by Well, I never saw this one coming, and as a colossal Gundam fan, I don't even know what to make of it.
Bandai Namco's announced a brand new, original Gundam game called Gundam Rogue Orbit, and in truth, it barely resembles traditional Gundam media.
This appears to be a full-on melee action game where you pilot the titular mobile suit, slashing through all kinds of... robotic monsters? Again, it's not your old school Gundam.
Still, I'm very interested in seeing more. Rogue Orbit is targeting a 2027 release on PS5.

I'm so excited for this! You have no idea how much I've been waiting for them to make a Gundam game not set in UC, and one that plays like AC.
At first glance i thought this is a new Armored Core. But i noticed the head of the mecha looks like typical Gundam.
It looks cool but not sure if it worth buying or not.
Most mecha games, this one included, fail to sell the scale of a mecha. And they end up with a toy / diorama look.
It looks decent enough. Better then previous ones. But man. After WuWa 3.3 mech fight, I wish Bandai would collab with Kuro and allow them to make a Gundam game lol.
@LeJuiceCup of course there will be. They probably got a full year’s HG line designed around it already haha
