You’ll be returning to Sicily for another slice of mobster action as Mafia: The Old Country is getting story DLC on 14th August.
Featuring two new chapters and additional Free Ride content, the plot will focus on a young Ennio Salieri, the antagonist of Mafia: Definitive Edition.
The blurb reads:
“Continue Enzo’s story across two new chapters, featuring fresh environments, weapons, vehicles, and Charms, and exploring a previously unseen period in his early days as a soldato. These chapters can be played as part of the main campaign or accessed directly once you’ve progressed far enough in the story.
In Free Ride, team up with Salieri to earn big by taking on a new set of exclusive jobs and extreme challenges. While exploring the Valle Dorata, discover new collectibles and hidden locations.”
Sounds good, doesn’t it? Mafia: The Old Country was a fine game, if a little predictably plotted in places. I’m sure I’ll check this out, time permitting.

Im sure stranger than heaven before release they will show Coolio lol
Beloved? By whom?
OMG hell yeah I loved this game and thought there was no way we were getting story dlc and even better it is slotted in to the story which is my preferred way for dlc to be done for games like this
@aj21009 uh plenty of people who played it liked it a lot and if there wasn’t they wouldn’t be doing story DLC two years later like what do you even mean
@dark_knightmare2 because beloved is an odd phrase to use for something that wasn't received great by the public. Don't get me wrong I'm a massive Mafia fan and have Platinumed all 4. But even I wouldn't say beloved. Beloved is something that's looked back on as something great by the masses.
I played it, I saw the reviews, it's not a "beloved" game. Is it alright? Yeah. They're not making dlc cause people "love" it enough people like it that the corporation feels it will make money.
This site has a headline about the reviews being disappointing. You can't have that headline and months later say the game is beloved.
@Andy22385 maybe not by critics but players really liked Old Country and think highly of it.
@dark_knightmare2 tbh, they don't. 70% player rating on Steam. Compared to Mafia Definitive edition at 87% and Mafia 2 at 90%.
