Im pretty happy with my portal. Used to use backbone with mobile phone, but portal is so much better. I think current screen is great. I wouldnt bother paying for an upgrade, even if it included good improvements like bluetooth. It will do the job it needs to until they release a device that can run games natively.
It's fair to call out the full price of these games. We all know that most will be on sale at some point for much lower and can do our own mental arithmetic to estimate what we think we have saved based on individual preferences of games we like. Impossible for push square to tilt the article in that direction. I 'tried' 7 of these games but didnt stick with them. A few more are on backlog and I will get round to them. Best game for me on this list (D4) I had already bought. So not a great year for my taste, but overall im happy with my ps premium subscription. I've had better luck with the extra catalogue.
At this point, if any developer says there was no Gen AI used anywhere in the production of their game, I would not believe them. I would bet they are the ones lying.
Wow, thats a lot of sales. Surely a lot of it is parents buying for their kids or nephews/nieces etc regardless of if they actually wanted it or not. I played it on ps plus, found it really boring. Quit it fairly early into the game, couldn't put up with any more of it. But clearly some people like it.
It's inevitable that AI will take over a huge part of game development. It will do the job faster, and eventually better, than the vast majority of humans. And anyway this is COD, who's playing it for its artistic expression.
As a day one buyer I don't regret it, but definitely a bit disappointed it didn't get more support. VR was always gonna be a small percentage of my overall gaming time. And there are enough games to meet that need. And I've enjoyed some great VR gaming experiences you just are never gonna get if you are limited to flat screen only. Although it could have been a lot better.
But i will definitely be wary of buying anything day 1 from them in future and will wait and see how it pans out first. Rumoured Sony handheld - day 1 buy anyone?
Migrated into PS Plus premium from previously having ps now. Ive never paid the full price, which improves the value it offers. Almost dropped from Premium to Extra last year. Not interested in demos, rarely play the classics, and dont bother cloud streaming to my portal (maybe have a use for this at some point). But they added PS VR2 games, so thats kept me in.

If the PSVR2 support is done well then I'm in
Re: PS Plus Gets a Decent Black Friday Discount, But There's a Catch for Existing Members
Same routine as last year then.
Let my subscription expire, resub at the discounted price and pay with wallet funds that were topped up at a discount.
