And I'll be that one guy who keeps buying these "remasters" and giving these publishers a reason to keep pushing them out because I sat out last gen...sorry guys...(actually I wait for the price to drop on them like I have done with the TR reboot and to a certain extent TLOU remastered)

I'll say this for both Sony and Nintendo, give rights to some of your older IPs that you don't have the time or money to support to some of these up and coming indie outfits and let them try their hand with it.

I'm playing "wait for the Witcher Wild Hunt to release" in between sessions of Transistor and some Dragon Age. Also, plenty of studying for final exams next week.

@Splat If a trilogy is released for PS4 I'll check it out. I just looked at some gameplay and can agree that the combat looks much better than DA's.

@Splat That's sounds better for sure. At least on paper anyways. I'll have to go check out some YouTube videos of some gameplay from the other games.

P.S. The battle system in DA is the main reason I'm really looking forward to The Witcher, can't wait for some action based combat in a huge open world rpg.

@Eldritch Since I don't use a wheel, super realistic handling isn't a big concern for me. I just want something that is manageable with a controller, and from what I've been hearing the handling model in Project Cars is pretty customizable to your needs so I'm sure you'll be able to find something you like. Check out the Project Cars thread in the forums for some valuable info from @Scollurio about the game, he knows much more than me.

I've never played a ME game, but if the combat is anything like DA:I is, then I'm out. As wonderful as I think the characters/writing and world are, the combat just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Either make it full action or full tactical please.

@Eldritch Both are very similar, but Project Cars can't quite match up with the amount of content Gran Turismo has obviously. I can't speak for the handling model personally but the sounds in Project Cars are excellent. Hearing that Gran Turismo might be getting better sounds makes me just wanna wait and see, but I'm also one of those people who only need one sim racing game per gen.

It would be a pretty simple inexpensive port I would imagine so they would be silly not to release on both platforms.

Persona and Tales are the main reason I own a PS4 so this is great news for me if its true! I was willing to patiently wait a couple more years before a tales game was made for PS4, so even if it's not true I know it'll inevitable happen.

Is that the Stray Sheep bar from Catherine I spy? Not exactly the same but it has the same vibe.

@sonicmeerkat a crowdfunded game that is roughly 6 hours long for $25? That's pretty steep if you ask me.

I've never played a just cause game but I think I would enjoy the craziness I've seen in some gameplay videos from the 2nd game so I may pick this up.

Looks like a good game to play after rage-quitting Bloodborne.

I'm starved for a racing game on the PS4. I really tried to get into DriveClub but just didn't like the handling model and never could get used to it, so I'm really looking forward to this game where I've heard you can tweak how the car controls quite a bit.

Thanks for the new avatar! But back on topic, Shovel Knight and Velocity 2x put many AAA titles to shame. Tired of the "no AAA games" argument though. Have people been hiding under a rock?

If we get external HDD support give me an adapter for the proprietary slot for the ps camera in the back to change it to usb so that I can hide the harddrive behind the ps4 instead of having to use up one of the front slots...that's just tacky

It's inevitable we'll see this and I'm confident it'll be announced at E3. I'd love to be able to play the first two games again and experience 3 for the first time. If they get the multiplayer components up and running at launch then this could be a big seller for people who just jumped on the PS platform with the PS4.

If we get a Tales game and Persona 5 this year on PS4 it will be the best year ever for me!

@jayclayx the rough start doesn't deter me at all but I was a little concerned about content...seems they keep adding cars and tracks every time I turn around though so I don't see that being a problem anymore

@JesWood13 the snow is finally melting in my area after being here for a little over a month...hopefully it doesn't stay as long for you.

I'll be plugging along on DA: Inquisition some more in my spare time...I have to work a double shift this weekend though so I won't have time for much else.

I really want to get this game, but I'm thinking that Project CARS is gonna be my go to racing game on the PS4 when it comes out. I watched a gameplay video of it and the sounds are hands down the best I've ever heard in a racing game.

The color depends on what angle you are viewing the picture from. If I look straight on then it's white but if I tilt my phone it's blue.

I enjoyed the first episode way more than I should have. I've actually played through it 5 times so far but I still haven't bought the season pass yet. I just accepted the somewhat awkward voice work since it is a low budget game.

I tried to play this game on my iPhone but couldn't stand not having physical controls. I can't wait to be able to actually play it on the PS4.

Best news I've heard all day! I enjoyed what I played of Samurai Warriors and Hyrule Warriors and even though I'm not very familiar with the Dragon Quest series I can see myself enjoying this quite a bit. I really like the art style of it.

@sub12 Isn't Sony funding SFV though? From what I can tell MS isn't really helping to fund TR or at least not at the same level.

I really hope it comes to PS4, I loved the reboot. It was a little action heavy here and there, but the tombs and survival aspects were really good imo. From what the the devs are saying this next one is supposed to be more focused on the tombs and I'd be all for that. Cut some of the QTE's out and it will be perfect.

I'll be playing Dragon Age Inquisistion along with short doses of Resogun.

I picked up Samurai Warriors 4 for PS4 after reading some excellent reviews on the game. It's my first Warriors game and so far I'm really enjoying it, still learning the ins and outs. The graphics are absolutely gorgeous.

Short games of Resogun in between studying for an anatomy and physiology test on Monday. I gotta learn all the bones and muscles in the body so not much time for games other than that.

@get2sammyb I agree the mechanics in the first game are a little janky when compared to the two other games. I would definitely buy this collection though.

@FullbringIchigo not everyone is experiencing this problem from what I can gather. That could make it hard to test for since it would require a fixed set of conditions. But yeah it shouldn't have slipped through testing.

I'm trying this as soon as I get home. I had to hard reset to get my ps4 to turn it on for some Resogun before class this morning. Hopefully this fixes it since I always keep mine in "rest" mode.

@Pittoo I really like the design of the YouTube app and wouldn't mind seeing more of it.

YouTube, themes, and the ability to pause downloads. Sony gave me everything I wanted with this update and I'm very happy with it. Now go update the PSN servers and I will have no reason to ever gripe about my ps4.

I'm in and the store and everything is functioning properly. Just downloaded three of the themes (spiral, rectangle, and the paper one) and they are all pretty cool but the music is either love it or hate it I think. I have the YouTube app downloading as we speak.

@joseth418 oh wow! So it wasn't just me then! I bought the new slim PS3 last year bundled with TLOU and after a couple of weeks it stopped reading discs. I wound up trading it in to gamestop along with the game and getting a ps4.

@joseth418 Just curious...what was awful about TLOU on ur PS3?
