We’ve decided to wait and see the Cryo Archive content as it does sound like a pivotal part of the experience.

There’s no right or wrong answer here so we’re just being transparent about the decision we’ve taken.

The business model simply doesn't work if they're going to loss lead on hardware then everyone's going to buy their games on Steam.

@darylb24 Doesn't make sense to not bring the live service games to at least PC. Those titles generally require a big audience to survive.

I think the models are probably very similar in both versions, it's just the PS5 Pro one looks so much better because of the raytracing and lighting improvements, plus the better upscaling on top.

@Max_the_German Of course every dev wants their games to be played by as many people as possible, but at the end of the day, PS first-party's job is to sell PS consoles.

Kratos is such a difficult character to translate to live action. I’ll remain open minded but I’m not sure about this.

@Shinnok789 Kojima is an external partner and if they’re changing strategy now we might not see the outcome of that for a few years.

They’ll have the data to know how well these ports are doing comparative to the impact on their hardware sales/ecosystem.

I don’t think they’ll pull back entirely, but I can certainly see them slowing this strategy down.

I played this the other week at Taipei Game Show. It's pretty basic but it's not bad if you like musou games.

Yeah if you know what you're doing and accept you're not going to get every single character, you can pretty much enjoy everything these games have to offer for free.

And the production values are basically AAA these days.

I know back in the day you'd just essentially be unlocking PNG pictures, but in this case we're talking an extremely detailed open world with tons of activities to do.
