Well, You Can Forget Watching NFL on Your PS3 This Year

If you prefer your balls of the egg-shaped variety, then you may be gutted to learn that NFL Sunday Ticket will not be making a return to the PlayStation 3 this year. Speaking with IGN, a Sony representative confirmed that the football streaming service will be sitting on the sidelines this season. It seems that this may be a casualty of Microsoft’s partnership with the NFL.

The Sunday Ticket was not a cheap option – costing just less than $300 last year – but it gave consumers an easy means to stream games not being broadcast in their area. Expect the Xbox maker to announce a similar service for its consoles shortly – it did spend a reported $400 million on the aforementioned venture, after all.

I live in the Uk so we never got it anyway lol I dont mind a bit of NFL myself (go 9ers!) but there was gonna be no other outcome with the NFL aligning itself with the XB1. Still, I can always watch the NFL on Sky Sports

OMG My PS3 is so useless because it can't stream NFL just like my cable box next to it.(sarcasm)

Nnnnnnnoooo football......psh, im a futbal and basketball fan, but i watch on my PC not my game console. I could really care less, i want game streaming, not football streaming.

I would love to watch football on my ps3, but the price tag was just way too much.

I'm a NFL junkie but I never watch it on my PS3 so doesn't effect me. I just want a Madden that doesn't suck on PS3...

I LOVE football, but the PS3 is for games. I didn't even know it got NFL Sunday Ticket, and I still don't care. TV is what the Xbox One is for, apparently.
