Actually, many of the ones I listed are new lows.

@ThomasHL I don't think so because if they're doing this smartly then any cars/tracks they add etc should be "ready" for PS6.

So if anything, a lot of this work should be prep for Gran Turismo 8 as well.

Of course they will need to refill the position for live service work, but I think it’s fine for him to step aside at this stage if that’s what he wants.

(I’m sure the scandal took a lot out of him to be honest.)

@Perturbator To be fair to Naughty Dog, they made their own decision on that. They didn't think they'd be able to keep making single player games AND support Factions.

I don't think we know enough about the situation to truly understand the options they had.

I do worry about Naughty Dog’s management. I wonder how much the departure of Evan Wells and Cristophe Balestra has hit them.

It also surprises me that people ignore the number of people who perhaps used to own both a PlayStation and Xbox, but now just have a PlayStation.

That can't be an insignificant number, and will result in a "decline" if people who used to buy both now only have one.

@Max_the_German Europe had MUCH better deals for PS5 on Black Friday. The US deals were good (in the current environment) but not outstanding like the EU ones.

@Uromastryx You don't think people are buying Xmas gifts on Black Friday?

@ThomasHL It doesn't. My personal opinion on this is that, after a record breaking launch, sales may start to slow a little bit outside Japan as people frontloaded their purchases.

It's also facing the same issue as all the other consoles: it's too expensive at a time when people can't really afford to purchase it.

We'll see how December goes. Ultimately it's too early to determine if this is going to be a trend or not.

Yeah, they spend an insane amount of money on these games. This is a terrible result for them.

@Hamst88 Whatever your opinion on this, it is going to follow Larian now. So yes, I do think it's affected their reputation — no matter how insignificantly.

To be fair, I understand the concern. I think there's a worry that once this stuff begins to intrude in creative fields, it's going to spread and spread.

I also find it a bit confusing the way he's saying it's not really useful but at the same time saying they need to use it.

Alas, we're at the very tip of the iceberg for all this stuff right now.

@SeaDaVie Yeah I doubt people are watching the video at all. Which is maybe on Bungie for presenting it this way, but you can clearly see it's a high quality game.

Like I say, I don't think it's for me, but you can't really argue with the polish of what they're showing here.
