@ATaco Sony famously suffers more data breaches than all the other platforms.
I agree it's extreme fanboyism. A bunch of Sony fanboys can't take criticism because of a situation that was clearly mishandled by Sony. But as long as some people define their personality by which game system they have, we're going to have ridiculous arguments like this one.
@PsBoxSwitchOwner It doesn't matter what games they were playing. They were playing Helldivers 2 and their access was going to be revoked. No matter how you want to paint it, it's just wrong to sell a product and then remove access to it.
@REALAIS Exactly. I live in the UK but I'm from a poor country. It really resonates with me the struggle of countries that always get less access to everything.
@BeerIsAwesome You're forgetting about the 177 territories that would have the game bricked because there's no PSN. Or even cases like Ukraine where they can only have a PSN account if you have a PS5/PS4 console. Some people were acting entitled, some were real victims of Sony's ignorance of the PC market.
@Neverwild That logic is very flawed. Sony knows that steam is available in almost every country in the world and should take rigorous steps to make sure their games are not sold in territories where it would be impossible to play it.
@Mortal If it is a misunderstanding, Sony is still accountable because it's a major blunder to not know in which territories your own game is being sold. Their whole handling of the situation has been one fumble after another. Hopefully they'll be mature enough to make Helldivers 2 the exception and void the requirement. If not they have done Arrowhead Studios dirty.
The amount of ignorance in the comment section is astounding. While Sony has told everyone from the beginning that PSN was a requirement, PS Plus is available only in 69 countries and yet they sold the game to every territory. People who can make PSN accounts and are complaining can be considered entitled, but those that have no literal way to make it are being punished due to Sony stubbornness.
To sell the game in territories where you know that it's impossible to access PSN just to later pull the rug from under them is an absurdly scummy attitude from Sony.
@NEStalgia I agree. I think Apocalypse's quality overshadowed IV a bit, but IV is what gives Apocalypse the foundation to be what it is. It's a very solid introduction to that post apocalyptic universe. V doesn't get much better than it's beginning. Characters don't get much development and the plot doesn't have that characteristic SMT depth and complexity with philosophical and ethical questions. It feels rushed, as if they had the blueprint to a SMT game but never expanded on it. Hopefully this version will fix it.
I don't care how many hours they add, I care for the quality of it. SMT always had intricate and interesting stories and SMT V is a huge step down from SMT IV, let's hope they fixed some of that.
Amazing idea yet the game looks terrible. I hope they smooth things out before release, but we all know that more likely than not it will be released in a rough state.
I have to echo everyone's sentiments here. The plague is an interesting idea the should be further developed, not cut back on.
Also reducing pawn dialogue should be an option, not a fix. I like my pawns chatty, it gives them personality.
I played over 100 hours of Dragon's Dogma and it's captured a sense of exploration I haven't felt since playing old Bethesda games. It's clunky, it has weird and boring quests, but the combat is amazing and the exploration is so entertaining. It definitely deserves praise and sales.
@Czar_Khastik Fallout is focused mostly on exploration and it does have some similarities with elder scrolls Oblivion. The story is not that deep and there are some big plotholes but the world gets interesting if you focus more on story and less on exploration. I would say New Vegas is the exact opposite. It has an extremely interesting story and well developed characters, but it's exploration is more limited although more cohesive. DLC wise New Vegas had better offerings. Gameplay wise they're very similar but New Vegas has a slight advantage by having true iron sights on its weapons. Fallout 4 has the better gameplay of all of them, but it has an extremely dull story that is limited due to the main character being voiced. It's very shallow in its systems but it does have good dungeon design and if you like that repetition of looting to get better equipment to go on another dungeon and do the same thing again, it's the game for you. I personally prefere Fallout New Vegas, as I think it is the most consistent with its design philosophies and the most Role Playing of the games, but you're going to find people arguing for any of the 3 being the best. It really depends on what you focus on when you play a game.
The fact that some people are willing to pre-order Ubisoft games for £120 and think it's a good deal baffles me. Most of their games are boring, repetitive and extremely buggy at launch and to top it all off, are heavily discounted a few months after release.
Thank goodness the poll finally clarifies. 60 FPS makes a difference and most of us want it. To anyone thinking it doesn't make a difference to anyone, it doesn't to you.
@Czar_Khastik Apparently you can play the game with Ray Tracing but unfortunately it's locked at 30 fps. There's only so much a PS5 can process at the same time.
@Flaming_Kaiser I wouldn't take that review quite seriously. A lot of reviewers prefer to be controversial over analysing something objectively.
From personal experience I can tell you that even though the microtransactions are a blemish, they barely factor in the game.
The game has fast travel, it's just more limited and makes you plan your trips more consciously.
I played through most of the quests and some of them are a bit simple, but very far from broken.
It's a game with great exploration, amazing combat but a few clunky spots, like its story being a bit simplistic and some quests being bland. But it's far better than some would make you believe.
Relax guys! Elder Scrolls VI will be released by 2030 on the Game Pass for the Playstation 6 and the Switch 2 and no Xbox console since by them Microsoft will have given up on the console market.
I pre-ordered this game and this makes me 100% sure that I won't do it again if it's a Capcom game.
The worst part is that the reviewers including here at Push Square knew about it and didn't think it was important to mention.
Thanks for helping us make an informed decision.
They're a great company that earned the right to do whatever they feel like. What I know is that more likely than not independent of what it is, it's going to be great
@nocdaes Your comment sums everything up perfectly. Sony clearly has the perfect opportunity but because of the failure of the Vita they're too scared to go for it.
@gymratAmarillo 100% agree with you. To add a little bit to it, Destiny is such a ln established and recognized brand that if they release a new game with less predatory monetisation and a more streamlined progression system that lets new players in easily, it would be very successful critically and also profitable.

I'll wait a year and buy the game and the DLC in a bundle for £30. It should've come packaged with the game and Atlus won't get me with their scummy practices.

@ShogunRok only 69 countries would be able to play the game, but because you're in one of them you don't care about it right? Talk about privilege.
