Interaction between characters is good, but almost all missions are horrific. Tedious, uninteresting, and unrelenting lol.

I thought the combat was good but basic.

Overall I’d give it a rating of fair.

Gaming is under pressure at the moment. Hardware prices are going up (and up) while studios are struggling to exist.

Meanwhile AI is proving to be a divisive element, and everyone is struggling to define it’s acceptable level of usage.

Where is all this going? Is this just a blip or is a deeper wobble or crash on the horizon?

I think the original was a 7.5/10, it began really well but new areas brought diminishing returns: awful accents, unimpressive subplots, less to do.

In these days of horrible politics, Dragon Quest is the therapeutic balm.

A friend loaned me a copy for a few days. I found it to be underwhelming and scrappy, definitely a deep discount game.

I played about 5 hours of it and thought it was just ok. The facial animations really annoyed me, very janky, and the gameplay was underwhelming.

I’m a Star Wars fan though, so it’s probably worth a heavily discounted purchase.

I wouldn’t say it’s average, certainly below that in so many ways. I would define it as “scrappy.”

I’ve been playing Fallout 3, which is apparently the ginger of the bunch lol. Good game btw!

Lots of negativity, but I love the Fallout games with their deep atmosphere and snarky sense of humor!

I’m going to wait for some MORE patches. If only that was a good thing…!

Still going through Starfield, with FF16 sitting impatiently on the shelf... along with a DualSense controller that desperately needs a charge.

I’ve spent a long time playing Starfield which I like, but bad writing (and questionable game design choices) drag it down to a 75/100.

I mostly play on my XBox series X due to Gamepass (and cheaper multiplat prices) so this doesn’t grab me.

Yeah I was going to jump into it before learning that the events occurred during Persona 5... which I started and never got far into, lol.

Wow I read about this game a while ago then completely forgot about it. Was a huge Lem fan, will check it out sometime!

I’ll definitely check out the demo, I haven’t played any SO games yet!
