Re: Square Enix Survival Action Game Left Alive Lands Two New Screens

Nah, im just very cynical.

As of late i found very little positives and uplifting in the state of video gaming.
What with price gouging,
DLC garbage,
annual releases,
broken and unfinished games,
kick starters that don't deliver what they promised,
kickstarters that fail,
day one patches,
online only games,
forced online check ins,
bolted on multiplayer,
franchises getting scuttled or rebooted or playing it safe.

and things look bleak
kinda makes me want to fire my Saturn up again.

Re: Poll: Do You Want Another Portable PlayStation?

I don't really game on the go, I got a tablet and several "smort" phones.
But I don't care to play games on the go, id rather do that at home.
Even with portable consoles.

Having said that, I would be down with another Playstation portable.
Providing it wont be an abortion like the Vita, with hideous expensive memory cards.

the PSP was and still is a great machine.
The Vita, not so much.

But if i had to choose between a psp 3 or a ps5, i'd choose for the ps 5.

Re: Single Player Games Are Really Struggling Right Now

Oh, goodie.
good thing then that I got a huge backlog.
Can't stand online gaming, who are games living on borrowed time anyway.
The plug can be pulled any moment.

And Fallout 4 was anything but superb.
it was Fallout 3 with prettier graphics.
And a subpar storyline, which had zero urgency nor was it engaging.
NV it was not

They are.
The moment the servers will go down and they WILL, the much vaunted multiplayer modes are deadweight taking up space on the discs.

I got stacks of original Xbox games whose xbox live modes are now quite useless.
Not too mention online only games, whose servers went down.

I'd rather be able to play a game when I want to. Not to be on borrowed time and at the whim of the publisher.
EA just loves to pull plugs.
