Even Halo: MCC which was a catastrophe in terms of networking for first few years was a huge commercial success.
Infinite wasn't such a success. That's why whole management layer of studio got laid off, whole studio was restructured and rebranded.
@Ricky-Spanish Bungie that made Halo doesn't exist anymore. And I doubt that they would even make a better game than Halo Infinite. So this certainly isn't a "slam dunk" as you think it is.
There are few people from Halo days still in Bungie. One of them is on sabbatical (Jason Jones) and one was a lead of Edge of Fate (Tyson Green)
Bungie's purchase was probably biggest misfire (outside of Zynga) of whole "acquisition spree" from 2019 to 2023. Declining live service game that was cause for two (or three?) layoffs, Marathon that seems like DoA.
@Cutmastavictory There won't be any Helldivers 3 anytime soon lol. Arrowhead already said that they are making their next game on their own ie. not published by Sony. And since Sony owns Helldivers IP, it's pretty much given that Arrowhead is not working on Helldivers 3.
I already see how this "battle" will end. BF6 will be released, everybody will be claiming "COD is dead." And then BO7 will be released month later with little fanfare and it will still overwhelmingly beat BF6 in terms of actual sales. And that's even with "Game Pass cannibalization" in mind.
@Vaako007 And how exactly can Game Pass "run out of money" lol?
You know, huge advantage of subscription model is that you kinda know how much money you are going to get, because people are paying every month +- same price.
So if you know that you are going to get 5 billion per year (which Game Pass is currently at), you can set budgets for stuff like third-party deals, marketing efforts etc. etc, while also keeping profitability of service intact. If there is less money coming, you will just scale down third-party deals.
That's why it was always hilarious to me when people were doubting profitability of Game Pass. Because making Game Pass profitable isn't that hard. Because Microsoft knows how big of a money pool Game Pass has, so they can work on deals for devs accordingly and scaling up only when money pool is larger and larger.
What a dumb take lol. In recent months Game Pass had day one games like Expedition 33, Blue Prince, DOOM: The Dark Ages, Citizen Sleeper 2, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Avowed etc.
Does any of those games seems like it was made by "wage slaves?"
It's just *****. Maybe if those games were "Game Pass exclusives" I would take that argument. But even that is not true, because each of those games were also sold "traditionally" alongside being in sub service. If not on Xbox, then you are selling it on PlayStation and PC. So it's in best interest of devs to make best game possible.
Also, Game Pass also funds games that would not be commercially viable otherwise. And those games are highly artistic stuff like Pentiment or Keeper.
I see that Push Square is doing exactly same thing that Pure Xbox did when Xbox execs started to have these kind of comments.
Almost like they are trying to spin in a way that it doesn't sound like they are saying thing that they are obviously saying lol. But okay. Take your "kumbaya" pills and please don't be PR agency for Sony lol.
Everybody with few pair of eyes knows that Helldivers 2 is just beginning.
@Rich33 Xbox was always "niche-er" console. Only reason it was ever going toe-to-toe with PlayStation was because Sony shot themselves in the foot with pricing of PS3.
Xbox sold 1/8 of what PS2 sold Xbox One sold less than half of what PS4 sold Xbox Series sold way less than half of what PS5 sold
People are pretending like Xbox was some kind of juggernaut that was beating the competition. Which was maybe true, but only during 360 era and only in US market. But that's not true. PS3 even outsold X360 with one year less on the market.
They are right. Even at it's best Battlefield could hardly match sales of COD games.
Could it sway some people away? Yeah. But I doubt it will do any kind of "terminal" damage. Especially since gear is moving from BO6 to BO7. Not to mention fact that even if this year's COD would be not that great, every COD game is only relevant for 12 months.
Logical question is why Sony wouldn't port their games to Xbox. PlayStation users have no reason to switch, because Xbox game are coming to PlayStation. So it's not like Sony needs to worry about "if we port our games, users will leave PS ecosystem towards Xbox"
So if they port their games to Xbox, they will earn more money, while keeping their console audience stable. Sounds like no-brainer to me...
@T-Bone09 "Have you seen God Of War come to Xbox? Spider-Man?"
Obviously not, because Sony is at the beginning of exploring their new approach towards other platforms. So these things takes time. Of course. But I guess with increasing pressure in terms of budget of games, it could speed up this process significantly.
Even when Microsoft started porting their games on PC in 2015-2016 they weren't on PC day one and some games (like Halo 5) never came to PC. But few years later everything was day one and one decade later Xbox is biggest publisher on PlayStation.
Like I said in my top post. Sony is using ports like MLB, Helldivers 2 or even upcoming Marathon for research. To recognize if they would cannibalise sales of their consoles. If answer to that question would be no, there is literally no reason for them not to make Xbox ports. Because it's literally free money. Like they are doing now on PC.
"devs are skipping Xbox?" Bro. Only high profile games that skipped Xbox were Black Myth (which hilariously coming to Xbox exactly one year after PS5 version) and Baldur's Gate III because of Series S. All other high profile games that skipped Xbox, skipped that platform because Sony paid big bucks for that to happen (Silent Hill 2, Final Fantasy VII and XVI). And fact that Square Enix is backporting FF games to Xbox is kinda proof that whole narrative "Xbox users don't buy games" is just hilarious ***** not underpinned by hard data.
Of course some devs (like Moon Studios) will prioritize PS5 versions of their game because PS5 have bigger installbase. That's obvious and logical. But if what you are saying is truth, Sony would not even think about porting Helldivers 2 onto Xbox consoles. Not without Game Pass deal. Because "nobody buy games on Xbox" lol.
@T-Bone09 It's strange when people refuse to realise in which way wind is blowing.
Sony went from "Spider-Man will forever be PlayStation exclusive" tweet in 2017 to releasing 4 years old game to PC (Horizon Zero Dawn) in 2020 to releasing just one year old game (Spider-Man 2) in 2025. With live service game coming PC day one and to Xbox consoles a year after.
It's called a boiling frog. They realised there is hardly any shrinking of their console audience while they have additional revenue from other platforms. They would be dumb to not take advantage of that.
I don't know how you call a company that in last months released
Game for PS5 only (Astro Bot)
Game for PC and PS5 (Concord) (which would probably also be ported later to Xbox, if it haven't failed spectacularly)
Game for PC, PS5 and Switch (LEGO Horizon Adventures)
Game for PC (Spider-Man 2)
Game for Xbox, PS and Switch (MLB The Show 25)
Game for PS5 (Death Stranding 2)
Game for Xbox (Helldivers 2)
...other than multiplatform publisher...
And argument about Bungie doesn't hold much water anymore. Because after recent Bungie shenanigans, Sony took direct ownership of Bungie. They could cancel Marathon for Xbox in a whim...
It's like when Spencer said that they are only porting four games to PS. Everybody with a few braincells knew that it would not stop at 4 games. But there were always people who just refused to accept reality.
Mat Piscatella from Circana said just last week that people are entrenched into their ecosystem of choice thanks to digital purchases that created huge libraries.
Which means that overwhelming majority will not change their platform even if Sony/Microsoft will start porting their games elsewhere. Which is exactly what Spencer told before Starfield came out - even if that games was 11/10 it would not move PlayStation players towards buying Xbox.
Console space have dealt it's cards and everybody have their hand. Even if Microsoft will drop price of Series X to 299$ and made every first-party game outside of COD exclusive, they still would not outsold PS5. Everybody who is thinking otherwise is delusional.
Same for Sony. Even if they kept every first-party game only on PlayStation, PC gamers would not have bought consoles lol. Same as Xbox owners would not started to selling their consoles. Because they have hundreds of digital games there. And also Game Pass. There are so much games coming out on PC/Xbox that you can safely ignore PlayStation and their 1-2 first-party games per year if they are not coming to your platform. Same as PS users ignored Forza Horizon 5 for years until it finally came to their platform and then they bought it in droves.
So how you grow your addressable market? You start porting your games elsewhere. And like on PC, it would be a slow and cautious process. But when Sony will realise that they can have their cake (huge console audience) and eat it to (additional revenue from Xbox platform), they will start porting everything.
Because while you may laugh that Xbox "only" have 35 million Series X/S consoles on the market...even if 10% of that market would have bought Spider-Man 2, that's 3,5 million additional copies sold, which at 70$ makes 245 million of additional revenue.
So to me Helldivers 2 is a testbed. And if that test will be a successful, Sony will be more brazen in their approach.
It would be hilarious people who bitched about Series S being bottleneck for next-gen development will suddenly be totally okay with "Power save mode" which will essentially turn PS5 into Series S with other power profile...
And some people around here suggested, that game should be sold at discount at release, because nobody will pay full price for almost 4 years old game lol.
Since bottleneck for games like GTA VI would probably be CPU side (since Rockstar games tend to have a lot of simulations, physics and huge crowds) and since PS5 and PS5 Pro have same CPU, I doubt that game can "only" by be played at 60 on Pro.
It would be either 60 FPS on all consoles (barring Series S) or it will be 30 everywhere.
@SleeplessKnight I would not say that PC gaming is not "direct competition." It's more like Sony needed vectors for growth and PC gaming was farther away than Xbox.
But my point still stands. Sony is conservative. So they are approaching Xbox same way as PC from 2020 - just bring one game, see what kind of numbers it will produce and how it will affect your business. If there will be little impact, move faster, port more games etc.
But I doubt there will be much a of a impact, so Sony will see it in future as "free money." Especially since next Xbox is rumored to have multiple launchers and be able to run PC version of games. So they will be getting Sony games regardless.
@SleeplessKnight You know what is a concept of boiling frog right?
Sony is basically making same approach as with PC ports. At first it was just one game, 4 years after release (HZD). And nowadays it's almost every game with some of them released day one on PC (Helldivers 2) and some of them only taking year to come to PC (Spider-Man 2).
When Sony will realise that there is no negative aspect from porting their game to Xbox, because their console audience is stable, they will start porting everything.
May I remind you that if you mentioned PlayStation games being on PC just 5 years ago, you would get "never" answers?
@Lock_Dock122 Maybe because "nobody is playing on Xbox" and "nobody is buying games on Xbox" is just pure myth.
Sony has numbers of Xbox copies sold from MLB The Show and know how many active Xbox players (and expansion buyers) are playing Destiny 2 on Xbox.
So fact that they are bringing Helldivers 2 on Xbox means that there is plenty of gamers who are gaming on Xbox and plenty of gamers on Xbox who are buying games. And Sony knows that. Otherwise they would not bother with the port.
But I guess it's only strange for people who believe whole "nobody is playing on Xbox" nonsense.
It's pretty clear that Spencer and co. lost actual control of Xbox division. I mean, they are still "in charge" but people actually in charge are Nadella and Hood.
Which doesn't mean it's not Spencer's fault. He kept promising Nadella everything while failing to deliver. And now promising projects like this are paying the price with hundreds of devs being without work.
@UncleByron We can agree to disagree. Story where main character murders hundreds of people and then spare her archnemesis for no reason at all and suddenly is just dumb to me.
Not to mention fact that story of the first game was unique to the Ellie and Joel. Story in second game is dumb revenge story that could happen to anybody in that world.
Terrible story. Like...I was okay with what they did in first part of game. But if you getting rid of one of the main reasons why first game was so great, you need to be damn sure you will replace it with something as interesting. And they failed spectacularly.
Game was just too damn long. Gameplay wasn't nearly as complex or interesting to warrant 25+ hours playthrough. They could throw away half of characters and half of levels and game would be way better.
Some parts of the game was just terrible because of lack of pace. Mainly those "open-ended semi-linear" parts like Seattle. That ties to gameplay mechanics, but pace during those parts was just awful.
Visuals are top notch and are holding pretty nicely even after 5 years.
Overall? It was "okay" game. But bitterly disappointing after first game and probably weakest ND game since first Uncharted.
So, device that will try to offer ease of use of consoles with flexibility of PC? With access to PC content (with PC ports of PlayStation games?) And will have Game Pass?
Yeah. True shocker. Square was telling Xbox players to buy PS consoles to play FF since 2020 (when Remake came out). Not to mention they came with FFXVI two years after initial release.
Considering Xbox games goes on sale pretty often and soon after release (Oblivion remaster is 20% off just 2 months after release), I kinda don't see problem.
People (especially here) complained that FH5 is being released at full price 3 years after initial release and yet, people bought that game in droves. So much so that it sold more copies on PlayStation 5 than AC Shadows lol.
So charge more for impatient and then catch rest of people with 20% off seems like obvious thing to do. It's not like Nintendo, when you would need to wait years for any kind of deal.
Also...you know...there is a Game Pass if you complain about price too much And anybody who thinks Sony won't follow should probably wake from their dream. Ghost of Yotei would be last non-live service PS game that will be sold for current price. Also. Price is going up only in certain territories (USA). I noticed that in my territory, The Outer Worlds 2 cost same as Avowed.
It's hilarious to complain about "Game Pass as a threat to game industry" when most-played chart on every platform is literally dominated by free-to-play games lol.
@ChrisDeku That's why I said it was way worse Xbox Showcase than last two years . Live service segments a stuff like GoW Reloaded were primary reason. Black Ops 7 should have been at start, not "one more thing." FF stuff should not be there, because announcing port of 5 years old game during your biggest showcase is just dumb. All that stuff should have been replaced by at least two high-profile first-party games. Especially since Spencer already confirmed that Fable, GoW E-Day, Forza Horizon 6 and Halo CE Remake will release next year.
They showed three new first party games, that weren't announced before (Grounded 2, Black Ops 7 and Keeper) and all of them will be released this year, gave release dates to two other already announced first-party games (The Outer Worlds 2 and Ninja Gaiden 4), while NG4 was announced this year. Basically only first-party game without date was Clockwork Revolution, which majority of people consider best game in Showcase .
So you basically took Clockwork Revolution and pretend that it is the case for every first-party game lol. Meanwhile Xbox have (barring exception towards stuff showed in 2020, when they were desperate to announce everything because they didn't have enough studios) been pretty quick with releases after announcements. DOOM: TDA was released less then year after announcement. Indy was announced and release in same year. Age of Mythology Retold year after. Oblivion Remastered was released same day lol.
It's especially hilarious in context of State of Play that you praised. Which showed teaser for another State of Play (Ghost of Yotei), games that were already announced and in some cases already had a release date (Metal Gear Solid Delta, Silent Hill f, Baby Steps and Pragmata). Not to mention fact that Pragmata was announced 5 years ago. And we can't forget update for existing game (Astro Bot). So...double standard?
What I said wasn't outlandish. If you take scores on public pools, majority of people agree that it was XBShowcase - SGF - SOP in terms of quality. It wasn't a huge difference between them, at least not for me. But it was still there. Obviously, you can have different subjective opinion.
@ChrisDeku I mean. You can check Geoff's pool Considering how much Xbox "has no games" it's pretty interesting that they have best showcases year after year
@Don_Corleone Are you a person or AI? Because wall of the slop you just wrote made me think that this isn't a thing someone wrote.
I was talking about showcases. Nothing more, nothing less. If you need to go on tangent because of that and extrapolate your poor attempt to weigh in into Xbox vs. PlayStation ecosystem, that's just your problem lol.
If you think that I'm loosing my sleep over Xbox porting their games onto PlayStation, you are barking on a wrong tree mate. I truly don't care. I own Series X and PS5 and prefer Xbox because of Game Pass. If that change, I will change my main platform. I'm going where better deal is.
It's also hilarious that you are crying about "4 of the same games year after year," because last time I checked, Xbox has pretty great variety in terms of new IP's. Just this year, they launched 3 of them. Also it's hilarious that PlayStation guys a frothing about those "dead IP's" so much that Forza Horizon 5 is one of the best selling games on PlayStation this year
Xbox had a best showcase, not because it was great, but because all other were rather poor.
It was okay, but nowhere near great as last two years. But since Spencer already teased Fable, Gears E-Day, Forza Horizon 6 and Halo CE Remake for next year, I'm not that mad tbh.
Clockwork Revolution looks like best game ever and my wet dream coming true. But even with Grounded 2, ToW2, Ninja Gaiden 4, that Double Fine game and Black Ops 7 I expected way better showing from first party.
Which is honestly hilarious, because there were literally 7 first-party games shown during showcase and one expansion (for Indy) and still I'm thinking that there wasn't enough. There was just too much stuff missing from them that probably should have been there. Stuff like State of Decay 3, Everwild or Fable. And also...that live service segments should die already. Like, I know that Sea of Thieves is still popular and same is true for TESO and Fallout 76. But please...why in Showcase?
@ChrisDeku MS showed 12 first-party games last year. From which they already released 8 (again, not counting expansions). Sprinkling some stuff that is further away when you already have stacked release cadence is not a bad thing in slightest.
It's not like everything they showed is releasing in 5 years lol. From "not released" games there are Fable, GoW E-Day, State of Decay 3 and Perfect Dark. All of those games (outside PD) will be out this or next year.

Re: Black Ops 6 Conveniently Free Again as Battlefield 6 Battle Royale Launches
@Rich33 I would say first option is correct.
Let's face it, COD is not going anywhere. BF6 maybe had huge launch, but that's still mainly on PC.
On consoles it couldn't beat year old COD game (+ Warzone) in terms of engagement
https://bsky.app/profile/matpiscatella.bsky.social/post/3m46ngmpcuk2b
But this is why competition is important. Thanks to BF6 pressure, COD ditched stupid skins and SBMM and are really leaning into player feedback. So at the end of the day, both fanbases will benefit from this.

@Cutmastavictory But your whole point is really strange.
Why on Super Earth would Sony need to release H2 on Xbox to secure potential Helldivers 3 when H2 was fastest selling PS Studios game in history?
Answer is "it isn't a reason." Reason for Xbox release of H2 is that Sony knows that "console wars" are over and they want more money.
Re: Meltdowns on Social Media As Sony Markets Its Upcoming Xbox Port
@Cutmastavictory There won't be any Helldivers 3 anytime soon lol. Arrowhead already said that they are making their next game on their own ie. not published by Sony. And since Sony owns Helldivers IP, it's pretty much given that Arrowhead is not working on Helldivers 3.
Re: Meltdowns on Social Media As Sony Markets Its Upcoming Xbox Port
Dumb meltdowns aside...I really doubt Sony would care to do this if their "Xbox port initiative" was only for Helldivers 2 and MLB.
...just saying
Re: Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Will Go Up Against Battlefield 6 from 14th November
Re: Xbox Game Pass May Make Devs 'Wage Slaves', Says Ex-PlayStation Exec
@UltimateOtaku91 Yeah. I'm sure it has everything to do with subscription services...which are not even that big in grand scheme of things...
...and not because of free-to-play live service "black hole" games that are constantly in top of "most played" section on Steam, PSN and Xbox Live
Re: Xbox Game Pass May Make Devs 'Wage Slaves', Says Ex-PlayStation Exec
Re: Xbox Game Pass May Make Devs 'Wage Slaves', Says Ex-PlayStation Exec
Re: A Quote from a Sony Exec Is Causing a Hubbub Among PS5 Fans Again
I see that Push Square is doing exactly same thing that Pure Xbox did when Xbox execs started to have these kind of comments.
Almost like they are trying to spin in a way that it doesn't sound like they are saying thing that they are obviously saying lol. But okay. Take your "kumbaya" pills and please don't be PR agency for Sony lol.
Everybody with few pair of eyes knows that Helldivers 2 is just beginning.
Re: Call of Duty 'Too Big to Fail' as Activision Braces for Massive Battlefield 6 Hype
@Rich33 Xbox was always "niche-er" console. Only reason it was ever going toe-to-toe with PlayStation was because Sony shot themselves in the foot with pricing of PS3.
Xbox sold 1/8 of what PS2 sold
Xbox One sold less than half of what PS4 sold
Xbox Series sold way less than half of what PS5 sold
People are pretending like Xbox was some kind of juggernaut that was beating the competition. Which was maybe true, but only during 360 era and only in US market. But that's not true. PS3 even outsold X360 with one year less on the market.
Re: Call of Duty 'Too Big to Fail' as Activision Braces for Massive Battlefield 6 Hype
Re: Rumour: Sony to Put More First-Party PS5 Games on Xbox
@Lup Nate is probably most trustworthy insider out there.
He was first who talked about Xbox games coming to PS5 last year.
Re: Rumour: Sony to Put More First-Party PS5 Games on Xbox
Logical question is why Sony wouldn't port their games to Xbox.
PlayStation users have no reason to switch, because Xbox game are coming to PlayStation. So it's not like Sony needs to worry about "if we port our games, users will leave PS ecosystem towards Xbox"
So if they port their games to Xbox, they will earn more money, while keeping their console audience stable. Sounds like no-brainer to me...
Re: PS5 Fans Getting 'Really Carried Away' with Job Listing Which Implied More Exclusives Could Be Ported to Xbox, Switch
Re: PS5 Fans Getting 'Really Carried Away' with Job Listing Which Implied More Exclusives Could Be Ported to Xbox, Switch
@TrollOfWar lol. I forgot about those.
But nice way to prove my point
Re: PS5 Fans Getting 'Really Carried Away' with Job Listing Which Implied More Exclusives Could Be Ported to Xbox, Switch
Re: PS5 Fans Getting 'Really Carried Away' with Job Listing Which Implied More Exclusives Could Be Ported to Xbox, Switch
Re: PS6 Handheld Becomes More Legit with New PS5 Power Save Mode
It would be hilarious people who bitched about Series S being bottleneck for next-gen development will suddenly be totally okay with "Power save mode" which will essentially turn PS5 into Series S with other power profile...
Re: Xbox Port Forza Horizon 5 Reportedly PS5's Best-Selling New Game of 2025
And some people around here suggested, that game should be sold at discount at release, because nobody will pay full price for almost 4 years old game lol.
Re: Rumour: Sony Engineers Allegedly Helping Rockstar Achieve 60fps in GTA 6 on PS5 Pro
Re: Worried About AI in Game Development? It's Here, and It's Only Getting Worse
You can't put genie back in the bottle. However many people around here would want to do that.
Instead of "if," we should be contemplating "how"
Because AI is just a toolset. So important thing is how it is used, not if.
It's like being outraged that modern AAA open world games are using procedural generation for assets instead of creating every asset by hand.
Re: PS5 Fans Divided Over Helldivers 2 on Xbox Pivot
Re: PS5 Fans Divided Over Helldivers 2 on Xbox Pivot
@SleeplessKnight You know what is a concept of boiling frog right?
Sony is basically making same approach as with PC ports. At first it was just one game, 4 years after release (HZD). And nowadays it's almost every game with some of them released day one on PC (Helldivers 2) and some of them only taking year to come to PC (Spider-Man 2).
When Sony will realise that there is no negative aspect from porting their game to Xbox, because their console audience is stable, they will start porting everything.
May I remind you that if you mentioned PlayStation games being on PC just 5 years ago, you would get "never" answers?
Re: PS5 Fans Divided Over Helldivers 2 on Xbox Pivot
Re: Xbox's Promising MMORPG Sounds Like the Most Baffling Cancellation
It's pretty clear that Spencer and co. lost actual control of Xbox division. I mean, they are still "in charge" but people actually in charge are Nadella and Hood.
Which doesn't mean it's not Spencer's fault. He kept promising Nadella everything while failing to deliver. And now promising projects like this are paying the price with hundreds of devs being without work.
What a ***** show...
Re: What the Hell Has Happened to Call of Duty?
Sad truth is that stupid collabs like this are most profitable ones. And that remains true, they will keep happening.
Re: 'The Campus Has Been Quiet for Too Long': NBA 2K Bites Back At EA College Basketball
Can't wait for another MTX hellscape by both companies.
Re: Poll: How Do You Feel About The Last of Us Part 2, 5 Years Later?
@UncleByron We can agree to disagree.
Story where main character murders hundreds of people and then spare her archnemesis for no reason at all and suddenly is just dumb to me.
Not to mention fact that story of the first game was unique to the Ellie and Joel. Story in second game is dumb revenge story that could happen to anybody in that world.
Re: Poll: How Do You Feel About The Last of Us Part 2, 5 Years Later?
Re: The Next Xbox Is a PC, So What Does That Mean for PS6?
So, device that will try to offer ease of use of consoles with flexibility of PC? With access to PC content (with PC ports of PlayStation games?) And will have Game Pass?
I'm more than interested...
Re: Final Fantasy 16 May Have Underperformed on PS5, But It's Doing Terribly on Xbox
Yeah. True shocker. Square was telling Xbox players to buy PS consoles to play FF since 2020 (when Remake came out). Not to mention they came with FFXVI two years after initial release.
It's truly "reap what you sow" lol.
Re: Xbox to Blame for The Outer Worlds 2's Devastating $80 PS5 Price Point
Re: 'People Are Less Willing to Pay': Dev Speaks Out Against Day One Releases on PS Plus, Xbox Game Pass
It's hilarious to complain about "Game Pass as a threat to game industry" when most-played chart on every platform is literally dominated by free-to-play games lol.
But I guess, narrative must go on, right?
Re: Round Up: What Was Announced for PS5 at Xbox Games Showcase?
Re: Round Up: What Was Announced for PS5 at Xbox Games Showcase?
@ChrisDeku I mean. You can check Geoff's pool
Considering how much Xbox "has no games" it's pretty interesting that they have best showcases year after year
But I guess those are probably paid users.
Re: Round Up: What Was Announced for PS5 at Xbox Games Showcase?
Also it's hilarious that PlayStation guys a frothing about those "dead IP's" so much that Forza Horizon 5 is one of the best selling games on PlayStation this year
But please, go on. It's honestly hilarious.
Re: Round Up: What Was Announced for PS5 at Xbox Games Showcase?
Re: PS5's Brilliant New State of Play Breaks Records for Sony
@ChrisDeku MS showed 12 first-party games last year. From which they already released 8 (again, not counting expansions). Sprinkling some stuff that is further away when you already have stacked release cadence is not a bad thing in slightest.
It's not like everything they showed is releasing in 5 years lol. From "not released" games there are Fable, GoW E-Day, State of Decay 3 and Perfect Dark. All of those games (outside PD) will be out this or next year.
