You make a fair point but honestly if it WAS a bad game, I don't think so many people would still be talking about it.

I love Days Gone, and have long defended it. But this is just obnoxious and this guy should be embarrassed about himself.

Being mean spirited and fussy about something like a character's cameo in Astro Bot is just sad and disappointing. Get over it, dude, and stop being condescending to people trying to have a conversation with you on your social media.

It's a 9. I can actually see people based on their own preferences reasonably rating this as low as a 7 or even as high as a 10 for other reasons, but quite honestly anything below a 7 to me just seems like there's more baggage there. It's got simply exceptional gameplay, and that's the most important factdor for me, easily. I don't even understand people who say the gameplay is clunky, it's nowhere near clunky and in fact most professional reviewers, even those who don't favor the game, single out the gameplay as the exceptional part of the game.

I personally loved Stranger of Paradise but I had to stick with it past the introductory hours. It evolved into a really nice riff on the Soulslike formula.

I like short VR games, just saying.

@NathanKang I mean, that is YOUR opinion. Mine is that honestly it was a worthy successor narratively, and certainly improved upon the first technically. That's saying something when so many sequels drop the ball or end up losing their way entirely.

Honestly, aside from everything else mentioned, gamers just don't have the disposable income they once did. I know I don't preorder anything anymore because I can't afford to part with cash early for anything.

@Jtheripper It's not worse than PS4, that's kind of an inverse placebo effect. It runs as it always did, we're just used to things running better now on PS5.

@Casco I don't know how anything about this game could ever feel like a chore, but I guess we all see things differently. This game was a very simple, relaxing experience for me. Loved it.

In my personal opinion, if there are cross-gen options for a game, and the game goes available on PS Plus, all versions should automatically be available. I'm not sure why it has to be this complicated. I'm sure there are reasons, but honestly, they should just make it happen. All they're doing is inviting scrutiny and discontent.

To be honest, that's exactly what I love about it.

@Luigia Well it is a walking sim... but it's so much more than that, too. It's like calling GTA a game where you steal cars, or Red Dead a game where you ride horses in the Old West.

I get that Gamepass is a great deal, hell, I subscribe to it, but it's REALLY annoying how people including authors at this site antagonize other companies just because they want to - gasp - charge for stuff like it's some sort of crime.

This was a badly written and conceived article in my opinion.

The only real bummer I see here is that I know a lot of people are going to be miffed that Farpoint is a VR only title. It's a great giveaway, but I think a lot of people don't realize you need the headset to play this.

The games are actually great fun. Cities is a really great city simulator, I like it better than SimCity. And Farming Simulator is pretty excellent if you're into those types of games.

@kyleforrester87 I don't think he's so much saying it's easy as in the work behind actually making the game is easy, obviously they're working hard, likely around the clock to keep the game fresh, but more that it's the easy path from a creativity and imagination perspective to make something like Fortnite.

I know I'm in the minority but it's actually my favorite Final Fantasy.

I'd love to experience it again with a new coat of paint.
