I still prefer a console. Especially as a father with 3 children, the convenience of a Playstation or an Xbox is great. I think a PC is too much trouble. Costs a lot more money than a console. I'd rather spend that money on games or a nice holiday with my wife and daughters. I also want to be able to keep an eye on my children at all times. And when I'm behind a PC, it's more difficult than behind a Playstation. No hassle with upgrades, video cards, error messages. Just buy the game, download it and play it with a beer at my side when i,m alone in the evening. I love that convenience. And that's why I'm pretty sure consoles will never go away, and Sony knows that. A few years ago, PC was on the brink of death. So it's not that great anymore. And with a big 4K TV of €4000 and a PS5 I conjure up very beautiful things. And the best part is that that TV is a one-time investment that I can use for a long time

I really hope this has something to do with the patents for the "new emulators" maybe a bunch of premium titles coming out in 1 or 2 months at once. Personally I don't care about premium I have everything for €60 for a year.

Dont find gamepass bad, its pretty nice. But ps plus is only here for 2 months and the games that Sony adds are very good.
And this month plus essential line up are bangers. I'm not a big fan of RTS, shooters or racing. That's why I don't have an Xbox. Used to be a 360 for Fable. And that's the only Xbox series I like. Playstation has a lot more to offer in terms of games for me.

They can never make everyone happy. And not everything will be your personal taste. But you can't say that Sony doesn't give you a choice to play. But for people who only have essentials, isn't this a great month?

I'm not a fanboy, but some people just whine. You pay 60 euros per year and receive 100 euros in games this month alone. And with extra or premium even more. When Xbox gives out duplicate games that are already on gamepass you never hear anyone complain but when Sony do it oh oh!

I find it really weird with some people sometimes. that auto renewal is always turned off by default, I really have to turn it on myself to make use of it. Is that perhaps because of the legislation in Europe? Or is it different in my case in the Netherlands?

I think Sony communicates in steps. They've also only announced 90 out of 400 games. And by no means all 360 retro games. So they probably still have some surprises up their sleeve.
