To add a little bit to it, Destiny is such a ln established and recognized brand that if they release a new game with less predatory monetisation and a more streamlined progression system that lets new players in easily, it would be very successful critically and also profitable.

The one that it should've released with in the first place? I'm glad I haven't bought this game at release. I love Persona but I don't trust Atlus.

@naruball It basically has classes and relationships that are similarly done to Fire Emblem. The combat has units that you organize in rows and they act according to the skills you've given them and where they are positioned. Very similar to Ogre Battle March of the Black Queen and Ogre Battle 64.
The story is very standard but well told with medieval flair in the dialogue.

If any of this interests you, it does everything I described quite well.

Got the game a day early due to preordering and I'm having a blast!
If you like Fire Emblem and/or Ogre Battle, this game is for you!

She's a terrible actress and one of the reasons I stopped watching the series. People are comparing to Forspoken but I don't think it's fair, since Forspoken at least had good graphics and the gameplay was acceptable. This looks much worse.

I prefer 60fps, but if they can't reach it, at least lock it at 30fps. Uncapped with dips in framerate looks absolutely horrendous.

Funny how people jump to defend this game for its graphical and sidequest issues while XVI was completely blasted for the same reasons.

To echo everyone's sentiments here, he's a legend who truly deserves all the rest he needs.

The jump in players is obviously leaving early access and due to websites showing Steam stats we knew for sure the game has sold way past 10 million copies.

Of all the things to be influenced by Sonic, being buggy and having collision issues definitely shouldn't be two of them.

@Impossibilium It's still trite to say it. Just because he explained it doesn't make it less trite. Instead of writing that in the negative points he could've put "slow burning and excessive reading".
I understand his argument, but people who look at the bullet points will be dissatisfied.
It's similar to the IGN Pokemon review with "too much water". Even though the writer went in detail about why the excess of water routes in a Pokémon game bogs it down, everyone thought that saying "too much water" was overly simplistic.

Even though it's not my kind of game, I'm really happy that the end product is a high quality game that the people who bought can enjoy and the developers can be satisfied with the results.

If you ever played an Ogre Battle or Fire Emblem game you owe it to yourself to try it.
It really feels like a mix of the two in the best kind of way.

£35??? I loved Else ring, but I bought the game for £55 and doubt this DLC Will be almost 2/3 the length of the original game. I'll wait for a price drop, that's way too much for an expansion.

I understand the concept, but frankly I felt uncomfortable when I woke up today and next to me was Phil Spencer in a dressing gown whispering "everywhere" in my ear.

I remember in the comment section of The Game Awards some people being snobbish and writing that the DICE awards are where the professionals of the industry vote and that's what counts.
I wonder what they have to say now considering 80% of the winners are the same. I guess the professionals and us common folk are not so different after all.

@UltimateOtaku91 It's a live service game that has very few players after a week. Number of copies sold is not the only thing that maintain a game like that alive. Suicide Squad is DOA.

I don't like the art style, the gameplay and the Live-service model. Also, the reviews are mostly saying this is an average game.

That being said, if this game is for you, I hope you are having fun!
