If you’re playing on the PS5 and PS4, then you’ll already be familiar with the DualSense and DualShock 4 as your primary input options. But did you know Sony’s consoles also support mouse and keyboards?
While it’s down to individual developers to implement support for the optional accessories, we’re keeping tabs on all titles which support mouse and keyboard controls on this page.
Please note that in some instances support may be limited, and you may still need a traditional control pad to navigate some menus or features.

How Do Mouse and Keyboard Controls Work on PS5, PS4?
You can attach any mouse and keyboard to your PS5 or PS4 as long as it has a USB cable. Once connected, both accessories should be detected by your console, but do note you may need to enable mouse and keyboard controls in your chosen game’s settings.
As mentioned above, support varies on a game-to-game basis, so you may find you still need to use your DualSense or DualShock 4 controller to navigate some menus or features. It really depends on the level of support included by each individual developer.
Do also keep in mind that in some instances support may be limited to simply typing out messages in text chat, as is the case in games like Genshin Impact.
Do you use mouse and keyboard controls on your PS5 or PS4? Would you like to see more games support this feature? Let us know if we're missing any compatible releases in the comments section below.

No wireless or bluetooth mouse support?? Jeez guess ill have to look old an old beige mouse from the 90's 😀
Weird that Doom 1 & 2 have it, but not Doom 2016 or Eternal! As much as I love the PS5, I do miss mouse and keyboard with FPS’s. I haven’t tried mouse/keyboard on a console since PS3 which was laggy and horrible as all hell. I’ll have to pull out that old Microsoft Intelimouse ball mouse with serial to USB adapter! @Jrs1, right there with you!
@Jrs1 Pretty sure you can use a Wireless or Bluetooth mouse it just needs to have a usb connection for the dongle (which most mice do).
I suppose I could test it later as I have a G502 X Plus and see if it works in the menus, as I don't actually play any of the games above.
EDIT: Doom was included on PS+ so I set it downloading from my phone and will give it a test later.
Give me Command And Conquer PS5 and I’m on it 100% and how is BS Reforged not on that list
Weird that there is no Concord support considering it's an FPS
Vampire Survivors don't support mouse??? So why it has clickable pause button on screen hud???
Awesome! Could you also research a list of supported keyboard and mice on PS5?
What's keeping devs from including K+M support in console games if the console enables it, and especially if there is already a PC version! I see no reason for single player 1st- or 3rd person action games on consoles not to have full K+M support. I'd love to play games like Mass Effect trilogy, Fallout 3, NV and 4, Metro 2033, Dishonored, Bioshock trilogy, etc on my PS5 with K+M. I still play these games on PC, but the mentioned titles are as much as my old PC can handle don't feel like spending €1500+ on upgrading. With full K+M support on PS5 and onwards, I would likely ditch PC gaming.
Well, just tried Doom, Doom 2016, House of the Dead Remake & Vampire Survivors, and keyboard works okay, but no mouse aim (it does recognise the mouse and keyboard through a separate usb hub which is nice)
Planet Zoo needs to do this as well.
My preferred method of input, Can confirm FN, Minecraft, Terraria, Roblox mostly and Warzone do, but Genshin Impact does NOT support it on console, if it did id be real happy. On Reddit there is also a collection of compatible kbm with the playstation so you wont spend loads on one just for it to be incompatible. GL
I gave it a try on Doom and the wireless mousee worked fine on the dongle, same with my wireless headset. I have found that most devices tend to work on PS even if they aree not officially supported.
For the mouse because it also has onboard memory the 5 levels of DPI shift i have set for PC also worked on the console and I assume the extra buttons which are bound to keyboard shortcuts would also work had I set them up.
I think some Need for Speed games also support keyboard and mouse on consoles, at least to an extent that it's playable and drivable.
We need more games that support Mouse & Keyboard.
@Cosmo_Kramer404 it says in the article - all that are wired.
I've never thought about k&m on my PlayStation(s). Probably will try, since I have some laying around. Especially with Minecraft and sone CoDs
Arma reforger and insurgency sandstorm full support I have both games
