Re: PS4 Pro Will Support These 41 Games at Launch

GBMatthew

@ranjas The point is that this is a Playstation news based website that always seems to be behind on their news updates that's all. Don't be such a pretentious fool.

@GBMatthew Watch the language please.

Wow you modded that tame remark lol.

Re: Rise of the Tomb Raider Gets Multiple Modes on PS4 Pro

@GamerDad66 I think that it is a good thing as this generation of consoles were significantly under powered hence both companies releasing new iterations so early in the product lifecycle. They are simply using the leapfrog business and product model to overcome the problems.

Re: Mafia III Is Somehow 2K Games' Fastest Selling Release

Games rarely have good mature stories nowadays that when a game is released with one we all lap it up. Some of us are after more than just another Michael Bay gun ho style of game. Yes the game has its flaws but the story is very good. So let's hope developers and publishers learn from this.

Re: Talking Point: What's Your PlayStation VR Launch Experience Been Like?

GBMatthew

@TheGZeus I'm glad people are enjoying it but, I'm with you, it seems very expensive for what it is. If I hadn't bought the Pro I may have gotten one. However, 350 + 40 + 70 = £460 plus you'll need some games for it or should I say experiences. That's a lot of money for something that doesn't offer any sort of compelling game yet.

Image 1 highlights my major issue with most in car camera options. You have less than a third of the screen showing the view. No car looks like that behind the wheel it is just ridiculous.

Re: PS4 Controller Scoring Full Native Steam Support

GBMatthew

@get2sammyb Not necessarily as long as your PC has a Bluetooth module you should be ok. I can play a lot of the newer Ubisoft games via UPlay with just a Bluetooth connection to my Dualshock 4. There are also a few games on Steam that currently support wireless PS4.

Re: PS4 Pro Will Be Compatible with SATA 3 Hard Drives

GBMatthew

@finalstan It makes a big difference as it is double the speed. It is not just about loading games it also greatly benefits games that use asset streaming whilst you play, data is loaded much quicker thus you get less hitching and pop up as you play which gives a far smoother experience overall.

I use a 1TB Samsung Evo in my current PS4 and its made a huge difference to my gaming experience I now couldn't use one. The Pro's Sata 3 will be twice as good.

Re: PS4 Pro Will Be Compatible with SATA 3 Hard Drives

'which should result in faster loading and game installs should you upgrade' Come on guys not probably it will, fact. An SSD at Sata 2 has a huge impact on the PS4 console Sata 3 will be significantly better.

I currently use a 1TB Samsung Evo SSD in my PS4 at SATA 2 and it dramatically improves the load and access times. I was really hoping for SATA 3 support on the PRO but didn't expect it so it's fantastic news.

Re: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Special Edition Goes Gold on PS4

GBMatthew

@BladeRider I think a lot of people are in for a bit of a disappointment on this one, after all it is a Bethesda game. As I previously mentioned it's 1080p at 30hz? with the same textures. Yes I also read that article 'improved by new assets; plants, mushrooms, stones and extra trees are more liberally dotted around' plus an added depth of field with an overuse of the bloom effect by the looks of it. FXAA is also used which is great because that means it will look like we have Vaseline smeared across our screens. I may well be proven wrong and it turns out to be a truly remarkable remaster for a change we'll see.

Re: Review: FIFA 17 (PS4)

GBMatthew

This years game plays worse than last years. The game feels way off to me, the controls are so slow and unresponsive. I don't feel that I have much input in the game and they are still using heavily scripted game play. Just Awful i'll be sticking to PES and Fifa 16 this year.
