My phone relies on a network provider company, not a server in a fairly big room situated somewhere in the middle of the country, that can be shutdown rendering the game obsolete.

@itsfoz you need to look at the bigger picture, once Sony shut down the servers, the game is redundant.
They want to take your money and leave you with a game that you can only keep on playing until they decide to pull the plug.

You may as well be renting the game from the developers, because a few years down the line you might fancy playing it again but you won't be able to. At least you've given them your £70 though for a coaster for your cup

Used to love playing this game..never went online with it anyway. As long as you can play it offline anyway, it doesn't really matter, does it?

The problem is going to be with games that heavily rely on online co op or support to play them, like gt sport and hitman.

Keen on the game, not so much on the price..

Your choice if you want to pay 20 over the price of any other game, it's your money and I'm not going to argue how you spend it, just putting my point across.

You're also correct about ratchet and clank, that game is also overpriced imo, even though I will probably still buy it, but I am going to try to shop around to see if I can get a better price elsewhere.

Might just be me that thinks that these games are priced too high, but there's an awful lot on here who think the same.

Returnal still looks a good game, I hope it's reflected in the price, that's all.

@hypnotoad it's a ridiculous price. And that's just the standard game, if you want the rest of the game then they'll sell it for another 10 and call it the gold edition.

No doubt people will pay this price and those that won't or can't afford it miss out.

It looks a really nice game on first impressions and the story line could be good, but the nagging thing IS THE PRICE, regardless of what anyone else says. Imo.
