Re: Sony Blocks Subscription Stacking As Pre-Paid PS Plus Cards Stop Working on PS5, PS4

TommyNL

@IonMagi what's wrong with that then? because people can't benefit for 10 years? If you want to use something, you just pay for it, that's how it works in the adult world. and then you don't have to moan about Sony. Sony is a company that wants and has to make money. can you also stack 10 years with the rent of your house? or your energy bill? or your telephone subscriptions? would be nice but don't think it is economically good.

What is wrong with that? That's logical right? what's the use otherwise. the current generation is just whining about everything. and everything has to be as cheap as possible. this is not customer unfriendly. this is called doing business. Sony has to earn some money from the new service. so if half the world is going to hit for 10 years, it makes sense that they would stop this. And then there are people here who find that unfriendly? what a disgusting generation.

Re: PS Plus Extra, Premium Release Dates Shared By Sony

@DonJorginho
Europe is the biggest Playstation market there is with most Playstations in the wild. I think they begin small and end with the biggest continent. Something with server overload? The same goes for Japan, also a big market. has nothing to do with first or last as some babies here think. this is more of a technical thing.

Re: Reaction: PS Plus, PS Now's Makeover a Necessary and Positive Step for Sony

TommyNL

@WallyWest
There's nothing wrong with it. Sony doesn't need Day one releases. These games cost 100 milion to make. Microsoft doens't invest that kinna money in games. And then there's that "glitch" for gamepass I bett that from those 25 million users more than 50% used that glitch. And that makes gamepass verder atractive to buy. Case for now its almost a steal for that money.And There's youre gamepass succes.

Re: The Quarry Is a $70 PS5 Title from Supermassive Games

TommyNL

@arra1213 Glad im not the only one Who reads it like that. Since gp arrived everyone cries about game prices. You should see my ticket when i fill up my car with gasoline. I could but 2,5 games for 1 fill. Thats way more painfull than buying a Playstation game. I think a lot of visitors of this site including the staff weren,t born in the 80,'s. (S)nes games and n64 games were always that expensive. Switch games are also €60. And you never hear anyone complain. Weird.

Re: The Quarry Is a $70 PS5 Title from Supermassive Games

TommyNL

@Robocod There not Take2 owned, Take2 is the publisher.Supermassive games is a stand alone studio. That said. No problem to pay €70 for a game. I earn more than enough. But i always wait for games (except Sony games) to go in sale. But then again my salary is fine and my wife earns the same. But if you live alone it is a bit harder i quess. Dont know the average salary in the uk tough. But i remember Until Dawn was €59 in 2015. So does everyone game on this site gets a price tag in the title now?

Re: Microsoft Bigwig 'Trusts' PlayStation Not to Damage Gaming Industry, Cautions Against Tech Giants

@get2sammyb
Sony is still the biggest T-Rex in Gaming out there i case you didn't noticed. With over a 100 million userbase that is getting stonger every Day. Gamepass on the other hand ony has 25 million users. And that's not gonna change in a long run. You guys really need to stop bashing Sony like that. You cant compare Sony with Microsoft. The core business Sony is in isnt suitable to be able to keep so much money in hand. Margin on electronics is simply much lower than on Licenses that half the world has to use
But Sony is far from a little boy. But everyone has their own thing. And it's really not that Microsoft has infinite pockets of money lying around. And certainly not for Xbox. Because I don't think xbox makes a profit to this day unlike playstation.

Re: Reaction: Activision Blizzard Buyout Is Devastating for PS5, PS4

TommyNL

@IonMagi no they cant

U.S. companies planning joint ventures with Japan usually find that at least one of these options is unavailable: they cannot buy a Japanese company. Still, U.S. companies can enter a wide range of potential joint venture agreements

And even if a japanese company is bought is HAS to be on SALE. so Sony must sell Playstation. Right..... Dream on

Re: Reaction: Activision Blizzard Buyout Is Devastating for PS5, PS4

TommyNL

@viktorcode @IonMagi
Apple cant buy Sony!! Japanse companies cant be bought by other companies but Japanse. And why is everybody saying Sony has't any money? I never looked on Sony,s bankaccount so i don't know what they have.
And Microsoft cant buy all those big companies they don't have enough money fot that. They don't have money trees and the monopoly would become to big. They hanvent bought Activision yet it first has to belooked in to by different countries. Please stop making those dumb comments as if Sony is dying cause they don't they are stil the number one gaming company in the world befor Tencent and Microsoft.

Re: Microsoft Buys Call of Duty Publisher Activision Blizzard

TommyNL

@NEStalgia
Dude youre talking like ms have infitine money trees. Are you for real? And buying Sony as a whole? They don't have THAT kind of money. And i say it again, there's a law that Japanse comanies can't be bought. So that's a no go. It long terms gamepass wil be waaaymore expensive per month. And Microsoft is lauging in there fists cause every idioot wil keep paying. Prices go up quality goes down. And they don't care cause they, ll get youre money anyway. This is a very very bad thing for gaming as a whole.

Re: Microsoft Buys Call of Duty Publisher Activision Blizzard

TommyNL

@get2sammyb
Its not the cash Sony has enough cash and a lot of comanies besides playstation elecrtonics an music and movies. I think with the money they earnt from the New Spidey movie alone they could buy a big one but you don't want that. I really hope there are comanies Who wil stop this nonens. It becomes too big a monopoly and that can never be good for the gaming industry. I hope there is a watchdog that will stop this takeover. Not that I play call of duty but still.

Re: Xbox Boss Reacts to PS Plus, PS Now Rumours, Says It's the 'Right Answer'

TommyNL

@Juanalf Bankrupt? What nonsense. You can also just wait a while and not pay 70. Games have always been more expensive and that's normal, right? There are people working on these games that have families. And they have to make, sell en earn to survive in the world. It's called money!. Not everything in the world is free. Welcome to the great people world. Then you save money to buy a game.

Re: Xbox Boss Reacts to PS Plus, PS Now Rumours, Says It's the 'Right Answer'

TommyNL

@Enigk It's not a disappointment because Sony has already confirmed that they're not going to do that. But I don't know what year most of this site comes from but playstation has 27 years of experience. And if Sony creates a service with ps 1,2,3,4 games then you already have a library of games that is 10 times bigger than the whole game pass.

@fR_eeBritney
I received an email from Sony asking if I wanted to buy a ps5. Then last Monday between 9 and 11 I had the opportunity to buy one directly in the direct store. And on Wednesday I had him in the house. I do live in the Netherlands. But as a tip I say keep an eye on your e-mail.
