Re: Crimson Desert Dev to Patch PS5 RPG's 'Uncomfortable' Controls

@D6rkLordS6t6n They've already announced they are adding control options in a patch, so all this complaining has become completely pointless.

They're clearly listening to feedback, but it's easier to complain than to accept that they've made mistakes, acknowledged them, and are actively going to fix them as soon as possible.

Wonderful game with some glaring flaws. If you like a vast open world based on exploration, discovery and hard but satisfying combat, this game is a 10/10.

But it's also buggy, the story is meh, and cities and humans are very clearly video game characters, stiff with very little interaction. I could see this being someone's 6/10.

Overall loved it, it will probably be my game of the year, but definitely not for everyone.

It's clearly not for the Destiny crowd.

I played it and found it boring, slow and frustrating. Even the soundtrack is monotone and sleep inducing.

Also the menu UI is godawful. They clearly haven't learned from Destiny's mistakes in that regard.

Saying that, a lot of my negative feelings are subjective and genre based, I think the extraction shooter crowd will be satisfied.

I still think this game will live in the shadow of Arc Raiders, which feels like a more complete product.

@wildcat_kickz I agree with you that it's not as egregious as Into the Darkness was, I just think that due to modern cinicism, directors fundamentally don't understand that Star Trek is about an almost utopian society where we finally got our sh*t together and learned how to be a united front.

As you said, it's a matter of taste. I don't wish this film to fail as I like Helldivers, but I'm not hopeful about it. If I'm wrong, it's a win for everyone.

@PuppetMaster That's where we differ on movie tastes I guess. I think every Fast and Furious movie is absolutely awful and Star Trek Beyond is a bastardisation of what Star Trek is about. Generic action flick instead of a story about human development, working together, and diplomacy.

Since you like his movies, I hope you enjoy it, but I'm out.
