Alright Rebel Wolves, let's just calm down. I know The Blood of Dawnwalker's got a lot of hype behind it right now, but teasing the future of the franchise before the first game's even out is a bit mad.

Don't get me wrong, Dawnwalker looks great based on everything that's been shown — and its new trailer is no different — but it seems crazy to me that the developer's already got this grand plan for sequels that take place in the modern world.

You can't fault the ambition, I suppose. The teaser at the top of this article shows an ancient Coen — the Dawnwalker protagonist — surviving in a time much closer to our own.

The idea here is that Dawnwalker as a property will expand well beyond the upcoming RPG.

The press release reads: "The CGI teaser shows where the dark fantasy saga is heading. Offering a glimpse of where the overarching plot ultimately leads. As the developers revealed, the next installments of Dawnwalker franchise will span centuries, continents, and cultures across the globe."

Let's hope the first game delivers, eh? It's out in September, remember.
