@MoleZandor LOL. It's funny isn't it? How about trying to improve the combat, making the side missions more meaningful, creating new main mission designs, or setting up more elaborate assassination missions like they used to try and do? Nah! More NPCs, more pixels + co-op. That'll do the trick!
I liked Ghosts campaign just fine, but for once couldn't get into the multiplayer, or that aliens nonsense. I'm gonna pick up Advanced Warfare tomorrow. Fingers crossed the multiplayer is great.
@Johnnycide I agree. It was a really good game. All the KillZones are good, but KillZone: Shadowfall is Guerilla's best game IMO, and they deserve the credit they get. Especially as they got it out for launch. Same with Knack. Both really good games. The turd in the salad is Drive Club.
I wouldn't say the model is heavily flawed as it seems to be working out for them. I've never bought a season pass, but if I did, I would have to really love that game because 9 times out of 10 the extra content is just more of the same.
How could they let this happen? This is embarrassing for everyone. I remember a couple of devs from Evolution being interviewed at E3 2013 being asked if the game would be ready for launch. They just smiled and said their projects always come together in the last stretch of development. They released the game almost a year later, and I can't buy it because it's broken. Bad developers? Bad working culture? Bad corporate culture? Sony seems to be riddled with incompetent people. Just look at the EU PlayStation blog for further proof. What's worse is that all these incompetent Sony employees seem to be based in England!
Yeah this one's good if you enjoy driving around an open world half as interesting as GTA's. But don't expect the driving to be any good. Or the shooting.
Ubisoft seem intent on me not buying this game. This is one of the lamest excuses I've ever heard. Why would you stunt your own creativity like that just to avoid a little controversy? The answer is you wouldn't, unless higher ups told you to. Absolutely pathetic from Microsoft and Ubisoft. Very bad PR.
Far Cry 4. But I hope Assassins will be great. I'm skeptical though because the gameplay is getting boring and I don't think co-op is going to fix that. Conceptually though, I still am very interested in Ass Cree. Also the Crew, but probably going to get DriveClub, so The Crew and Projects cars can wait. Not really interested in the rest, unless they really did change COD, and in a good way.
I'm playing Fez on the Vita. Man they get the presentation right in that game. I'm not usually interested in games that look like they could be run on a 16 bit console, like we had a shortage of good 16 bit games... But when the little dude is collecting what he needs to collect, or opening up a chest or whatever, boy does the game pop.
@Davros79 then it sucks. I have all the systems, but I'm only getting Fez, which is hopefully cross-buy with Vita. That's the only game the holds value to me.
@Shellybird27 I'll help you understand if you like. Some boys and girls don't have much disposable income. But they have Plus and internet connections. They also got Saints Row, Tomb Raider, Assassin's Creed, Burnout, Infamous and many other AAA games just for being a member of Plus. Now they're getting indie games, sports titles and flops like Dead Space 3 and Crysis 3. You must be able to deduce something from that.
Wouldn't want to play this on Vita anyway. There's some people out there that seem to think Bioshock is a big franchise. It really isn't, if Sony really wanted a Bioshock game for their handheld I'm sure they could make it happen, but why would they? The franchise is pretty much dead.
I was thinking to preorder this game, but it wasn't listed in the shop and I couldn't find a release date online. I figured that they were having more problems with the port or something because I read somewhere that it was giving them all kinds of headaches.
@kingandaval I know. I've had a great time with that. Except when one guy disconnected when I was at like 99%. That peeved me a fair bit though that kind of stuff happens in all online games.
@adf86 It has the same problem as GTA games. On the one hand you're tasked with doing something very important and emotionally compelling, while on the other, you're being handed a myriad of more trivial distractions that you're being encouraged to engage with, side missions etc. The world doesn't really provide the cohesive gaming experience you might want, but I think the main missions by themselves offer a strong story-line.
@adf86 The story isn't weak. The biggest problem with Watch Dogs is over familiarity. But the more you play the better it gets, because of the story and because of the sheer amount, quality and variety in the content.
@Tsuzura Yes you can. Sony has to pay attention to the backlash from Plus. It seems like people were expecting more. They also need to speed up with the firmware updates. The console still doesn't really resemble what they pitched. They also need Naughty Dog on that stage again with whatever they're working on (not TLOU remaster).
Though I think Sony is right, for this particular game I would have preferred a 3rd party publisher to step in and let it be multi-platform as Fuse was. But I guess EA wasn't interested after Fuse turned out the way it did.
Insomniac obviously didn't approve of the management of Ratchet and Resistance, but they also have to look at themselves. It's not like either of those franchises were pulling up trees on PS3 and Sony has to make the most of their investments.
This is definitely big news. I thought the hype and marketing for Titanfall was excellent, but in the end it wasn't enough to topple the PS4. If that didn't put the Xbone ahead of PS4 in the sales chart then nothing can. Unless Microsoft can get Minecraft 2 or GTA 6 as exclusives lol that's really all there could be bigger than Titanfall.

Re: Could Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas HD Be on the Way?
All the GTAs are brilliant for their time, but I don't want to go back and play any of them again. Not even GTA 5 on PS4.
Re: The First of November's Free PS4 PlayStation Plus Games Won't Appeal to Everyone
Obviously Knack is better than any game that's been on PS4 Plus, but whatever.

Re: Ubisoft: Why Would We Ever Hold Assassin's Creed Unity Back?
@FullbringIchigo Just because people talk about this stuff on the internet doesn't mean they don't have fun playing the games. Different things.
Re: Ubisoft: Why Would We Ever Hold Assassin's Creed Unity Back?
Because you're co-promoting with Microsoft, and this is how Microsoft does business. It's pretty obvious Ubisoft so quit playing dumb.
Re: Review: Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition (PlayStation 4)
@LDXD Yes you could.
Re: Review: Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition (PlayStation 4)
@Gamer83 Except it's not at all better than infamous. It's a very average open world game with a few minor good ideas.

It's the GTA killer.

No fears from me. I hope we can suspend play in standby mode soon. That's the only thing I've felt let down about with the PS4 so far.

@get2sammyb Nope. Still crazy talk.

@JaxonH There's a lot more to do that's for sure. Though the highs of Second Son might be higher WD is the deeper experience.

@JaxonH Not sure you were paying attention last gen. PS3 and 360 were being called next-gen for years after release.

Re: Rumour: PS4's Free PlayStation Plus Game May Be PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate in June
Cheap thrills for PS4 again. Dragon's Crown on Vita has me covered though. Overall, Plus saves me money so I'm not complaining.
Re: June PlayStation Plus Freebies to Be Revealed a 'Little Later' This Week
@SimonAdebisi Catherine has already been on Plus.
Re: PS4 Exclusive The Order: 1886 Dazzles in Two Minute Trailer

Re: Here's More Proof That The Walking Dead Is Coming to PS4
@XFsWorld It's terrible on Vita. I can't believe others can play it like that. I know I couldn't.

Great game. One of my favorites.
Re: Your Return to Borderlands 2 on PS Vita Will Be a Little Lonelier
I'm pretty sure the port is being handled by Iron Galaxy not Gearbox.
Re: March NPD: PS4 Overcomes Titanfall to Top Hardware Charts Again
This is definitely big news. I thought the hype and marketing for Titanfall was excellent, but in the end it wasn't enough to topple the PS4. FPS is the most popular genre of game, EA were publishing, it was made by the creators of COD and they were giving it away for free with the Xbone.
