@blacksapper There isn't any catching in the demo. When it is your turn to serve, you grab the ball with L2 and pull the controller in the direction you want the ball to travel at you in order to serve it into play. Keep at it...it will get it's hooks in you!
@Quintumply Darn, seems like a missed opportunity IMO. The premise had me dreaming of a Sega Bass /House of the Dead in an open world. It still sounds interesting but I want to fish! Thanks for the great reviews!
The blur and grit go away if you set your brightness to 40 or less! Try level 3 and also try to keep your flashlights hidden when not shooting or especially when heading down the tracks. I believe the higher brightness is lighting the fog/smoke/dust effects causing blur and covering the inky dark sections. This may need to be done with all dark games as DF's John Linneman suggests in his Res Vill VR breakdown to turn the brightness to it's lowest setting! Am I just getting use to the visuals or does this adjustment make the major difference I think I'm seeing?
@thedevilsjester were you able to allowing jumping? The dev recognized that some of those expecting the upgrade were still playing the psvr1 version. Be sure to click the 3 Dots on the home screen to choose correct version. It's glorious!
@thefourfoldroot1 I didn't buy it for PSVR1 although incredibly high rated for the same reason. I found survival games (survival horror an exception) boring but this effort with jump transversal now available is a total joy. I would recommend not missing this one, Im loving it!
@DarkestHour I must disagree. There is WAY more hand here than HCOTM. It's not as shiny but truly gorgeous in it's own ways. Combat, exploration, resource management, health management, etc. Honestly not the type of game I typically go for but this one makes the entire survival process fun and beautiful. Don't miss out on this one!
Shouldn't we forgo all Bloomburg reports at this point? They are an obviously lazy outfit where journalists would rather pull stories out of their rear-ends than investigate true stories.
@TheCollector316 your brain is going to burst! Even the OG was convincing enough to confuse my stomach while barrel rolling although I knew I was sitting in a chair in my living room! If PSVR2 is your first, this could need your most memorable launch of all time! I'm excited for new players in the community.
@Bunchesopuppies According to Liam at EuroGamer, 4.5 meters or 15 feet. If you haven't watched the YouTube of Liam's hands on time, just search EuroGamer PSVR2. I've watched it countless times!
@mohilrai Actually, #14 is the OG Guac! I would be bummed if they left both off as well. Maybe this needs to be a top 50, too many good games out there! I also want to see Transistor, Streets of Rage 4 and Tower Fall Ascension!
Stop!!! Feb 22 still seems too far away and your wonderful articles make it more painful. RE Village unplayed and waiting, No Man Sky ready, Swordsman ready, Mosses waiting, HZD VR stoked...I need this now! I bet I've watched Ian's hands-on 50+x!
@eagletrippin I couldn't have said it better myself. I have a backlog of 60FPS games which will be played before any 30FPS only game. I can't go back from silky smoothness.
Heck, this is the best reason for me to start playing PC games! A great concept that seems to be very smartly designed for fun and laughs. Sign me up for a PS version, or better yet, a PSVR2 version with slide motion detection!
I haven't even watched the video and agree. Part 1 had it's share of emotionally charged moments but Part 2 left me feeling sick (in a good way). The level design and gameplay were a big improvement too, IMO.
I couldn't bring myself to play through Iron Man because I felt the frame rate was too low. The demo to me was felt playing a video game in 3D but did not feel like VR. The control scheme they created was perfect and I'm excited we will get to play more on PSVR2... if the dang thing will ever get here!
@Pat84 This is huge for me! I currently power up my PSVR, place the micro fiber rag I use to wipe the lenses over the sensor and wait 15-20min for the lenses to become warm enough not to fog. Apparently I have a warm forehead.
@BritneyfR_ee I love Quest 2 too but being wireless means that they are running a beefed up cell phone processor with a hot battery attached to your head. I'm foaming at the mouth for PSVR2 because it will be powered by the PS5 processor, SSD and the console's plugged in power supply. PSVR1 is still the champ for head comfort, IMO. There is the loss of an awkward exterior camera orientation and added ventilation with 4k HDR! It will be seen but only Sony can be at fault if PSVR2 doesn't reinvent what VR is capable of. A dedicated two hand controller with analog finally?! I'll stop..I need this puppy now!
I am so happy to have Pac-Man Championship Edition again. Sorry if you disagree but Championship 2 changed the formula too much and ultimately failed because it did not feel like Pac-Man. In my opinion.
@Martsmall I think the real issue isn't Sony acting lack luster but that Microsoft has such deep pockets that they purposely decided to take a financial hit to push out the competition. MS forced Sony to take a financial hit and this IS the best they can afford to do for us, although an evolving entity. I HOPE Sony doesn't give in and allow too many Day 1 freebies because these are the highest quality products on any format and the developers deserve to make a living!.. in my opinion.
Am I the only one? I've finished many open world games over my 43 years of life but I cannot get into a Rockstar game. GTA 3 blew my mind at first but the story never motivated me. Red Dead's controls felt dead to me. I must be missing something.
I love to hear this, personally. I'd rather face a years worth of delays as long as I get a finished product. It's like being told you can't blow out your candles yet, I'm adding another layer of icing to your birthday cake. Are you paying attention, CD Projekt?
AMEN! And why was the "wishlist" feature removed on app? It was so easy to check my list at each sale and begin purchasing. I've been working my backlog ever since the "reiteration" because I don't have the patience to shop. I can honestly say this new store has cost them my money at least.
@antdickens I gotta disagree with you on this one, bro. Automation is horrible customer service. Isn't that what the Terminator movies are about? 😂 A robot never tells you compassionately "thank you for your business." One-on-one human relations are the foundation of a honest service. Your story genuinely broke my heart as I imagined feeling your excitement. A great story for your portfolio at a minimum, I guess.
@NEStalgia Jeff Bezos = the devil, in my opinion. The only reason Amazon took off in the US is because he found a loophole in tax law that allowed him to not charge sales tax from out of state purchases. He single handedly almost destroyed brick and mortar businesses (and all of the jobs lost) plus incorporates so much tech that he doesn't provide jobs. To make it clear, although convenient, he has done more damage to the world than good.
@DrJames I am with you on this logic. I always have a back log of games to enjoy and I don't see the need to buy brand new tech. It always becomes refined after launch. I want my stuff to last!

Re: Mini Review: Dredge (PS5) - Eerie Fishing Adventure Will Reel You In
How simple is the actual fishing mechanic? Super simple like a Sonic Frontier's or a little more involved like Sega Bass Fishing?
Re: Break the Fourth Wall and Infiltrate Atari in Pixel Ripped 1978 on PSVR2
