Re: Why Did We Never Get Bully 2? Rockstar Co-Founder Dan Houser Explains

@nomither6 I will respectfully disagree. Gaming was getting way more attention by the media, politicians, and even Congress in the US back then than it does now. Gaming devs are more likely to censor themselves now due to internal reasons than before though. Likely a significant amount of devs within Rockstar just wouldn’t be interested in Bully.

@Oram77 I am not going to buy but only because I intended on playing on the couch with my wife. None of my friends will enjoy this one and I don’t care to meet new people or play with strangers. I can admit this is likely a me issue rather than it being their issue though 🤣

Re: Now It's Being Sued, Blatant Horizon Rip-Off Removes Copycat Artwork

@Oram77 it’s mostly just a boring and tired talking point. It’s generally the same people that glorify stellar blade (I platinumed both games I’m not a hater) and they fail to understand they can hate on a Horizon all they want it’s still massively more successful than the game with the hot chick.

@SMJ it’s a common legal term essentially meaning damages are not compensable by monetary means alone. In this case the irreparable harm would likely be IP dilution and brand damages which are hard to calculate and quantify. It’s less an overblown term and more a term which accurately describes the type of damages. It doesn’t mean irreparable as in ‘can never be fixed.’ It means irreparable as to difficult to quantify the damages should the game be released, be terrible, and then harm one of Sonys highest selling modern IP. Lawyer talk over.

@AhmadSumadi I feel like we all know streaming/pass services are terrible for the inherent value of the product. It’s just that consumers view it as such a good deal they don’t mind the overall product degrading and the effect it has on the value of the workforce to the producing entity. Huge bummer. Game pass has crazy value to certain consumers but will long term be viewed as a net negative by many.
