@thatguyEZ, I can see your point, but I would say that when I bought PS+ the games were good enough to tempt me in on the basis that I hoped to get at least a few more of the same quality. Also, as I play online games a lot, I have no choice, unlike on PS3. Anyway, I have to have it to play online, so I guess the games are just a bonus (or not) nowadays.
Thanks for the great review. I have to say that I'm still not tempted yet. Common sense says that, after the Destiny experience, it's worth waiting until Ubisoft sort a few things out and make the side mission stuff more appealing with updates (hopefully). I will give it a few months, since there is lots of good stuff to play at the moment. I am spending way too much time on Smite
@AlexStinton Thanks. The model is an interesting one; as players can play for free in perpetuity? SMITE for example, I have been playing the beta, and it seems that you don't need anything like 70+ gods to have all the bases covered, I have 11 so far including the starter ones, and seem able to cope ok. I suppose the idea is that players get bored with the same dozen gods and either stop playing or buy the pack. I wonder how this will work out for Hi-Rez?
The attraction of Destiny has long worn off on me; mainly due to them ripping off vanilla players with TTK, which is where I got out. The only thing I miss is the PVP, but SMITE just came out for PS4; and it's free, so that's that sorted. Don't think I would invest in Destiny 2, especially if they have the same pricing strategy; I just believe that Bungie are taking gaming in the wrong direction by doing this.
Played Fallout 4 through once, started a 2nd go but couldn't be bothered and left it half done. Don't think DLC is a priority at the moment with so many good games coming up.
Sorry to hear that there is no really good armour type gear to trawl for, as this was one of the attractions of Destiny for me, and I would like to have seen it here. That maybe a deal breaker for me, as I'm still on the fence about The Division. Hmm....
This sort of thing is a pain, and is the reason why I didn't buy day 1. There are usually problems with clowns on on-line games; look at the crazy cheating on Destiny's Trials of Osiris. Will definitely give The Division a look, but will wait a while I reckon.
Glitch is annoying, but for a ps+ freebie i'm really impressed.I'm dying a lot and not getting wound up, which can only be a good sign. Game is funny as well.
I have heard these tales of woe from people too. I can't bring myself to think about gaming in this way, as I know it would ruin it for me. I have always had a policy of rarely buying new releases. I don't have any platinum trophies (oh, the shame) despite having played a large number of games. I don't finish stuff I don't enjoy, and steer clear of 'Dark Souls' level of difficulty stuff. In summary I really enjoy gaming.
No launch day games for me at all any more. I always avoid the hype and wait for some user reviews, as well as pro ones. The game will still be there a few weeks after launch; no probs!
No I wouldn't like this idea. It seems to me that they would then have you over a barrel with regard to what they charged for these upgrades. I would guess that you would end up paying a lot more over, say, 5 years, than you would probably be happy with. The current system suits me fine.
Would love external HDD support, but not holding out too much hope really. Folders would be useful, but not sure why it's quite so popular in the poll? Overall I am happy with the latest firmware update.
Not sure about this game at all. Will definitely wait for a while for some user reviews before coughing up that sort of cash. Will be doing the same with The Division. I've ridden on the hype express too many times in the past
I also want a new ES game. Fallout 4 hasn't grabbed me in the way I had hoped it would, and ES Online is ok, but what I really want is a Skyrim style game but 2 x size and with much better combat mechanics. We can dream...
Will do what I always do and wait for player reviews before buying The Division. Been caught by hype too many times in the past. Had to stop playing Destiny before TTK as they were bleeding me dry with DLC prices; this looks like it might be similar.
I dropped Destiny just before TTK was released, due to my issues with pricing. I wouldn't go back to it now, but would consider playing a sequel. It would have to be a more substantial game from the get go than Destiny though, and with a more friendly pricing model for existing players; not like the TTK debacle. I think that Bungie really let themselves, and players, down with their pricing on Destiny DLC.

Re: Talking Point: What April PlayStation Plus Freebies Do You Want?
Darksiders II, or Lords of the Fallen. I just nabbed AC Black Flag for £12.50 from PS Store, so not that one, nooooooooo!

Re: Live: Watch Us Put Epic Games' PS4 MOBA Paragon Through Its Paces
Looks good. When does it release as a free game?
Re: Rumour: Sony's Building a Supercharged PS4 Console
Hope this doesn't happen. PS4 should stay current for new games until PS5 is released; I will certainly feel cheated if Sony do this.

Smite on PS4.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Counterfeit Chinese goods!

Re: The Division's PS4 Trophies Touch Down in Manhattan
+1 on Dad's Army. I don't really care too much about trophies, but will wait and see reviews first and what players think before committing.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 108
SMITE, Broforce and Killzone Shadowfall.

Re: No Man's Sky Has a Confirmed Release Date on PS4
I'm worried that it will turn out to be endless, randomly generated boredom. Hope not though.
Re: Sony Touts Great Games for Great Prices in New EU PSN Sale
Nice. Just grabbed Black Flag for £12.49. Never got around to playing it before so well pleased.

Re: There Are Some Secret Features in PS4 Firmware Update v3.50
In light of the fact that so many people want to change their user ID, I would love to see a list of what their current names are
Any addition to the update is good for me.

Serious old school, lol.
Re: PS4 Firmware Update 3.50 Adds Friend Notifications and Offline Status
All sounds good to me. Would still like external HDD support though. Also, I actually would like folders; but not urgently
