@Oram77 I certainly am. Going for the platinum so I need to do like 90% of all side content so just wandering around making sure I don’t miss anything. It really is a fantastic game.
@ashipaw Stellar Blade pushed roughly 9 million less copies than TLOU2 thus far. TLOU part 1… a remaster of a remaster sold 2 million copies compared to an estimated 1 million units moved by stellar blade.
@Th3solution Agree 100%. Although I think at least 80% of the conversation around the game is just absurd. Regardless I played it four times and got the platinum twice so it’s pretty clear where I landed on in 🤣
@Th3solution People rarely mention the gameplay. It’s too bad because moving in and out of stealth using the verticality of levels and swapping between weapons is fantastic when mastered.
Even at $80 new that’s cheaper than when I was a kid. I am fine with it. Will continue my current habits. Games I am excited about I will buy full price and games I am interested in I will buy later on sale. Unless I’m bored and then I will buy them earlier.
@nomither6 Toxic positivity is the belief that people should maintain a positive mindset no matter how dire or difficult a situation is. The concord situation. This is overzealous brand management. A completely different thing.
@nomither6 What… that’s just brand management. It would be valid to think it’s miscalculated brand management. Do you know what toxic positivity is?
@LikelySatan It’s part of the charm. If kojimas name isn’t in the open credits ten times… is it even a Kojima game? (I loved the first one though I’m there day one for the second).
@mountain_spider The only real important context is that he is a very senior employee. There is no reason he should be texting people from his job like this. Even if the full conversation absolved him it’s ridiculously unprofessional and inappropriate and could easily be cause for termination.
@wildcat_kickz generally it would be yes. During discovery everything that isn’t a privileged document can be used in court filings so that neither party is prejudiced. There are exceptions of course but texts like these definitely wouldn’t count.
Sony’s investments in China and Korea are paying off massively without requiring first-party level money. While a small portion of the audience is asking “where are the games” Sony is bringing in a large amount of money this way. Hopefully we get some more bangers out of India and Africa where they are doing the same thing.
@wildcat_kickz if you are referring to the text messages he put the “private documents” at issue by filing his complaint. Almost nothing would be private during the discovery process. It’s one of the first things a plaintiff’s attorney tells a new client (or should). Everything will come out.
Edit: I defended a client on a slip and fall and everyone found out about the plaintiffs STDs. My firm didn’t use that information because we arnt horrible.. but everything comes out. I’ve had large cases with 300,000 plus emails produced during discovery and you would not believe what people talk about in work emails 🤣
@chrisPatsox Oof. As a lawyer I think when people misunderstand the law you educate them. Not be dismissive and arrogant. The general public’s misunderstanding of the court system and application of the law is a huge issue.
@HonestHick You highlight a big issue. Single player games cannot get people off their live service dopamine drips. I heard an interesting stat recently that said more people are playing old games than ever.
@HonestHick while there certainly hasn’t been a shortage of games on PS5 (I can’t even keep up) I would love a first party banger sometime soon. Seems like Ghost of Yotei in less than a year and then Intergalactic I predict in 2026. Wolverine in 2027?
@LikelySatan 🤣 just saw this. In the U.S., corporations are basically super citizens and receive special treatment far beyond an individual person. This is both hilarious and sad.
@Northern_munkey Can’t wait for the arguments in the comments sections. Interestingly Sony just said they are looking into alternate ways to sell consoles… they are not looking to make cheaper consoles… the discourse will not be improving 🤣

@Ravix 🤣 stop please
Re: First Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 DLC Out This Thursday on PS5
@PlatinumMikey it’s on a separate list not required for platinum but is required to 100%. Haven’t decided if I am going for it or not.

Re: PS5's Share of Active US Players Is Slowly Beginning to Pummel Xbox
@nomither6 unfortunately that’s never coming back.
Re: PS5's Share of Active US Players Is Slowly Beginning to Pummel Xbox
@nomither6 wouldn’t his proposition be good for gamers? Not increasing prices further in spite of inflation would be a big win for consumers.
Re: PS5's Share of Active US Players Is Slowly Beginning to Pummel Xbox
@Frmknst that would make it one of the largest subscription services on the planet… 0 chance that’s true
Re: Rockstar Silences the Sceptics, Confirms GTA 6 Trailer Was a Mix of Gameplay and Cutscenes on Base PS5

Re: The Last of Us Popularity Surges as Season 2 TV Trailer Breaks Records
@Oram77 people are selective with memory and narrative when it comes to this game.
Re: Intergalactic PS5 Game All About Faith, Religion, and 'Being Lonely'
@wildcat_kickz that is actually a high completion rating compared to most games.
Re: Abby Actress Kaitlyn Dever Aware of Outsized Expectations for Role in HBO's The Last of Us
Really glad I enjoyed the second game and that it sold so well. I hope they do something equally ambitious in the third.
Re: The Last of Us Gets Its Own Limited Edition DualSense PS5 Controller
Why this color scheme? What about the choice says TLOU? Should have been earthy and fern green or something.

Re: FromSoftware Plans to Flog Characters, Bosses as Elden Ring Nightreign DLC
