It's awesome and I highly recommend you play it. Just make sure to download the unofficial patch and Josh Sawyer's mod for an ideal experience.

I liked it much better than Fallout 3. It had better world building.

That aside, I despise service-based games apart from dedicated MMOs like WoW, and will do whatever I can not to support them.

I'm hoping that, at some point, microtransactions with randomized elements (i.e., loot boxes), will get designated as 18+ gambling in the United States, which would hopefully help fight the trend toward service-based games.

Agents of Mayhem wasn't a bad game, although the reviews were nothing spectacular.

What killed it imo is lack of goods advertising and marketing campaigns. Off of dedicated gaming websites, I never heard mention of it anyway apart from a small Gamestop promotion.

You don't need to invest in expensive commercials per se, but you need to do SOMETHING.

I don't think this looks like awful gameplay. However, the level design in the foreground (as opposed to the background) looks a bit bland. If they're going for casino, especially on next-gen consoles, why not go for something much flashier for a casino? They could do more with this.

I think Sony may be a little disappointed in that the Vita probably could have fulfilled the same or similar "niche" as the Switch had it been released 3-4 years down the road and had more advanced streaming technology.

Preposterous! Sequels should always leave those who never played the earlier games lost and discombobulated.

This is so dumb, especially since TESO doesn't even come close to being a replacement for any proper elder scrolls game. It's not like WoW and the Warcraft series, where the former is good enough to replace the latter.

This is the kinda crap Sega did toward the end of its run producing consoles.

Still not a fan of the gambit system, but willing to give the game another shot now that they have the job system that allows me to give characters distinct roles.

Hated the "blank slate" approach of the original.

I haven't been this excited for a non-smash fighting game for ages. Day 1 purchase for me!

I never finished the original, in part because I absolutely DESPISED the gambit system and the fact that none of the characters really had unique roles to play mechanics-wise. I've heard the updated version, especially the job system, fixes some of these issues though, so I might give it another shot.

I dislike multiplayer competitive shooters so I will not be buying this. The only shooters I really like are games like Prey and Deus Ex, that also have heavy rpg elements.

This game beat Final Fantasy VII as my favorite RPG of all time, and that's a pretty tall order.

No. PC is the platform for people who want to experiment (and indeed I have subscribed to a couple early access games that have proven reputable on there).

I prefer nothing but finished games on my consoles, thanks.

Which of the PS4 RPGs on here have English dubs? I already own FFXV, and I know the Tales Games have English dubs too. Not sure about the others.

I get why some people don't like English dubs, but for me it breaks immersion to have to keep my eyes glued to the subtitles during cutscenes :/

I agree with Sony's move here. I think the move toward games as a service is stupid, worthless for the industry as a long term art form, and neglectful of what in fact makes gaming great.

I'm so tired of seeing FIFA and Call of Duty games in the charts. They need to be banished to an isolated dark corner of hell.

Showing game footage on a non-PS4 pro at this point is just stupid. Go with the best, and encourage everybody to upgrade.
