Alrighty we got a kinda interesting week this week. First off I hope everyone had a excellent holiday. Next Persona 5 Tactica and Sea Of Stars yesterday was a interesting combo. A genuinely terrific game is what Persona 5 Tactica is so far I won’t lie there. Was genuinely shocked when I got into gameplay within like 20 minutes of starting. Snagged two new amiibos this weekend too Shiver and Frye from Splatoon. As for tonight well a good online buddy of mine (shoutout Champ.) has offered to help me with the final boss of Sonic Superstars so I’ll go for the same Sega Sunday as last week. Some Sonic and Like a Dragon Gaiden. As for the rest of the week the plan is it’s business as usual with the GOTY work. Pretty close to the end of Super Mario Wonder. Same with Spider-Man 2 as well. Alan Wake II is a little hard to judge where I’m at. But also the big news of the week is I feel Baldurs Gate 3 clicks now so I’m excited to jump back into that one too. Other games I’m probably close to the end of would be Pikmin 4 and The Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and maybe FFXVI? I wanna do The Teal Mask and the Indigo Disk before the end of the year. I finished off the Fell Xenologue for Fire Emblem Engage this week so now with all of Engage done I feel very strongly on Engage as a whole. Hoping the same can happen to Pokémon Scarlet. As for anime of the week y’all already know we basically listing the new Big 3 at this point. Jujutsu Kaisen, Spy X Family and Eminence in Shadow. Just the best as always. Tho special shout-out to Shangri La Frontier and 100 Girlfriends as well for being equally as awesome. Podcasts of the week are the usual ya know Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Minnmax, Remap Radio, RPGsites Tetracast. However until the whole Jirard the Completionist situation gets resolved I can’t I’m good faith endorse the Friends Per Second podcast and for now gotta say I’m gonna sub it in for and shoutout the Nextlander podcast. As always yall have a excellent rest of the weekend, a excellent week and Happy Gaming.
Alrighty well we got our last big week of games of the year I feel coming up so here we go. Of course I know we still got some games coming out this year like Dragon Quest Monsters 3 for Switch and Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising for PS5 but personally I feel like Switch has its last big games this week in Super Mario RPG a game I’m very very excited for and Persona 5 Tactica another game I’m hype about. And the PS5 had its last big games last week with COD MWIII and Like A Dragon Gaiden. Speaking on that last one that’s where we’ll start this week as that’s easily my game of the week it feels so good to be playing another game with Kiryu I mean Joryu. A good Yakuza beat ‘em up style game makes next years LAD8 and it’s RPGness just that little bit easier to stomach. Otherwise a perfectly ordinary time with some excellent games like Pikmin 4, Sea Of Stars and Star Ocean 2 as usual. Oh and of course some excellent Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with friends to see the rest of the Booster Course. That really was a excellent DLC a collection Nintendo did honestly worth the money. Also Nintendo please put Pauline in MK9 or 10 or whatever you’ll call it thanks. Like most people it’s time to knuckle down and work on GOTY games. I mean man after the Tekken 8 reveal tonight we got the Game Awards nominees tomorrow like that’ll make my game carving path really easy. I know it’s probably gonna mean blitzing and finding out truly how a game like Baldurs Gate 3 works. Might snag UMVC3 tho as it’s on sale for the price of a decent lunch. So yeah a week of Spider-Man 2 and Mario Wonder and Sonic Superstars and Pikmin 4 and Alan Wake 2 and Sea of Stars and maybe Tales of Arise awaits. And of course Super Mario RPG at the end of the week seriously you guys I’ve never played this game I can hardly wait. Gonna try to finish Arnold Schwarzeneggers new show on Netflix FUBAR this week so I can move on to the Onimusha anime and the Scott Pilgrim show too. Anime of the week of course gotta go to Eminence In Shadow, Inexperienced Love Story, Frieren, Spy X Family, and Shangri La Frontier. Those are the easy stand outs of the season so far. And podcasts this week gonna be bulky as I gotta give a shout-out to the ones getting me through work of course being Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Remap Radio, RPGsites Tetracast, Friends Per Second, Minnmax and of course Into The Aether. All absolutely excellent and amazing. As always everyone have a excellent weekend and Happy Gaming.
Not that this really has anything to do with the whole microtransactions thing and yeah it’s Mortal Kombat but I gotta say while the Halloween Fatality was kinda cool this Thanksgiving one is just downright disgusting. And not in a hahaha he beheaded that guy and blood squirted out sorta thing like Mortal Kombat is known for. But like disgusting as in somebody with like a dark web vomit fetish would enjoy but no one else.
Alrighty another week and another entry. I think the best way to sum up this week was: reality. Despite being on vacation it was stressful yet in all that some bright glimmers shine through. With that out the way I was able to beat TOTK and finish off my Resident Evil Marathon. Unfortunately Pikmin 4, Fire Emblem Engage and Sonic Superstars weren’t finished off so I got some work as we head into GOTY season. Also watched the final episode of the final season of the final part of attack on titan (part 3) with some friends last night and that was nice if not bittersweet. See you later, Eren indeed. On the topic of pickups I picked up a grand total of 4 things on my vacation this week. Like a Dragon Gaiden, Tales of Arise DLC Before the Dawn, Warioware MOVE IT, and Star Ocean The Second Story R. Suffice to say between LAD and Tales this week and the week after being Super Mario RPG and Persona 5 Tactica I’ve got something basically for every week in November. Of course after those last two it’s time to knuckle down and really beat some games to put together GOTY lists. Big thing this week I’m looking forward to is enjoying a nice long relaxing session of Star Ocean 2 tomorrow for the last day off of my vacation. Shoutout to Kris Wolfheart of the GigaBoots Podcast Network (aka big think dimension) for being this games strongest warrior and now it’s more widely available. Also I think I’ll announce this here that I think my next long term marathon after having done all the mainline Resident Evil games is I’ll do all the Star Oceans. I mean I now own them all. And with Star Ocean 2 you can now play the whole series in one place. That being PlayStation but that’s another thing hahaha. Either way this week I also think I’ll try knuckling down on games like Sea of Stars on the PS5 again. I really wanna try to beat most GOTY contenders for those sorts of podcasts at the end of the year so I can understand what’s being talked about. In terms of anime this week yall already know gotta shout out Spy X Family and JJK again. Again big special shout-out to the end of Attack On Titan. And Eminence in Shadow just keeps delivering. As for podcasts this week we kinda back to that full rotation homies of Remap Radio, Minnmax, Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension and Into the Aether. As always have a excellent weekend yall and Happy Gaming.
Happy 500 Push Square. Here’s to 500 more. Alrighty a interesting week this week for y’all. Not much to really speak of from the past week other than preparing to beat TOTK, getting the money for Like A Dragon Gaiden, the entire Bahamut section of FFXVI and beating Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways. That one is a excellent one by the way very big fan of the latter half of it and yeah I think Capcom’s next thing is gonna be a RE5 Remake. As for this week tho as the great Sojiro Sakura would say HOO BOY. On Vacation this week from and all I can say is we gonna try to beat some games this week friends. Gonna try to beat TOTK today actually and have the first of the GOTY contenders under my belt. Did some Splatoween already this weekend so I got my fill of that I’ll admit. But we’re talking more progress in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed. Wanna try to beat that by the end of the year. Fire Emblem Engage Fell Xenologue. Apparently it’s 6 chapters long and I’m 3 chapters in sooooooooooo yeah that’ll be good to wrap this week too. Hell I might even decide to just beat Sonic Superstars too since that’s fairly short too. And over on PS5 more Spider-Man 2 and FFXVI of course. But that’s not even mentioning the new games this week I’ll be delving into like Alan Wake II on Halloween for my special Halloween game and purchasing Like A Dragon Gaiden, hopefully picking up the Tales Of Arise DLC Beyond the Dawn and also hopefully snagging a copy of Warioware too. In terms of anime this week yall already know we gotta rep the two best shows this season Spy X Family and Eminence In Shadow. Tho special shout-out to probably my third favorite Ron Kaminohashis Forbidden Deductions. As for podcasts this week with vacation and all it’ll be kinda limited actually so I’ll limit it to my favorites. Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into the Aether and Remap Radio. Happy Halloween to everyone and have a excellent weekend and Happy Gaming.
Oh boi what a absolutely amazing down right WOWIE ZOWIE weekend it’s been and I’m just so happy. Saw the new Scorsese movie Killers Of The Flower Moon and honestly it was just excellent. Little slow to start but Martin really is a visionary. Of course like everyone else I’ve been playing loads of Super Mario Bros Wonder. I love it so much it’s utterly excellent and honestly might be my GOTY. I’m blown away each new level I do. Of course that’s not the only new game that came out that I’m checking out. I also dabbled in some Spider-Man 2 and honestly there are moments in it so far that if you ask me make Final Fantasy XVI blush. I think I’ll also take a break off of Mario Wonder today to do some Sonic Superstars I’m very excited for that one. Also I’ll probably wrap up the RE7 DLC later tonight too so I can move onto the Seperate Ways DLC for Resident Evil 4 Remake this week. Finally playing some new RE content for Halloween feels good. Of course I’ll be doing the usual rotation of games this week of Rain Code and FFXVI and TOTK and Fire Emblem and Sea Of Stars and stuff but of course throwing in some of our new additions there too. And of course that’s not even counting the fact that yeah I still have a new game this week in the absolutely legendary Alan Wake II. Granted I’ll probably delve into that next week as my yearly special Halloween game I start on Halloween but to say I am excited is a understatement. Extremely good time for gaming hahaha. As for the Fall Anime I’ve shook out some clear winners. Spy X Family, Shangri-La Frontier, 100 Girlfriends who really love you, Eminence In Shadow, Inexperienced Love Story and Frieren. All simply superb and excellent intros too. As for the podcasts this week we got the usual awesome killers like Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension and Into The Aether. But of course we got Remap Radio and Minnmax coming in hot again as just really excellent things to listen to while really getting into some of these excellent games coming out. Hope everyone is having a excellent weekend and Happy Gaming.
Interesting week this week. In terms of games y’all know this the big week. Sonic Superstars, Super Mario Wonder, and Spider-Man 2 of course. Some months don’t even get that good but these all come out in one shot. Pretty insane. As for this week tho another crazy week of being able to cycle out a different game each day. I’ll admit tho I think I’m gonna drop that idea for a couple weeks as there’s definitely some games I wanna knock out easy. Like I’m pretty sure I’ve been sitting on the end of the Sonic Frontiers update for a week now. Once I beat it I could reinstall something like Street Fighter 6. Man I really do genuinely love Street Fighter 6. As for what I’m thinking on playing I did some Detective Pikachu Returns and FFXVI and I might skip the switch later and just focus on beating this Frontiers update. Otherwise I dunno maybe more Rain Code? Got half early shifts and half late shifts this week with the weekend off so I think a gumbo of games is fitting. Ya know just a mixture of like Fire Emblem Engage: Fell Xenologue, Tears of The Kingdom, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Baldur’s Gate 3, maybe some Mortal Kombat 1, trying to beat RE7 and Disney Illusion Island too. Also definitely wanna get the Resident Evil 4 Remakes Seperate Ways DLC in this Halloween season I feel it just fits beautifully. As for anime this week we do have some fall recommendations this week. We got Frieren, Spy X Family, Shangri La Frontier and many many more but honestly their titles are like super long hahahahahaha. Podcasts this week are simple too. Remap Radio, Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into the Aether and Giant Bombcast. Have a good weekend everyone and as always Happy Gaming.
Well we got a interesting week for sure. Was able to beat Trails To Azure and try out A.K.I and the Sonic Frontiers update. All top of the line excellence all around. This weekend is kinda simple tho. Doing some more Rain Code to finish out the weekend that’s definitely on the list of games I wanna beat next but I wanna try to do something this week for both Switch and PS5. And that’s play a different game each day instead of going ham on one game to finish. That means after Rain Code and the Foamstars beta on PS5 tonight I wanna play one of these games each day this week. Over on switch: Zelda TOTK, Pikmin 4, Fire Emblem Engage Fell Xenologue, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed, Pokemon Scarlet The Teal Mask and Disney Illusion Island. And on PS5: Baldurs Gate 3, FFXVI, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, Mortal Kombat 1, Sea of Stars and Sonic Frontiers. Guess we’ll see in next weeks journal if I was able to do that. Also decided on the games the rest of the year. That’s Detective Pikachu, Sonic Superstars, Super Mario Wonder, Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2, Like A Dragon Gaiden and Super Mario RPG. Very excited for all of them we have a excellent holiday season of gaming ahead. As for anime we finished a lot this week like Sugar Apple Fairy Tale. While some fall anime have started outside of Spy X Family I can only give one small tease of the ones I’m excited for and that is…… Frieren. Yes that cute little elf girl has stolen my heart already. Very excited and interested. As for podcasts it’s the usual. Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Nextlander, Remap Radio and RPGsite’s Tetracast. Also special shout-out to Critical Roles Zelda TOTK One Shot I think I’ll be using that for my 7 hour cart shift at 9 am on Saturday hahaha. Have a awesome weekend everyone and Happy Gaming.
Alrighty semi interesting week this time. The games for this weekend kinda simple. Trying to wrap up Trails to Azure which I think I’m fairly close to beating. Again peak fall vibes with that and some football and a rainy day. And on the PS5 some Baldurs Gate 3 and Sea of Stars. Picked up MK1 and the 120ish dollars in Digital funds I wanted this week so I’ll be enjoying some Mortal Kombat as well as snagging The Teal Mask for Pokémon Scarlet, Nayuta Boundless Trails for switch, Seperate Ways for RE4 Remake and Phantom Liberty for Cyberpunk 2077. Very excited to delve back into all those games and more this week. Like Sonic Frontiers getting the free final update I gotta reinstall that game. Or Street Fighter 6 getting A.K.I this week. Overall I think the games getting tackled this week look like this. Switch: Trails To Azure, Pikmin 4, Zelda TOTK, Fire Emblem Fell Xenologue, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Future Redeemed, Pokemon Scarlet, and Trails of Cold Steel IV depending on when I finish Azure. And on PS5 we got: Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Sea of Stars, Final Fantasy XVI, Sonic Frontiers, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Baldurs Gate 3, Mortal Kombat 1, and Street Fighter 6. Over on the anime front I’ve already finished up the first Summer anime and it’s actually the first one I started too. Atelier Ryza was simply excellent. Amazing time with it really. Gonna try to finish up a lot of anime this weekend actually like Ayaka, Liar Liar and Yohane the Parhelion. Shoutout to BSDs latest episode for fixing last weeks trauma. Shoutout to JJK’s latest episode for reinstalling the trauma. Special shoutout this week to Emmy they’ll know who they are when they see this. Finished that live action One Piece too and that was incredible. Definitely looking forward to more of it. Podcasts this week simple as always: Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into the Aether, Remap Radio, Giant Bombcast and Nextlander. Have a awesome weekend everyone and Happy Gaming y’all.
Well this week yet again proves interesting. Being free of those morning shifts feels oh so very good. Plans this weekend are fairly simple. Play some trails to azure and stay cozy with some football on the tv. Peak Fall vibes and it ain’t even fall. And I definitely wanna go hard on Trails To Azure minus Monday where I wanna do some Future Redeemed I wanna try to beat Azure soon so I can get even closer to playing Trails Into Reverie. Over on the PS5 tonight is a debate between FFXVI and Baldurs Gate III. Im thinking of restarting my play through of BG3 with a Origin character like Shadowheart as I feel it’ll finally click if I do that and I won’t feel Elden Ring levels of choice paralysis. I know BG3 is special I just ain’t gotten to the core yet. Otherwise this week kinda special. Got Bomb Rush Cyberfunk last week and been enjoying it but this week I’ll be nabbing a copy of Mortal Kombat 1 my first real MK game tho I dabbled in 11 a little. Probably take some trades for it too so I can nab some eshop and psn money for The Teal Mask and Phantom Liberty DLCs for Pokémon and Cyberpunk respectively. Very very excited overall just very good vibes. Otherwise the rotation of games is simple as always. On switch we got Zelda TOTK, Pikmin 4, Trails To Azure, Fire Emblem Engage: Fell Xenologue, Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed, and on PS5 we got FFXVI, BG3, Sea of Stars, Tales of Arise, SF6, KOFXV, and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. Anime of the week of course is a big one this week as we have 4 finales this week meaning you won’t be hearing about these anymore: Atelier Ryza, Ayaka, Liar Liar and Yohane The Parhelion. All excellent shows and they made for great summer watching and I can’t wait to see how they end. Also big shoutout to Bungou Stray Dogs for giving me even more trauma then I already have y’all know what you done. And of course shoutout to my podcasts of the week: Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Giant Bombcast, Friends Per Second and Remap Radio. As always Happy Gaming to all and have a awesome weekend.
I said it was excellent because personally speaking I got a trio of excellent trailers I got rebirth tales of arise and separate ways so i am very very happy
Well this weeks a interesting one. Finally after a summer of nothing but early shifts and a general poor composition of balancing gaming and anime I’m finally free on Wednesday of the early shifts. The model store that my job is preparing for starts on Wednesday so when I clock out of work on Tuesday I’ll finally be free and back to gaming all night baby. So obviously it’ll be great to celebrate with Sea of Stars. But that’s not the weekend hahaha. For this weekend I’ll be playing some more Tears Of The Kingdom. It’s so cozy and soothing and relaxing and I’m really just loving it. And also I’ll shoot for some time in Baldurs Gate III. That game really is something special too like it really is on TOTKs scale because man you just feel how good and impressive and insane this game is. Otherwise throughout the week y’all know it’s gonna be the usual rotation of Zelda, Pikmin, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Rain Code. And Baldurs Gate 3, FFXVI, Sea Of Stars, One Piece Odyssey, and SF6. Yep that’s right I beat RE6 and now I’m free to celebrate with SF6 until A.K.I comes out for it later in the month. And do RE7 in October for Halloween. Special shout-out this week goes to the Live Action One Piece on Netflix it’s absolutely excellent and has made me a huge One Piece fan now. Over on the anime front y’all already know the usual. Atelier Ryza, My Tiny Senpai, Liar Liar, Zom 100, Ayaka and Yohane the Parhelion. Summer Anime almost over and man do we have one crazy Fall Anime lineup already. And for Podcasts we keeping it simple with Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Into the Aether, Giant Bombcast and Remap Radio. Have a great weekend to everyone and Happy Gaming as always.
After last weeks not so busy week it feels oddly refreshing to have a huge week to follow it up. Two big main games of the weekend are gonna be Zelda Tears of the Kingdom and Baldurs Gate III. Yep I got that early access PS5 version so I’m looking to dive into the years top rated game alongside the previous holder of that title. But that doesn’t mean other games ain’t getting love. On rotation this week is probably the most amount of titles I’ve ever done. We’ve got Zelda, Pikmin 4, Fire Emblem Engage: Fell Xenologue, Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed, Disney Illusion Island,, and of course Splatoon 3 and the 1 year Anniversary Splatfest. Y’all already know I’m going Team Shiver for it. Over on the PS5 a more modest rotation of Baldurs Gate III, Tchia, Sea of Stars, FFXVI, and hopefully finishing up RE6. Gonna try catching up on the anime again this week so we’re at least one week behind. Summer has definitely been a weaker season. The anime this weekend of course being Atelier Ryza, My Tiny Senpai, Ayaka and Liar Liar. Special music shoutout this week to the new Jujutsu Kaisen intro Specialz. It’s so good. Shibuya Incident Arc is here bois WE ROLL. And Podcasts of course Into the Aether, Castle Superbeast, Big Think Dimension, Remap Radio and Fire Escape. Hope everyone has a awesome weekend and Happy Gaming to all as always.
Well this is a bit of a quieter week this week. Beat SpongeBob The Cosmic Shake in order to free space for Armored Core only to skip Armored Core hahaha. Oh and beat Ghost Trick too. Absolutely excellent and deserves all the 10s it gets. Instead the biggest news of the week is my picking up of JOHNNY GUILTY GEAR. Nah he’s cool but jokes aside I picked up Baldurs Gate III instead of Armored Core and that’s the next game I’m planning to tackle. In terms of Switch games I’ve just been bouncing between Octopath 2 and Rain Code all week. Do wanna get back to TOTK and Pikmin at some point. Over on the PS other than SpongeBob and Baldurs Gate just some FFXVI, GGST, and TLOU1. Like I said quiet and random week. Anime of the week too kinda quiet. Ayaka, ZOM 100 and Liar Liar. Podcasts of course being Castle Superbeast, Into the Aether, Remap Radio, and Fire Escape. Also gonna work my way through most of Nerissa Ravencroft of Hololive EN Advent’s streams of Story of Seasons. Such a cozy and excellent game. Happy gaming to all and have a excellent weekend.
Well another week of excellent gaming gone by. Found my love for Octopath 2 again and absolutely excellent sessions of Pikmin 4 and Trails To Azure and FFXVI. This weekend tho the plans are pretty simple. Work has moved my early shifts back just a little which now makes it so night gaming is back on the menu baby. So I’m thinking it’s finally time to beat Ghost Trick and also get back to SpongeBob The Cosmic Shake. Definitely wanna start knocking out more of my backlog and streamline a lot of my GOTY Games like ditching Trails To Azure to focus on trying to beat Octopath 2 by the end of the year. Besides the fact that as long as a SpongeBob is still in the backlog it makes it harder to keep up with new games like a Armored Core or Alan Wake. Speaking of that’s the big hype of this week. Picking up Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon on 08/25 or Friday. Also working my way through RE6 which is absolutely mid but honestly extraordinarily enlightening having worked my way through the whole series before it. As for anime of the week same as usual, Atelier Ryza, My Tiny Senpai, Ayaka, Zom 100, Liar Liar and Bungo Stray Dogs. That last one I’m almost caught up on and y’all please watch it it’s absolutely the best show I’ve seen in years. Also check out The Diplomat on Netflix it’s pretty good. Podcasts of the week are Remap Radio, Castle Superbeast, RPGcast from RPGsite, Into the Aether and Fire Escape. Hope everyone has a excellent weekend and Happy Gaming.
@czDante92 Dante, Dante chill they’re not Vergil man they can’t take that SSS combo you’re doing on their ass man. Let’s go get some pizza and chill out bro.
Well I missed last weeks entry of this due to being on vacation but man what a vacation it was. Absolutely excellent and in terms of games I basically played almost all of Ghost Trick and played all of Shredders Revenge. Gotta admit Kate is right Ghost Trick is really good. And EVO last weekend? Just reminds me why I love fighting games so much. Excellent announcements and matches all around man. As for this weekend tho. Well starting with Friday I saw the new TMNT movie and played some Splatoon 3 for the new Splatfest. Team Money baby. Got a couple hours into that which is really all I ever wanna do for Splatfests. I imagine if Splatoon was the only game I owned I would play more but when I got other single player things I wanna do it just kinda slips away ya know? But my vacation wraps up Monday as in going back to work Tuesday and for once I have a genuine game plan like a football coach hahaha. For Saturday we got some Pikmin 4 and Final Fantasy XVI. Sunday is Tears of the Kingdom and Tower of Fantasy. And Monday to finish off the most excellent of vacations will be Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed and King Of Fighters XV to test out the new character NAJD. And probably some time next week I’ll finish up ghost trick as I think I’m pretty close to the end of it. As for the anime this weekend also pretty simple. My Tiny Senpai, Atelier Ryza, Zom 100, Liar Liar, Ayaka, Tenpuru, Yohane The Parhelion and Bungo Stray Dogs. That last one especially is just one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen I’m absolutely in love with it. And finally as for podcasts I think I’ll chill with some absolutely stellar Into The Aether and check out this new podcast everyone’s recommending Remap Radio. Have a excellent weekend and Happy Gaming to all.
Genuinely kinda funny how MWII and MWIII are mirroring the release of the original Modern Warfare 2 and Modern Warfare 3. In that 3 was kinda quickly rushed and not exactly planned as part of like the “scope” of COD games at the time. Like it wasn’t next in the pipeline I think that “honor” went to like one of the Black Ops games or maybe even Ghosts?????? Eh I’ll probably snag this one for Christmas this year. Also wanna add I think it’s funny that the original Modern Warfare 2 had a desert brown and light green color scheme on the box right? And the original Modern Warfare 3 had a hard green look. Well MWII has the more green color scheme which leaves this MWIII with a……. Red color scheme? I mean hey I love the look of it but I just think it’s funny.
I’m interested in picking this game on sale that’s for sure. Probably like a year after launch when it’s like half off but certainly all the articles on this site have intrigued me into giving it a shot so like thanks Push Square I guess?
I’m super happy to see it sell so well even if I’m kinda intrigued as to it selling so well when this isn’t even the version with rollback. I hope when Rising comes out with rollback and just ya know not at the start of a global pandemic it’ll be able to stand alongside the other titans of the FGC like SF6 and GGST and all of them. Also they haven’t said the thing I really wanna know which is will there be a physical copy of GBVS Rising?
@DennisReynolds what’s even crazier man is like everything you said there except for Cyberpunk DLC has like 5 day early access so people will already be going hard on like say Mortal Kombat 1 since like you can get that game on the 14th I think. Like a lot of those games people will already be dug hard in on. Not even to mention small things on other consoles like the Pokémon DLC on the 13th for example.
There are points I agree with Kamiya on and then there’s the kinda remembering of oh right it’s Kamiya I really should pay him no mind. Like he’s got extremely valid points when it comes to like Bayonetta (even if he did ruin the franchise) versus Kratos and he’s absolutely right that developers in Japan have much MUCH more sensibilities compared to western devs. Like he’s totally right that in terms of mood setting or story writing and even the world of most Japanese games are just that much richer then most western games. Personally if you ask me we have a great reference point this year with FFXVI and just everything about it. It’s a world with these Dominants and like look part of the world is rotting and these crystals are like 3 million billion feet tall and so much more. And you’re like wow this world is enthralling I wanna get dug in and then you got Baldurs Gate 3. Now all respect to Larian on this. And I know they’re not American. But this game has almost American sensibilities in now crude they pivoted with the marketing. It went from if you ask me like “hey uh we’re a D&D game and there’s a D&D movie coming out and we hope you enjoy it.” To “THIS IS THE GAME WHERE YOU HAVE SEX WITH BEAR. DID YOU HEAR THAT STORY? BEAR SEX GAME. BEAR SEX. BEAR SEX. BEAR SEX. BEAR SEX.” To the point I’m kinds sick of the game despite how well it’s selling. The only other thing I wanna say I’ve heard of the game is that Dark Urge thing which just sounds like the worst part of 7th Gen Gaming the morality systems in most games that usually meant nothing. All of this to say yeah Western studios are usually pretty boorish whereas Japanese studios just aren’t. So that’s like the one point I can give kamiya.
People will buy it because they’re happy to complain about it but won’t actually just ya know not buy it. The thing that impresses me is I saw Donatello the other day I guess promoting the new movie? And he went “I’m gonna go 15$ Mode.” And then he was priced at 15$ and I was honestly impressed
Wow this game dropped off hard in the news even because I had NO idea that they added Ripper to the game. I mean granted I don’t care but like wow that dropped fast.
I normally would be upset over something like this but this genuinely put a smile on my face. I thought it was genuinely cute watching Hamada be all perplexed going “homework?” And when ono goes Tekken cross…. And then Haradas just like GO GET OUTTA HERE YOU YOU CRAZY ANIMAL YOU.
I mean I won’t pay them 50$ for it but I’ll gladly pick it up on switch on a sale. I also won’t pay 50$ when it’s just a port and while I don’t think anyone should be celebrating about it I think anyone who’s genuinely really upset should just think “hey what if they did try remastering or remaking it like GTA Trilogy.” And if that’s not enough to make you pause I don’t know what will.
Best part of this years EVO was and I’m not being sarcastic here the fact every games grand finals I’m pretty sure outside of SF6 AND EVEN THAT COULD HAVE BEEN A KEN MIRROR MATCH were all mirror matches. Certain ones like MVC3s Zero May Cry is like whatever that games never getting patched and adjusted. But with certain ones like KOFXVs King Of Khronens it’s like yeah he’s been dominating competitions since launch it would be nice if next EVO was run by like a squad of NADJ, SYLVIE, and KIM. Overall tho a excellent time overall and honestly it makes me proud that alongside my single player games I have installed like TLOU1 and SpongeBob that I have basically all the next gen fighting games installed: KOFXV, GGST, SFVI, DNF Duel and soon to be MK1 or M1K. Of course I’m also looking forward to adding Tekken 8 there hopefully soon. And to cap it off I’m very excited to dive back into these games with all the DLC announced in the coming weeks like NAJD, and Johnny and everything else. I LOVE FIGHTING GAMESSSSSSSSS.
This was the last game my mother ever gave me as a gift alongside Mario Strikers Battle League and Gran Turismo 7. Oh and cult of the lamb I guess. So unfortunately while I can’t control anyone else’s feelings on the game I can’t personally bring myself to speak ill of it. One day I’ll hopefully pick up all the DLC and then also hopefully get back to the game proper. Sorry y’all.
I’m extremely excited for Season 3 of GGST. That and KOFXV will almost certainly wring a 20$ bill or something out of me this weekend at EVO with their DLC hahahah.
@get2sammyb I’ve completely given up on ever catching up I think I’m still in Liyue? And the game has just gotten so big and complicated now I find myself super frustrated. I’ll stick to catching up on XIV 😔
Again this whole thing is super messed up considering when they sold everyone the remasters of 3 4 and 5 they gave you a physical 5 case BECAUSE 5 WAS DIGITAL ONLY AND THEY KNEW SOME PEOPLE NEEDED ONE TO COMPLETE COLLECTIONS. Those were like their exact words so yeah this is pretty upsetting.
Well I made it through that week of early shifts. YIPPEE. 🎉 And I have lots of games played to show for it. Like Pikmin and more progress made in Trails To Azure. I did however drop a game and that’s Advance Wars. Mission 23 is just impossible even with a step by step guide and I’m just done making myself miserable. Anyways onto this week. For once I have a Saturday off so I’m finally gonna start Rain Code to celebrate and then late night finally get back to my darling FFXVI. The week ahead has mixed days of early and late so on early days I think I’ll finally start Ghost Trick and Xenoblade 3 Future Redeemed and on late days well that will be FFXVI nights. Also with the announcement of FFXIV Dawntrail I’m planning on finally getting back to and Conquering my fear of FFXIV: Endwalker in early August. Very hype for EVO next weekend and loving the FFXIV fan fest this weekend. Anime for the weekend is simple y’all already know we going Atelier Ryza, My Tiny Senpai, ZOM 100, Liar Liar and Ayaka. Music of the weekend is SF6 OST, RWBY V9 OST, Summer anime OPs and podcasts are Castle Superbeast and Into The Aether. Happy gaming and have a great weekend everyone,
Between a trailer on the One Piece YouTube channel for a episode of the anime airing on 8.6 and now this I’m getting the idea Gear 5 is gonna be the UI Goku of One Piece. Like if ArcSys makes a one piece fighting game like DBFZ you can’t tell me this Gear 5 wouldn’t also be DLC or base roster.
“How are you feeling about this first selection of DLC additions? Do you reckon this is a weak season, or are you excited for these new challengers?” Well seeing as it just convinced me to now not only pick up this game Day 1 but also shell out for the extremely pricy Premium edition i would say they succeeded and yeah I’m pretty hype huh? Hahahahaha.
Right so this weekend is a interesting one. The game I chose to main as the article said this weekend is Advance Wars, HOWEVER THERES A TWIST. That’s most likely for tomorrow Sunday. That’s because today I’ll most likely have no gaming as I embark on the weekend event of Barbenheimer. That’s right I’m seeing the two movies like probably half of America at this point. Technically I’ve participated in Barminheimer by picking up Pikmin 4 as well but I won’t be playing that. For Advance Wars I’m actually having slight fun by following a IGN Video Guide to the T so I’m almost done with it instead of struggling and getting really upset. I’m on Mission 19. Over on the PS5 I’ll most likely be playing some FFXVI tonight and due to special circumstances this week honestly probably some RE5, Fortnite, SF6 and other assorted fighting games but I’ll get to that in a bit. I actually beat RE5 this week so I just gotta wrap up the other DLC and then I can move onto RE6 for my marathon. As for anime this weekend it’s simple. Some Atelier Ryza, My Tiny Senpai, Zom 100, Liar Liar, Ayaka, and one of my new all time favorites Bungou Stray Dogs. As for those special circumstances this week I have basically nothing but morning shifts whereas normally I have nothing but night shifts. Now this is slightly bad for me as I stay up late hahahaha. But you know what it isn’t bad for? SWITCH GAMESSSSSSSSSSS. I’ve plans to go on a game starting Smorgasbord. Plans currently are sessions for Trails To Azure and Advance Wars to make progress in them. But also to start loads of games like Paranormasight, We ❤️ Katamari, Ghost Trick, Rain Code and of course Pikmin 4. Granted there won’t be much PS5 gaming but that’s why I labeled games that are easy to jump in and do a couple rounds in like fighting games, Fortnite and the minimal wrapping I gotta do in RE5. Very very excited about all this. Happy Gaming to everyone and have a excellent weekend everyone.
I’m seeing both and can’t wait. Seeing Oppenheimer first to become fully depressed at humanity. Then Barbie at night to turn my mind off and just have silly fun.
Alright credit to the author all those references to driving at the bottom of the article got a genuine chuckle out of me like none of them have before you did a good one.
Right this weekend is a kinda simple one. Having beaten Bayonetta Origins earlier this week I’m putting a pause on my work through Nintendo 1st Party backlog and swapping over to my 3rd Party Backlog hence my choice this week of Trails To Azure. I’m on chapter 2 and am really looking to speed through this game so I can get to Reverie. Honestly I’m almost tempted to just start Reverie for a little today just to get a taste of the game I’ve been waiting for 3 years for. I already got in some participation of the Splatfest in Splatoon this weekend. Team Mint Chip so as to be able to play with friends. Might get some Mario Kart in this weekend too so as to try the new tracks out too. Over on PS5 it’s a random time consisting of playing FFXVI, buying Witch on the Holy Night and reinstalling DNF Duel and buying its first DLC character Spectre. In other areas my sweatshirt of one of my favorite VTUBERS Sinder finally came in so I’m fairly happy with that. The Limited Edition copies of Rain Code are finally out so hopefully my copy arrives soon of that. And I’m getting ready to start my Summer Anime finally with the inaugural first two of the season, Atelier Ryza and My Tiny Senpai. I did finish up all my spring anime this week with the finishing one being Gundam Witch and seeing as it took Second in my overall ranking only beaten out by the immeasurable Oshi No Ko I imagine y’all can guess my feelings on it hahahaha. Wishing everyone a awesome weekend and Happy Gaming y’all.

Someone let me know when Eternights goes on sale? Alright thanks love yalllllll.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 504
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 502
Re: Mortal Kombat 1's Microtransaction Backlash Prompts Free Fatalities
Not that this really has anything to do with the whole microtransactions thing and yeah it’s Mortal Kombat but I gotta say while the Halloween Fatality was kinda cool this Thanksgiving one is just downright disgusting. And not in a hahaha he beheaded that guy and blood squirted out sorta thing like Mortal Kombat is known for. But like disgusting as in somebody with like a dark web vomit fetish would enjoy but no one else.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 501
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 500
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 499
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 498
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 496
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 495
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 494
Re: Rumour: Wild Hearts Support Is Being Slashed Just Seven Months After Release
@somnambulance you talking aveum?
Re: Poll: Was Sony's Latest State of Play Worth the Wait?
I said it was excellent because personally speaking I got a trio of excellent trailers I got rebirth tales of arise and separate ways so i am very very happy
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 493
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 492
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 491
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 490
Re: Feature: Saints Row Expansion Pass Review - Is It Worth Buying?
@czDante92 Dante, Dante chill they’re not Vergil man they can’t take that SSS combo you’re doing on their ass man. Let’s go get some pizza and chill out bro.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 489
Re: Armored Core 6 Is Apparently Five Times the Length of Previous Games
I like the fact it’ll be a long game but my only personal issue is I just worry it’s gonna be super hard like a Souls game and not worth my money.
Re: Twisted Metal Already Peacock's 'Most Binged' Original Comedy Series
Sounds like once the strike is over they’ll probably green light a sequel.
Re: First Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Trailer Revealed
Re: Diablo 4 Wins Back a Bit of Faith with Patch 1.1.1's Positive Changes
I’m interested in picking this game on sale that’s for sure. Probably like a year after launch when it’s like half off but certainly all the articles on this site have intrigued me into giving it a shot so like thanks Push Square I guess?
Re: Granblue Fantasy Versus Breaks 1 Million Sales Ahead of Rising's November Release
Re: Lies of P Goes Gold with September PS5, PS4 Launch Looming
@DennisReynolds what’s even crazier man is like everything you said there except for Cyberpunk DLC has like 5 day early access so people will already be going hard on like say Mortal Kombat 1 since like you can get that game on the 14th I think. Like a lot of those games people will already be dug hard in on. Not even to mention small things on other consoles like the Pokémon DLC on the 13th for example.
Re: Baldur's Gate 3 Lord Swen Vincke Unprepared for How Completely Viral That Bear Scene Went
@Czar_Khastik I thought you identified as a Stranger Of Paradise.
Re: Baldur's Gate 3 Lord Swen Vincke Unprepared for How Completely Viral That Bear Scene Went
@tameshiyaku literally made a entire comment about this in the Kamiya Article from a couple days ago, you totally get it my friend hahahahahaha.
Re: Devil May Cry's Hideki Kamiya Says Japanese Devs Should Be 'Proud' of the Term JRPG
Re: Street Fighter 6 Under Fire for Ridiculous Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DLC Pricing
Re: Play Crash Team Rumble for Free This Weekend on PS5, PS4
Wow this game dropped off hard in the news even because I had NO idea that they added Ripper to the game. I mean granted I don’t care but like wow that dropped fast.
Re: Evo 2023's Funniest Moment Has People Talking About Tekken x Street Fighter Again
Re: Red Dead Redemption Out on PS4 This Month, Not a Remaster
I mean I won’t pay them 50$ for it but I’ll gladly pick it up on switch on a sale. I also won’t pay 50$ when it’s just a port and while I don’t think anyone should be celebrating about it I think anyone who’s genuinely really upset should just think “hey what if they did try remastering or remaking it like GTA Trilogy.” And if that’s not enough to make you pause I don’t know what will.
Re: Poll: Did You Enjoy Evo 2023?
Re: Embracer Starts Shutting Studios as the Downsides of Consolidation Surface
They founded a company and then really just said nah shut it down. A+ job there Embracer really good job.
Re: Guilty Gear Strive Season 3 Kicks Off This Month with Johnny and a Game-Changing Update
Alright daisuke you copied drive rush from sf6 and I’ll forgive that but I’ll only do it if you give me ABA. GIVE HER TO ME DAISUKE.
Re: Saints Row Gets Another Huge Update Ahead of Third and Final Expansion
This was the last game my mother ever gave me as a gift alongside Mario Strikers Battle League and Gran Turismo 7. Oh and cult of the lamb I guess. So unfortunately while I can’t control anyone else’s feelings on the game I can’t personally bring myself to speak ill of it. One day I’ll hopefully pick up all the DLC and then also hopefully get back to the game proper. Sorry y’all.
Re: Guilty Gear Strive Set to Make Game-Changing Adjustments in Season 3 Updates
I’m extremely excited for Season 3 of GGST. That and KOFXV will almost certainly wring a 20$ bill or something out of me this weekend at EVO with their DLC hahahah.
Re: Genshin Impact's Gigantic Fontaine Expansion Plunges PS5, PS4 from 16th August
@get2sammyb I’ve completely given up on ever catching up I think I’m still in Liyue? And the game has just gotten so big and complicated now I find myself super frustrated. I’ll stick to catching up on XIV 😔
Re: Latest Like a Dragon May Have Really Erased Its PS5, PS4 Retail Release
Again this whole thing is super messed up considering when they sold everyone the remasters of 3 4 and 5 they gave you a physical 5 case BECAUSE 5 WAS DIGITAL ONLY AND THEY KNEW SOME PEOPLE NEEDED ONE TO COMPLETE COLLECTIONS. Those were like their exact words so yeah this is pretty upsetting.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 487
Happy gaming and have a great weekend everyone,
Re: Nine Additional Characters Coming to One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, Over Three Years After Launch
Re: Nine Additional Characters Coming to One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, Over Three Years After Launch
@Enuo where do you see uta?
Re: As Rumoured, Mortal Kombat 1's First DLC Pack Adds Homelander, Peacemaker, and More
“How are you feeling about this first selection of DLC additions? Do you reckon this is a weak season, or are you excited for these new challengers?” Well seeing as it just convinced me to now not only pick up this game Day 1 but also shell out for the extremely pricy Premium edition i would say they succeeded and yeah I’m pretty hype huh? Hahahahaha.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 486
@Kraven cold steel 2vis absolutely excellent I hope you enjoy it.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 486
Re: PS Store Summer Sale Live Now, Get All the Best PS5, PS4 Deals Here
Might be picking up Last Of Us 1 now that I finished the show. Key word is MIGHT.
Re: Diablo 4 Classes Nerfed to the High Heavens Ahead of Season 1 Launch
I’m still looking at picking up this game so currently I don’t have a character build to be upset over it getting nerfed hahahah.
Re: Random: The Barbie vs. Oppenheimer Feud Has Reached Final Fantasy 16 Voice Actors
I’m seeing both and can’t wait. Seeing Oppenheimer first to become fully depressed at humanity. Then Barbie at night to turn my mind off and just have silly fun.
Re: Gran Turismo Movie Had to Look and Feel Real, According to Director
Alright credit to the author all those references to driving at the bottom of the article got a genuine chuckle out of me like none of them have before you did a good one.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 485
