Demon Souls Remake looks better than any Ray traced game I’ve seen outside of Cyberpunk 2077 running on a NASA computer.

Yep. 6 year dev cycles don't make games fun. It just makes them more appealing to the movie-game crowd.

My perspective as someone that gamed exclusively on PC for 20-ish years before buying a PS5 in 2021:

Sony's positive word of mouth was at its pinnacle when Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone went to PC so their higher sales are understandable.

After that they became a known quantity and the "masterpiece" levels of greatness fans had proclaimed turned out to be quite overblown. Sales slowed.

Then came the Helldivers 2 rug pull and Sony proved it was just another major third-party AAA studio that couldn't be trusted.

Kind of in limbo right now. I wrapped up the Stellar Blade platinum a few days ago and would like to continue playing it. Never did a run on Hard. Gonna save that for after PSSR 2 hits.

The PC sites I frequent feel that nothing of value was lost. As a PlayStation owner I can't imagine buying them on PC anyways.

Fun game but was a bit baffled by the “Games for Change” win. It didn’t really try to touch on anything particularly meaningful besides southern United States folklore.

I was happy to buy Stellar Blade for an additional $20 off.

That 4K 120 hopium. AMD doesn’t make a chip that can do that.

Hell, the author of this article complained that Sony wouldn’t be getting Square Enix’s Paranormasight despite other platforms getting Final Fantasy VII Remake.

70 puts it into the 44th percentile on opencritic. Its not good, its not even average. And aside from being falsely marketed as a co-op game there’s not a lot of reason to talk about it.

Should be wrapping up the platinum sometime today. It’s been a real good time.
