@ShadowRJ I get it. Like I said, I mostly play physical myself. It sucks. I just don't know if flooding social media with comments is the best way to go about it. Corporations tend to respond better when they get hit in the wallet. I'm still buying physicals whenever possible. That's still voting with my wallet.

@NoPhysicalNoBuy123 No rule against it. I don’t like that anyone who doesn’t fully follow the narrative is considered a bootlicker or attention seeker.

The only thing Sony cares about is the bottom line and making their shareholders happy. Doesn’t matter how many people on X and YouTube shout about it, no matter how famous they are. The only chance of something changing is if it hurts their profits.

Think the chances of them reversing course are near zero.

I do feel bad for the social media teams for having to deal with the wrath of their boss’s decisions. I don’t expect Sony to directly address it for some time though.

Not to be devil’s advocate, but what could they say that would help the situation? They’ll get bombarded with rage no matter what. I wouldn’t engage with the angry online mob either.

@8th_Observer It’s like those people who are spamming about Destiny 3 everywhere before this. They think that spamming PlayStation will make them get their way and it does come off as somewhat childish. Still, social media is so radioactive you could set Fallout 5 there.

I didn’t play any of those beyond the Elliot demo, but I really enjoyed it. I’ll get it at some point soon. Maybe after I finish Black Flag Resynced

@somnambulance If it weren’t for the fact it would lead to a lot of jobs being lost, I would say that the industry needs a reset… but the jobs being lost are gonna happen anyway
