Re: Sony: 8 Million Move Controllers Shipped Worldwide

GoldenCannon

Very impressive numbers indeed considering the Move did not receive much advertisement and marketing money. It is doing quite well and I'm sure this will continue to grow exponentially once more games comes out supporting Move. Now adays I play mostly with the Move as compare to Dualshock controller. Been playing Killzone 3 and Socom 4 using Move only and that kick ass.

Re: Virtua Tennis 4 Will Get a Move-Enabled Demo

GoldenCannon

I'm still interesting in this game though. It would have been better if they had supported the Move in the whole game but better then nothing I guess. Still want to try this game out. There were lots of positive previews with Move in this game.

Re: Out Today: PlayStation Move Heroes (North America)

Well depends on what type of games you like? If you are into FPS and shooting games then definately get Killzone 3, Time Crisis and SOCOM 4. If you are into casual or some fun for the kids and family then get Sports Champion, Start the Party, SingStar Dance, Flight Control (cheap on PSN) and Tumble. There are other sports titles like Tiger Woods if you are interested.

I've tried Playstation Move Heroes and it's actually quite fun and I actually think it's better then Start The Party but could be my personal preference. I think Move Heroes deserves much better score then what IGN has given which I think is appalling. The game is designed for the younger audience and casuals. Yes the game plays like a collection of mini games but it's well thought out. I think the reviewers needs to judge the game for what it is a casual game for a younger audience and not for what Ratchet & Clank, Jax and Daxter, Bentley and Cooper games originally were which were longer and more story driven. I think the game deserves a 7.5/10 and certainly not a 5 cough cough IGN.

Re: Out Today: PlayStation Plus SOCOM 4 Beta (Global)

GoldenCannon

I've downloaded the beta but haven't tried it out yet. Been very busy playing Killzone 3 online with Move Sharpshooter, currently ranked Colonel. My best kill to death ratio in any match was 22:4. I would not even get anywhere close to this ratio if I was playing with the Dualshock. The Move sharpshooter is hands down the winner in FPS games like Killzone and upcoming Socom.

Re: Move and 3D Being Considered for Battlefield 3

GoldenCannon

Please DICE bring Move and 3D support to Battlefield 3 and I'll buy your game. Killzone 3 has proven to us that the Move works well with FPS and so will Battlefield 3. Combined with the Sharpshooter and 3D it immerses you into a world that one have never experienced before in gaming. So do bring Move and 3D support and you will sell more copies.

Re: Killzone 3 On Kinect Makes Great Case for Buttons

GoldenCannon

Watching this video gives me so much frustration, I mean it takes the guy about 10 goes for it to register a command. I know this is only a tech hack but Kinect simply does not work with XMB controls and FPS games. It takes less then one second to press a button then it is to wave your hands around hoping the thing would register. This is why Kinect should be called DisKinect.

The Move works flawlessly with FPS games as proven in Killzone 3. It is the reason why I bought the Move in the first place as it can cater for all sorts on genres and is more suited for gaming.

Re: Move Games Go Cheap in European PSN Sale

GoldenCannon

Flight Control is quite fun and challenging, for this price it is a steal - buy it. The Move works quite well with it, even better then a mouse. Tumble, Sackboy Prehistoric move and MAG are also quite cheap and they are pretty good games.

Re: Sony: "We Wouldn't Ditch Traditional Controllers"

GoldenCannon

I agree, 3rd party developers needs to add Move support to their games especially when Killzone 3 proved that Move works almost perfectly with FPS games. In fact there was an artical today that EA is thinking of adding Move and 3D support for their upcoming Battle Field 3. Hopefully it gets implemented

Re: Movin' Up the Sales Charts

GoldenCannon

I've got 2 Move controllers the first day it came out and never been any happier. I love the accuracy and precision of the controller. FPS works almost flawlessly with Move. I've been playing Killzone 3 with the Move Sharpshooter and would not even touch the Dualshock as it is now my preferred choice. It puts me in a level of immersion like I've never experienced before.

I also have many Move enabled games like Sports Champion, Start the Party, Tumble, Flight Control, RE5, MAG, Killzone 3, The Fight, The Shoot, Heavy Rain, LBP2, Eyepet, Lord of the Rings Aragon's quest and many others. Looking forward to Socery, Move Heroes and Virtual Tennis.

I hope this helps the sceptics out there.

Re: Out Today: Killzone 3 (North America)

Swolern I'm with you on this, it is exactly how I felt when playing this game using Move and 3D. I was blown away by the awesomeness of this game, holding the sharpshooter feels like I'm holding a gun and 3D adds more realism to the game. You can see the bullets come flying at you in 3D, at times I was dodging the bullets, sounds silly but it's true. I think any PS3 owners should buy this game and the Move, non-PS3 owners should buy the PS3 just to experience this game.
