Bandai Namco has revealed Tekken 7's opening movie, and we reckon it's really good. It takes cutscenes from throughout the game's story mode and pieces them together to create a rather serious tone that works well. Obviously the underlying plot here is that Heihachi and Kazuya are going to have one last showdown, and so the movie's stuffed with a sense of finality.
It's probably up there with the best openings in the series, but we still don't think anything comes close to the Tekken 5 intro, with its angsty metal and fantastic sequencing:

Tekken 5's opening is still amazing, the original cheese fighting hype song.
Tekken 5's intro song is called Sparking.
By the way, I got to play Tekken 7 as part of a preview and if you guys played too then you know that they have some REALLY cool Tekken 5...stuff. I was pleasantly surprised, as a long time fan.
@AlexKidd You mean outfits, or...?
I haven't been this excited for a non-smash fighting game for ages. Day 1 purchase for me!
Superb intro - better than 5, for me.
This game will be like manna from heaven for long-time Tekken fans. Not long now!
I don't play beat em up's for the opening movie or the story though.
