@Taiiromo Yeah it's tough to find the time. Sometimes I know I'll like a game but also know that I won't have the time to truly savour it and give it the attention it deserves.

Sad to say but I've learned that it can be better to let a game slip by instead of trying to rush through it.

@Taiiromo Suikoden was just one of those series that managed to pass me by. I didn't have a PS1, so couldn't have played the earlier ones. As for the PS2 releases my limited spending power let them fall through the cracks.

These days my lack of free time means that I rarely play more than 4-6 big games in a year and have to be very selective. From the start Eiyuden Chronicles fell in to my 'interesting but lacking in that something special' category.

Despite being a huge jrpg fan this has never appealed to me for some reason. It may be down to the fact I have no nostalgia for Suikoden, or perhaps just because playing a game with such a large cast sounds tiresome.

I'm sure many people will enjoy it though so I'm glad it seems to be reviewing well considering the long wait many have had.

I'm in the 2nd wave of preorders. Can't wait, sounds like a great game. I've had to listen to my FIL going on about the game for months.

I tried the demo and it just isn't for me. The lack of input in battles and the time limit in battles put me off it.

It's a shame as Vanillaware is one of my favourite developer but this is two games in a row that have missed the mark for me, the other being GrimGrimoire.

The combat system and the story padding were the two things I didn't like about the first, and it doesn't seem like much has changed there. Kind of dulls my excitement for the game but I'll likely pick it up eventually, when the feeling takes me.

Definitely more Helldivers 2, and probably keep working towards the Plat for Granblue Fantasy Relink.

One aspect of design I like from the game is the many ways you can make yourself useful to the team. I'm not very experienced at online shooters so I've been using the supply backpack stratagem to help out as a sort of ammo mule for the team. Can make all the difference in longer fights.

Having great fun with this, despite my usual preference for single player games. Only real issue I've had is the inconsistent nature of random players. Would be good to find a regular group.

I'm in the last story chapter of Granblue Fantasy Relink, so I'm planning to get that done. Also hoping to jump into Helldivers 2 for the first time.

I'll be getting started with Granblue Fantasy Relink. I have next week off work and I'll be spending most of that playing it too.

Loving the design of that Tonberry King. Different, yet familiar.

Final Fantasy XIV. Just finished the first expansion, Heavensward. Still have about 16 days left on my timecard so I'll probably mess about with trying out a few different jobs.

@SonOfPSXDave I'd say that Dragon's Crown is the weakest of their titles that I've played. 13 Sentinels, Odin Sphere and Muramasa are all much better offerings.

Nice. Vanillaware is probably my favourite developer so I'm always happy to hear about their new projects.

This week I dug out my very old laptop to continue my progress through the Legend of Heroes series. Playing Trails in the Sky the 3rd.

Thankfully after this one I can play the rest on Switch/PS5.

Also planning to play something with the kids, maybe Mario Kart 8/Super Mario Party.

Trails in the Sky the Third will be next for me. I still have a long way to go.

Won't be playing it as I already know how much I want to play it, and prefer waiting for the full game.

I've recently delved back in to Final Fantasy XIV, started from scratch with a new character.

About 110 hours in and I've finished the base game, A Realm Reborn and am working my way towards the first expansion.

Tempted to go for the Plat on PS5, but some of the trophies seem to be not registering my actions properly, so that may not happen.

@stvevan there's nothing in energy drinks that you can't buy in tablet or powder form from any pharmacy or health food shop. Anything is bad in the wrong quantities. Issues arise when people frequently drink multiple cans a day.

Not a fan of this behaviour by monster though.

Never played it, but I recall some controversy about its high price. If an episodic game is released at near to full price, you really can't be surprised when people respond negatively.

I've bought it but I still need to play Sky 3rd and Trails from Zero first.

I'm about 45 hours in and 9 trophies away from the Plat. Loved every bit of it except the alohomora mini game, which just feels like a waste of time.

I have it installing right now. My wife, who is a massive Harry Potter fan, is very excited.

I was hoping to play Hades this weekend, but my copy for PS5 hasn't arrived yet. I'll be cracking on with Mass Effect 3 Definitive Edition.

My favourite developer. Can't wait to see more of this one.

I loved the original, but never managed to get passed the knife fight/lazer grid QTE section late in the game.

My hatred of that section has prevented me revisiting the game at all since.

@TheArt tbf this was probably a SEGA decision.

@ShogunRok I believe the physical release is limited to Japan/Asia with English language support, but I could be wrong.

I started Mass Effect 2 Legendary Edition yesterday, so that will be my main game this weekend.

Also planning to try the training mode in the Mario Strikers: Battle League trial.

I've had the week off work so I've been putting every spare hour into The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky.

I'm on the final chapter now and I'm planning to get as much done as I can before Monday.

Currently playing through Trails in the Sky FC on my old laptop. Will be working my way through the series at a steady pace so as to not get burnt out. Will get to this one eventually.

The action looks good, but if its a gacha game I'll give it a miss. The boob wobble looks ridiculous though.

Then I really need to get around to playing Wild Hunt.

Laid up with Covid so I'll be putting some time into Final Fantasy VII Remake. Trying to get as far as I can before I have to return to work.

Love this kind of game, but I struggle to find the time to properly enjoy them these days.

Unfortunately gone are the days where I was unemployed, single and still lived with my parents and could plunge 18 hours a day into Civilization Revolution on PS3.

Just got a PS5 yesterday, so I'll be finishing off Astro's Playroom with my kids. Then I'll be starting Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade later on.

Just got the Plat for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Now I'm playing Ever Oasis on 3DS.

This is one of the few instances where I actually agree with the use of a f2p model. I'm actually surprised PES/FIFA didn't do it years ago.

I spent about 42 hours going for the plat on ME1. Haven't started ME2 as yet.

I grabbed the platinum trophy for Mass Effect yesterday. Absolutely love these games.

Starting tomorrow I have a week off so I'll be trying to playthrough the first Mass Effect during that time.

Looks ok, in a mindless fun sort of way.

@Deadhunter exact same reason I stopped playing. Other players behaviour completely ruined the end of the base game for me.

How nice of them to release it on my birthday. I've never played ME1 so I'm looking forward to that.

Hopefully going to finish Final Fantasy XV main story tonight. Then I'll have just a few trophies left for the platinum. Also playing Ys Origin on the Switch.

Great game. I only played it because of PS Plus, but I'm glad I did. Absolutely fantastic.

I'll be playing Final Fantasy XV which I received yesterday. My wife got Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, which we're playing in co-op.
