the better game too. It should at least have been best RPG over Clair Obscur!
@Hyena_socks I was more than happy to “save scum” with the quit to menu and reload when needed rather than relying on auto saves or saviour schnapps.
The combat takes some getting used to still but it relies on you levelling up Henry and getting some good gear as much as it relies on you getting the hang of it.
My GotY 2025
My GotGen of the PS5 era
Completely blew me away. I played it on the Pro and spent way over 100 hours in it.
The scale, the complexity, the rigid identiy earned all my respect.
Im super eager to see KGD 3 and Warhorses take on LotR game.
I was late to the party with KCD2, and it turned out to be my favorite game of the PS5 generation.
I love how this game became so many people's personal game of the generation, game of the year etc. Of course it will annoy some people, it won't be for every type of player, but to have such strong responses from quite a broad range of people that love it is amazing. Especially from something that first got crowd-funded as an ambitious passion-project by some talent formally of 2k Czech and Bohemia Interactive. Including devs that were no longer valued or laid off from 2k.
Proof again that sticking to your own methods and making the games you want to make is the best way to make games. You can't please everyone, but you can still make a difference in the industry and make a genuine impact on the people playing it if the talent and drive is there to do so.
JCBP.
@Hyena_socks Best option for saving is to literally save and quit. Then reload. It’s annoying but a workable hack. Combat is definitely better than the first. Game overall is incredible.
I really dislike the combat system, but made my way through the first game relying on stealth as much as possible. Definitely planning on playing the sequel when a complete version goes on sale.
@Blauwe_Chimay @captainsandman It's like Warhorse should have put it in big fat red capital letters at the beginning that: "HENRY IS NO INVISIBLE HERO! ESCAPE BANDITS IF YOU HAVEN'T TRAINED ENOUGH. YOU CAN QUIT SAVE LIKE FROMSOFT GAMES AND IT'S FAST"
"Acclaimed PS5 RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Surpasses Another Big Sales Milestone"
calling it an "acclaimed PS5 RPG" when it came out for multiple platforms and was never a console exclusive is misleading to your own readers, and journalistically dishonest.
to be fair, Nintendolife does the same thing constantly so I'm assuming this is a conscious decision that exists somewhere in the Hookshot style sheet.
ps - I played the first game on Steam and it's wonderful! clearly worthy of it's accolades 👍👍
"calling it an "acclaimed PS5 RPG" when it came out for multiple platforms and was never a console exclusive is misleading to your own readers, and journalistically dishonest"
Jeez, someone's tired.. chill out for goodness sake!
Maybe they were alluding to the fact that this isn't available on PS4?
@Leeg @Blauwe_Chimay @Thrillho thanks you three! Good to know you can sort of force a checkpoint with save & quit to menu, and the combat is a bit more forgiving.
I don't mind the grind, I grew up on JRPG's, so that all sounds good. I'll pick it up when it's on sale and I have the money
