For the record: when we suggested that Mortal Kombat X was silly in a controversial article last week, we meant it in the best possible way – everyone here at Push Square Towers adores the zaniness of NetherRealm Studios' premier punch up. Hence, we're excited to learn which new kombatants will be joining the chaos during the developer's Twitch stream next week.
Writing on Twitter, gaffer Ed Boon confirmed that the fresh fighters will be announced on 29th January, before following up with a second tease suggesting that we'll see at least two new challengers during its abovementioned broadcast. There have been 11 confirmed characters so far, with Kung Lao and Kitana the most recently revealed. Who do you want to join the fight? Rip our heads off in the comments section below.

i want all new characters. the new editions they have so far are really awesome, they should just keep it up.
Fresh faces please. And not just new characters with the same powers as other fighters. (Frost, Ashrah, etc.)

@Azikira I saw this at E3 and it was beautifully disgusting how detailed they got with the innards and guts. The close up of subzero's face sliding off his skull was great - I think that was the first time I witnessed a in game tongue slither in horrific detail.
I think they should put yourself in MKX, using the camera an load in as much powers that u wanna choose or buy or create from an any super hero that was ever created that's jus my dumb suggestion 😂😂
