Prepare for 2027's The Wolf Among Us 2 with a PS5 Remaster of the Original

I suppose there are two stories here really.

First and foremost, Telltale’s long-awaited The Wolf Among Us 2 is coming to the PS5 in 2027 at long, long last.

Inspired by the comic book series Fables, of course, here’s the blurb:

“Set after the events of the original game, The Wolf Among Us 2 returns players to the shadowy streets of Fabletown, where fairytale characters live hidden among humans in modern-day New York. As suspicion spreads across the city and powerful forces work against him, Bigby must uncover the truth and decide what kind of sheriff – and what kind of wolf – he is willing to become.”

Of course, if 2027’s too far away, worry not. A remastered version of the original The Wolf Among Us is also in the works, and that’ll release later this year.

The press release says this re-release will offer “enhanced visuals, refined character and environment presentation, an updated user interface, improved accessibility features, and technical enhancements including upgraded animation, audio, resolution, and framerate improvements”.

There’ll also be an hour of bonus footage, including behind-the-scenes videos and cast interviews.
