@AdamNovice I think some of the reactions are a little knee jerk. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve seen people threatened to change consoles or get a PC and then they end up not doing so.

I wasn’t really looking to get this, but I guess they were a little concerned at how busy the month was looking.

I didn’t care about next gen before and today’s news didn’t change that.

Also, hardly anyone is clamoring for next gen, so it would make more sense to delay it, but we’ll see.

Good thing I’m in no rush for next gen. Still plenty of life on PS5. And wish all these speculation articles will stop. We have no clue what will happen tomorrow, much less over a year from now. It may be as bad as they say, but it could be worse or it could be better. But I think declaring gaming dead is a bit premature.

I turned on my PS5 and that little screen didn't happen and preorders are live now, so dunno if it's real or not.

I’m in no hurry for next gen, even if I didn’t have to worry about pricing. Nobody knows for sure. Maybe AI will completely collapse! Yes, I know that’s not very likely, but nothing’s impossible.

While it won’t make much of a dent in sales, good for them for sticking to their guns.
