Everything is better when you do it as a family – and killing fighters from other dimensions doesn't seem to be an exception. The latest Mortal Kombat X trailer shows combat footage from the newest trio of characters to be added to the roster. Making a return are tournament veterans Johnny Cage and Sonya Blade, along with their previously announced daughter, Cassie Cage.
Cassie loves hand-to-hand combat just as much as her parents do, but uses twin pistols to add some spice to the mix. Why punch someone in the face when you can shoot them from point blank range instead? The trailer also shows off some of the sequel's comedic elements, as tensions are high between the broken family.
Are you excited to try out these characters, or is there someone else that you want to take into the arena? Show us your best fatality in the comments section below.

OMG! That "Here's Johnny" fatality. OMG!
So who is the guy fighting Johnny at 0:26?
@Melucine Ed Boon's official statement is "He's in MKX".
Yea I saw that tweet, that's how I noticed him tbh, but still who do you think he is? Looks like a bit of Baraka to me, but can't see his teeth on this clip.
@get2sammyb Lol I know right
I did not know they were in the game. And I got a laugh from that fatality too.
Now, this worries me. The end with the release date only says PS4/X1? Does that imply the PS360 versions are delayed?
Amazing, really liking the Cassie cage character
"Here's Johnny!"

PUSH SQUARE STOP MAKING FUN OF MY CITIZEN KOMBAT GOD.
WTF is this? Why did they change Johnny so much from MK9? He was the perfect JC in MK9! Like who is this bozo? I get 20 years have passed, but he's changed too much, for the worse. The new voice actor is not suitable for him at all either!
It's been trailer overload with this game. I'm hyped for it, in fact it's third on my most-anticipated list now that Sony and Naughty Dog dropped the ball, but enough with the trailers.
@SouthTippBass I'm surprised he's so different than the previous game too, but I actually like how much more stupid he is now. Mainly because he's my go-to online character, so this should make the wins more satisfying.
I wasn't going to get this game right away, but the Johnny Cage stuff and the apparently improved story segments have won me over...
@sinalefa I hope so. That way you don't get to play it on launch day.
@THEundying27
It's ok. I am not paying $60 for this one, so I am not playing on launch day.
