@JimmyP - a remaster wouldn't have something like "fractured" mode.

@BansheeNorn @BansheeNorn - i'm through with gamestop now. i supported my store for years, but bad info on the first preorders cost me one, so i won't be buying there any more. however, i know that employees can't buy preorders like that. in fact, nobody is allowed more than one (of course, people using online bots is another story). so, that seems improbable to me. i agree the preorder system is totally busted, though - the bots being used online ruins the chance for many people to get a console. i think preorders should be done away with and consoles only sold on launch day with each person allowed to buy one. i think that would help with the people buying just to resell at a ridiculous price.

@Alex79uk - not really. the game has been out since april 2019. that's a year and a half.

if this is true, they better start making it easier to find one. preorders,so far, have ended minutes after starting. my local gamestop only had 20 preorders the first go around and just 7 the second time. to make the sales figures they're talking about, consoles need to be available.......step it up sony - it takes more than talk to sell product!

if they'd have the original NFS: hot pursuit 2 (ps2) game i'd have taken it right away. this, not so much.

@naruball - agreed. i'm surprised more people don't know about that site - it's great. i like how fast you get the codes too - just minutes after you buy......fantastic!

i have no interest in playing these games. some of them i wish i never played the first time. as for the next elder scrolls - if it's not on ps5, i won't play it - and if it comes out later on ps5, i'll buy it used. one console is enough for me and i'm getting a ps5 for their 1st party games.

@naruball - i always use CDkeys for my ps+ subs. i never pay more than 29.00 US dollars a month.

@NeuralDeclan - yea, i was thinking that too.

i'm not sure how important marketing will be if sony comes up really short on meeting demand for the console. the ps5 preorder situation has been the worst of sonys 5 consoles.j
edit - and this promotion doesn't mean much to me - when i want something like this, i get tostitos salsa verde!

@playstation1995 - i disagree. dark souls is easier - bonfires make it so.

i think GP is a good value for those on a budget; but, it's not for me. i don't have much interest in old xbox games and i'd just buy the new games i'd want. i'm sticking with sony - i love the exclusives.

this type of practice should be criminal.

@KirbyTheVampire - you mean like paying 500 dollars for a new console that doesn't have ONE exclusive coming to it for 1-2 years? yea, i won't pay top dollar for that.

@Nepp67 - i hope they don't change the setting for the game - i love it. and yea, i'm certainly not expecting the game any time soon. LOL

i'm interested. i'm planning on getting the game - it looks like good, crazy fun.

@kappasig390 MS has not shown ONE game running on a next-gen xbox - HOW is that doing a great job of communication?

i woudn't say the majority of people are "bored" - anytime preorder stock is made available, it goes in seconds.

it seems obvious they've had some issues. i certainly want it on ps5 but i've kind of taken the "i'll get excited when i hear something" stance for now.

@mariomaster96 - if they decide to make it for ps4/xbox1 after the next gen versions are done, i don't see how it would "hold back" the new versions.

@Daleaf - or how many know about them - LOL i didn't realize they were available until after about a year into this gen.

@Nepp67 - not for me. i'd love to see a continuation of the story with dina, ellie and abbey. i think the rumor is ND is working on a brand new game - possibly set in space........and that sounds very interesting!

@Pikki - some people aren't happy unless they're complaining and putting something down.
as far as the statues, they're nice but i've never been into that sort of thing - i'm getting that free interactive background for my ps4 though.

@Noob_Saibot - i disagree 100%. a sequel detailing how things worked out for abbey - does she find the fireflies and what happens? and where is ellie headed? what's going on with dina. these are much more interesting topics than going backward (for me, anyways).
btw - i loved LoU2 and so did everyone i know. ND just released another fantastic game as far as i'm concerned.

@get2sammyb - i'm not trying to offend, but i read your article. it sounds like you've already lost your mind. i don't have a problem with ANY company that wants to charge for an upgrade. and adding spiderman to MM for 20 dollars seems ok to me. i was going to preorder MM - now i'm getting the version with ps4 spiderman.

@GamingVeteran - you are SO right. a lot of gamers are SO cheap and seem to think everything should be free.

@wiiware - i LOVED the LoU2......amazing game. that being said, your idea that it's all a dream ? that would be a real mindf#ck if it did happen.- clever idea.

i don't think this shows sony is "out of touch". i think it shows how cheap, spoiled and entitled people seem to be about so many things in life (not just gaming) in todays world. you don't want to buy - don't buy. you don't think the ps5 is a good purhchase or that MS is more consumer friendly - buy an xbox. but all of this whining and crying from some gamers when they have to pay for something is ridiculous.

@Saitama117 - agreed. and i'm hearing bethesda will continue to publish their own games - so i imagine things will stay the same. i'm with you, though - if any bethesda games go exclusive, i just won't be buying them.

@Prime_Objective good luck with that theory - it's already been confirmed DS is ps5 only.

buying bethesda doesn't bother me. i buy PS for the exclusives. if ES6 comes to ps5, i'll play it - if it doesn't, i won't play it.

@get2sammyb - i've noticed it too. you've had around 4 that haven't been the most glowing articles, recently. and i'm not mad or anything - but it does seem odd. the article yesterday describing "enormous" file size - i wouldn't consider 66gb "enormous" by todays standards. and 115 for TWO games - MM plus upgraded spiderman? i have a single CoD game on my ps4 that takes up more than that. then the other day you're mad about prices of games going up 10 dollars - first raise in over 2 decades - i don't think that is unreasonable.......just a couple of examples.

@Zeke68 - noticed that too. that story about "enormous" game files and then i see demon souls is 66gb. that is NOT "enormous".
seems like everyone wants to grab their "torches and pitchforks" and complain about everything.

@Scottmguy - that's an interesting question. i'm not hung up on it. i already preordered miles morales on ps5. however, i have thought of what you're saying. and what about if someone waits and buys ps4 version of MM off ebay used for 20 dollars - can that be upgraded to ps5? or what if whoever bought the game new and upgraded it to ps5 and THEN sold it on ebay - does the person who bought it used get to upgrade it again? honestly, i'll bet there will be some restrictions - but we'll see.
