We've been giggling through most of Mortal Kombat X's fatalities – much to the disgust of some of our members – but we'll admit that these Goro finishers are genuinely gross. The second one, which involves some ripped off limbs, isn't so bad – but it's the first clip that we can't stand. If you want a warning before you watch, it involves Sub-Zero's head getting embedded into his tummy.
This footage is all from the PlayStation 4 version of the game, and we reckon that it's really starting to look sharp. Of course, the title's due out in just over a week, so you'll be able to see it firsthand soon. Sadly, you'll need to pre-order if you want to play as ol' four-arms below, which is a bit of a headache; hopefully there'll be another way of unlocking him post-release.

For some reason i don't think it's gross, Scorpion's and Ermac's looks much worse, btw I am wondering how it will look on Rayden and Kung Lao with their hats.
@Melucine I can't stand it when things are embedded in things that they're not supposed to be. Makes me cringe!
That second Goro fatality is perfect. Not too over the top like some of these new ones.
@get2sammyb Indeed especially with our current technology. At least make the hats fall off or folding up ( not sure if thsi is the correct word ). If I am lucky I wll know tomorrow for sure!
@eLArkos to be honest form the moment I saw Goro for first time, so many years ago, I ( and not only me ofc ) thought that tearing all four limbs was the perfect fatality for him!
Some of the X-rays in this game look like fatalities themselves... :/
@eLarkos Aren't they supposed to be over the top?
@Melucine don't wonder. Have you seen fatalities being performed on them? The hats come off. I'm sure during the x-rays they'll come off as well.
A few things I've noticed and I know I'm just being nitpicky:
1. There's no blood on goros hand after pushing the head in the body.
2. When the head goes in there's no giant hole. You can still see the tiny opening for the esophagus. It's how it would look if sub zero was decapitated.
The bubbles coming out of the stomach are a nice touch.

I just wish they would stop wasting all the fatalities BEFORE the games release, seeing them for yourself for the first time has a huge nostalgic value for me.
I know I might gross some people out, but I'd totally be for an ultra realistic brutal fighting game a la Mortal Kombat 1 for its time. Make nice 3D models and for the textures get real actors wearing costumes, like back in the day. Also tone down the blood and the physics of the game, let it more be like an MMA or UFC game, with a tad of wrestling added and realistic injuries. Yeah and Fatalities. Realsitic ones... neckbreakers, maybe a stab to the heart, stuff like that. Okay, now I grossed myself out. I'll show myself the door... walking out, heads down
Well, an easier way to eat your food in the end! Not really gross though, kinda more humorous then anything else. Hopefully these fatalities won't be hard to master like Mortal Kombat 2 on the genesis. I remember trying to get all of them right using the 6-button controller on there in the time limit.
