Witcher 3 Unicorn

Geralt's a bit of a ladies' man, we've known that for a while now, but senior game designer at CD Projekt Red, Damien Monnier, has perhaps given us a tad more insight into how the game will handle romance via a post on its official forums. "I don't know about prostitutes, I'm sort of a one girl kind a guy, but for sure choosing somebody over somebody else could close off options – like in real life," he stated.

So, it sounds like our grizzled protagonist will only be able to pursue one serious relationship at a time in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but chances are that you'll be able to pay visits to some, er, less reputable company, should the urge arise. That said, just how many romance options the role-playing game will offer is currently unknown.

The franchise has always been known for its somewhat mature approach to sex, and with the open world RPG supposedly sporting up to 16 hours worth of motion captured eroticism, it looks as though there's going to be plenty of raunchy happenings during Geralt's gritty adventure. Not one to play on the family's living room television then, eh?
