Re: Rumour: God of War Is Taking a 'Younger' Kratos Back to Greece

I would definitely prefer that new games move to a new setting, and I think Egypt would be great. Ancient Latin America (Aztec, Mayan, or Inca) would also be cool.

I’d be happy to ALSO get remasters or remakes of the original Greek trilogy (and PSP games). But I definitely wouldn’t want them instead of new games in a new setting.

Re: Amazon's Secret Level Has Been Renewed for a Second Season

My wife and I (mostly) loved “Love Death & Robots” but we’ve been really disappointed with Secret Level. Other than the “New World” & Crossfire episodes (oddly two games we couldn’t care less about), we thought the rest of them have been pretty terrible so far (only seen episodes 1-8). They’re so completely lacking any sort of narrative or context. They seem more like overly-long trailers.

Re: Like It or Not, This Is Why PS5 Pro Doesn't Have a Disc Drive

I’m in the $100 savings group. I’m glad I won’t be forced to pay for a drive I won’t ever use (when I eventually upgrade to the Pro). Haven’t bought game on disc since PS3.

And no, it’s not because I’m too lazy to switch a disc. It’s because I live in a small apartment in the city and prefer to not have a lot of physical things with no good place to store them.

The ones missing I really wanna see upgrades for are
1. Bloodborne - 60fps @ 4k
2. Red Dead 2 - 60fps
3. Black Myth Wukong - Actual 60fps without frame-gen

@CrashBandicoat thank you for being honest and speaking the truth about PC gaming. I was a PC gamer for many years before switching to consoles, and what you describe is exactly why I switched. Now I spend all of that time fiddling with drivers and settings (like you said, sometimes days), just getting to play games with zero hassle. Maybe a lot of people don’t mind the hassle, but I sure hated it (and that’s as someone who used to build servers as part of my job). It just felt like more work!
