Finished my plat run for dark souls(painful at times) and just brought balatro on switch tried the demo on PlayStation and thought it would be ideal on switch as I have gone away for a couple of days.

I'm off for 6 weeks as I work in a school so aiming to beat more time consuming games.

Also ATM just started the inazuma demo only experienced the early story elements

@Ainu20 I see where you are coming from, I played most of it but christ it felt like I needed a degree in English and politics to fully comprehend it. Doesn't mean the writing is bad it's a bit heavy at times and it does alienate people.

@Czar_Khastik his knees weak arms are heavy he's nervous but on the surface he looks calm and ready.

I'm finishing my time at Sandrock after spending just over 100 hours near the end of the story.

I will move on to shin megami tensei 3 nocturnal hd remaster as I am off for a week.

@CWill97 I platted the standard edition on PS4 but got brought the switch version years ago and stopped on act 2 final boss mordegon as it was so brutal I was playing with pretty much all the difficulty indicators on they didn't think that difficulty through so unbalanced.

My time at sand rock has the usual flaws but really enjoying it put over 70 hours still going through the story.

I feel Nier Automata was overrated the world was bland I wasn't bothered by the story characters are instantly recognised at least.

@CJD87 the OG FF7 is third on the list.

@Jireland92 it's got a 93 metacritic based on 114 reviews if that helps.

@gymratAmarillo or you could interpret it as what provides their fanbase with the most fun while hopefully getting other people on the bandwagon. I don't think he is naive enough to think BG3 is universally loved by everyone but Larian clearly had a vision which they stuck with and did a great job. I wouldn't say their game was goty for me but they made the sales and the awards.

I requested Fate Samurai Remnant as a Christmas gift and have been looking forward to it but I was spoiled with my birthday and Christmas by my GF and mum 😂 Baldurs Gate 3 hasn't clicked with me I have played over 20 hours local co op with my GF but it's not screaming goty. I haven't played a lot of the other big releases either such as SM2, TOTK, AW2,SMW so hard for me to pick a definitive goty 2023.

@Fiendish-Beaver it was a dlc added to the western release i have done tedious grinding but that was annoying at some stage I will get the plat but I really wish it was kept as dlc as it made the platinum trophy super grindy.

@tameshiyaku does the Japanese copy have English subtitles as I would love a physical.

Call me bitter but frustrating this got released in the east years ago and even years later with this version it's still uncertain if the west is getting it even though there is a market in the west for DQ games.

Ghost runner was fine some difficult sections but I was able to obtain the platinum

Finishing off FF 7 Crisis Core Reunion and maybe some Baldurs gate 3 with my girlfriend but there are so many options.

@wildcat_kickz They had a company called Disney Interactive as mentioned in the article which was shutdown as it was easier/cheaper to give away licenses to more experienced companies it was actually a sound decision for Disney.

@Sil_Am tell me about it got it second hand over 3 years after it came out for £40 didn't realise it would be hard to obtain physical copy.

I get annoyed with atlus I didn't buy the remaster because they skipped the FES version they could have combined both but didn't. Now with the remake they cut even more content and if they add it later it will be infuriating.
I do like the improvements as I was hoping they cut out characters getting sick and they did so combat I am happy with as they combined all the best elements from previous titles.

Capcom had to eventually drop the ball at some point considering how many well received games they released there will eventually be a dud.

I originally was going to buy persona 3 in January as I didn't finish my PS3 digital copy but I found out it was portable and not FES bit frustrated they didn't do an ultimate version for this remake but I'm still pumped.

Playing Resident Evil 4 after getting the platinum for Like a dragon ishin I will see if I can get the plat for resident evil 4 throw in untitled goose game life is strange series etc I'm off for two weeks so have a lot of time

Played it on Xbox 360 put in so many hours the stats reset must have put in 2000 hours no game came close I was addicted loved it don't play with those people anymore. It was my golden era 17-20 years old now aged 33 primarily play single player games as a trophy hunter and play co-op games with my GF from time to time does make me sad now but nothing I can do.

@Blackmagehobbit it's not as hard as people made it out to be I think I took just under 30 deaths to get the platinum which I was expecting a lot more I'm usually not keen on theses games either nor would I say I was amazing as im aware other gamers have half my deaths.

Persona 3 almost finished it on PS3 and was hoping it would get trophy support looking forward to it but if you have gamepass look out for it as I believe it's coming to gamepass.

@JoeDiddley how long did DQT take to do everything? I was tempted to add it to a present list as I want the physical copy and am concerned it will be harder to obtain and the physical may rack up in price.

Completed the game trophy hunting now should hopefully have the plat trophy by tomorrow a trophy popped while I was typing this message lol

I loved the original but it was short I think price tag is important sadly as in most cases I look at how much bang for my buck I get. It was easy when I was a child not sure if they have added content but I am hoping so.

@ThatMusicFan yeah first game I played really nails it only on chapter 2 but humour all the extra details it has done very well.

@MiaowMinx if they have an accessibility patch for a person with arthritis they are creating an easier game it's not the same as a colour pallette change for colour blind person. Based on the difficulty they clearly had this level of difficulty in mind while it was being made I'm not saying they shouldn't adapt I just get the impression based on the difficulty of the game they were not planning on compromising.

@TJ81 they were never going to adapt it that's the game they envisioned like a from software.

@UltimateOtaku91 well they made dreams which was similar to lbp and sackboy had his own game on PS5.

Shout out Zanki zero first person survival rpg. At first I wasn't sure but really got into it. It's just £9.99 it's not everyone's cup of tea but there are few games like it

I was hoping they would announce out today but I also thought wishful thinking I will be alternating between this and monster hunter rise which I will playing with my girlfriend

@get2sammyb I have played 1 and enjoyed putting in the hours spent so long on just normal difficulty alone is it worth getting 2 I was slightly put off by the lack of plat trophy in 2 putting in a lot of hours nice to have a plat trophy for my efforts. Sounds silly I know. I am tempted just to jump to 3 and come back to 2 at some stage.

That was my main gripe with 1 no plat for such a time invested game.

As I read this I got the face break again lol Anyone else notice the game crashing more especially when I finished a mission with Randvi anyway I don't need to talk to her again just finishing up the final story missions and now doing clean up for trophy I have spent 130+ hours with valhalla and I am confident I will break another 20 hours doing clean up while as odyssey I have just shy of 110 hours according to ubisoft they shouldn't keep making it bigger I have more time on my hands compared to gamers with kids and it's still taking me a few weeks.

@mcdreamer persona 3 should be downloadable from the ps store I do like physical copies but if you prefer it cheaper do that I got very far in p3 and stopped playing also barely started p4 4 years ago was meaning to come back at some stage

So was hoping for some news need to reach the conclusion

Finally started playing TCS1 in August 2019 and finished 2 and 3 by December 2019 last year

@delukze Yakuza zero is awesome it provided good entertainment and took itself seriously when it needed to but outside of the main story was a great deal of side content that was so varied and fun honestly was easily a goty contender and for some players I am confident it was their game of the year.

@Quintumply how long is the game unaided? I know it depends how good you are at puzzles, but what's the length roughly?

@deepspace5d that was one persons opinion if you read below the platinum rating they are picked based on a points system involving all members of staff

@themcnoisy sadly I got dreams in April and moved on after the first week not like I hated the game but there were other games. I needed to play and it was a big time investment a part of me still wants to go back at some stage.
