@redd214 Yes. I think this had been announced at launch of PS4. I had written it off; along with Capcom’s “Deep Down.” Look that up. I’m all but sure it’s vaporware.

This might not be a bad product. I like to turn down the volume on survival horror games & listen to the ambient sounds. This might work well in amplifying this & adding to ambiance.

@roe I was under the impression we cannot play games off the external. Isn't this the case. I imagine we can't hot swap the drives. Plus just not a good practice for maintaining the integrity of any digital file. FYI, I have a Wii U & they are always checking the license of your digital content. My Wii U could be off & I've seen the led kick on for the drive. Also, I can hear it spinning. After a year of having an illegal copy (it had been bought off eBay) of Smash Bros Nintendo banned me from on-line play. I had to delete it from my account. I image Sony will be the same. Always accessing your drive, when plugged in.

@DeWiz That option died when the Vita died. I'm a Sony fan as much as anyone else. But Sony killed the Vita with it's asinine proprietary memory cards.

@RedMageLanakyn Supposedly Switch has a few extra USB'S. So we might get external drives.

@rjejr That's why the devic & Vita failed. Expensive & proprietary memory. Try EBay. Still, memory is high priced.

@SuperSilverback Yes. If you played the beta you'd know that the armor stats & defense actually made a difference. Also, if you've played the souls games; the armor in Nioh has poise. It's similar to Dark Souls 1. I never preorder games, but this game really impressed me. I'm buying.

The Beta was amazing. For anyone familiar with the Souls series, it plays very similar. The difficulty level was perfect, not too hard, but challenging. I will say that the mechanics for combat are easy to learn.

@Wazeddie22 Maybe you need to buy a Nintendo Switch, so you can play games on the go.😉

@FullbringIchigo I call bull. I couldn't even start any of my digital games. It's out that the PlayStation was hacked 2days ago.

@Longaway Any idea on how many PS4's Sony allows on an account. The PS3 allowed up to 4, and I believe up to four different user's tied to that account. As someone whom has a large digital library I can tell you that they did not allow two users to play the same game, simultaneously, on the same account.
Anyway, with the internal drive size pretty much being limited to 2tb (I know latest firmware has allowed up to 4tb, stable) I was thinking about getting a second PS4. That is if Sony doesn't allow for a proper external hard drive experience.

@N4LIFE Storage is abysmal on the PS4. Really, Sony is behind everyone else. I'm heavily invested in digital and have almost filled up my 2tb drive. Xbox is looking more attractive. Hell, my Wii U even supports an external.

@Mega-Gazz wonder if we have to create a new file or can start off any. The dlc may require certain check points; like Bloodborne.

@Tasuki Yes. I do boycott a company when they don't meet my expectations of fairness. My opinion; this is not inflation, but Sony slowly acustomizing us to pay more. I'm to PC.

@adf86 I plan to not pay it. But I also have more than one console & PC. If you can get a PC, I advise you to do the same. I'll play whatever games still allow on-line access, without PS+.
Sony is doing this due to the scale of people it has, even if people like me quit, they know they can still make money on those that remain.

@Tabi_zmttns Ughh... 6/10 does not sound encouraging. I preordered the game for the aesthetics, as well as any novelty in gameplay/mechanics. We'll see what our interpretation of it is. I'm exited.

@FullbringIchigo It's getting ridiculous. 2tb is the most stable set up & I've already got that half full. I don't even have many of the AAA; larger file size games. As it is, we should all have small internal SSD's & a large external for storage.

@get2sammyb External game storage & really only supporting 2tb of space= not good. I've filled up my 500gb long ago & have had to upgrade. I still don't own the major games (big file size), let alone music or movies; I'd like.

@Johnnycide Do we have cross-region play on this? Maybe turned off/on in game? I don't think the first DS had it. I was an early adopter of the first DS & remember fighting nothing but Jap players. They are boring. No variety in builds. It was all Havel-moms or Giantdads with lightning claymore a.

@BigDaddyT0101 Consoles aren't competing with PC's. Anymore so than mobile can be considered competitive to all these markets. Sony is just doing R&D. Microsoft might be leaving the Console Market, but of course, that still leaves our two pillars Sony & Nintendo. They will always (the console market in general) have development of games specific to very limited hardware. Then either consokes or PC, will be asking for the port.

@BAMozzy Exactly. Thank you. If not full support for playing games off an external, how about just storage & transfer to the internal drive (not just backing them up; which is in place now). We could swap our mechanical drives for small/affordable SSD's & have a better experience.

@BAMozzy right man! Someone with some foresight. 2TB is ridiculous. Both Microsoft & Nintendo allow for a stable external support. I buy & play almost all titles (most on sale). We need more storage.

@JesWood13 Imagine all the games, movies, & music they'd sell. The Xbox & Wii U have external. Ridiculous really.

@gingerfrog support our shooters and buy the game. I'm not much of an officianado, but Darius is worth at least a 20% discount. Mind that I'm referencing $'s & not pounds. Still, at that % discount it's a win. I bought it at full, but I love the shooters. I'll also be buying the one above. I would just like to see some CAVE; as well as others, ports.

@SoulsBourne128 King's Field sounds good, but probably not as successful as the souls series. Why? No PvP. A good budget title King's Field would do well.

@KratosMD Some people work on the road. You can't go out every night & you do miss your games. I have a few friends & family that work on the road (trucking & various other jobs) they always take a console/handheld with them.

@Serenadeofsins Same here. I breezed through Bloodborne, no problem. The PvP hasn't been memorable to me. I actually miss the shield(parrying), tower shields, & turtling(I never had a problem with this).

@WanderingBullet Grand Knights would be a localization. Still, very welcome. Anyone remember Princess Crown? Was that a Vanilla game, or just same art style?

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi Get this game. We need more of these on PS4. Last gen they were almost exclusively on Xbox. Also, Japan is getting the "Touhou," series of games. We need them to get localized.

@Cowboysfan-22 It's mobile. Japan is mobile. I'd had a 360 & bought mostly Jap games. Still, Xbox never got the attention it deserved. Currently, I own a Wii U & PS4, still I can see the virtues of Xbox1. But not Japan. We are gaijin to 'em.

@get2sammyb I think it was a joke. I have both games on their respective systems. Unless they somehow change the game, I don't see it playing as well on PS4.

Ubisoft will probably port Just Dance, next. Damn, Ubisoft are whores.

It's not really annualized. Scholar of the First, just seems like a slight upgrade.
Anyway, I'm from the camp that doesn't care for DS2. I will put off buying this until reviews come in. Also, I'd like a Demo.
