Resident Evil Requiem PS5

Capcom swore it wouldn't put out a Resident Evil Requiem demo in the lead-up to its February 2026 launch, but now we are a few months removed from its debut, the publisher is open to the idea.

A demo containing "part of the game's early stages" is now available on the PS Store. Any save data from the demo will not transfer to the main game if you buy it afterwards, so simply treat the demo as a chance to work out if the title is for you or not.

Based on the wording, I assume this demo will allow you to play through the opening Wrenwood section as Grace, and then perhaps a bit of the Rhodes Hill care center too.

If you're convinced enough to buy the game, it's actually just gone on sale in the new PS Store Days of Play promotion. You can get a 30% discount on Resident Evil Requiem until 10th June 2026.
