What I wrote does not convey that I am a "trophy nut", nor does it imply that trophies are more important than gameplay. I did not champion anyone's side.

I sent what I had thought to be a unifying message, that we gamers should not continue to accept unfinished products, whatever the omission or fault.

Your aggression towards calm discussion, and your intolerance of strangers, are stark reminders of why I contribute so rarely to this community. I will return to lurking in the shadows. Lesson learned.

There should be no debate about which takes precedence. No game should be released broken, bugged OR with unattainable trophies.
If I worked below standards and expectations, I would not have a job.

@Muttt The warbonds (battlepasses) contain modified weapons, but they are certainly not required to play and enjoy the game. This is not play/grind to win.
Each warbond, including the large free one, have credits which go part way to purchasing another warbond.
I play for a couple of hours every 1-2 days and I am 3/4 of the way to purchasing the next warbond, having spent my credits on the last one.
Remember, the warbonds are permanent, so you never have to worry about FOMO.

@RIGGOR_MORTIS Pedantic semantics. Free/at no extra cost. Those that pay for PS+ know that they are paying. Your point is valid, but referring to the games as 'free' does little to detract from what has become an increasingly lackluster subscription service, as you rightly say.

@TraCuz- I'm on Light - Shiva. The story itself is good in ARR, but the delivery/pace could be better. A LOT of back and forth for trivial tasks. I shall persevere!

@TraCuz- I'm a FFXIV sprout! Started a week ago, levelling as a White Mage. The base story is 95% filler and fetch quests, but I know the good stuff is to come...

@Grindagger I'd argue it's the time taken to download the update that is more infuriating than its size. PS4 has notoriously slow download speeds for many, despite having superfast fibre speeds as I do.

Gaming time is limited for some people with commitments and therefore frustrating when you have a massive patch downloading over the next 2 hours.

The black and white filter is cool, but the HDR potential is massive. The colour palettes at times are simply stunning. Japanese audio is a must though.
