@Lolzified Exactly, I think the people that hold him in such high esteem are unable to differentiate the difference between simply stating some differing opinions to their own of the man and defending Konami.

I wish it had maybe 1 or 2 levels of the SP game to play as I'm more interested in that.

I have tried so many times to get into this game but, I just can't. It's crazy as on paper this should be my sort of game but, I just dislike and cannot get past the levelling and combat systems.

@NathanUC That happens in so many games. It is baffling how it's not picked up in testing, oh yeah I forgot nobody tests their games any more it's left to us.

@solocapers You echo my thoughts exactly. The way this guy is held in such esteem is frankly pretty weird.

He had enough time and money to produce a good game and I suspect Konami were sick of waiting for a finished product. Sadly whilst we got the best looking and playing game in the series it was an unfinished and convoluted mess.

That is great news I hope it leads to an even better sequel. I had more fun with this game than many of the so called AAA titles this year. It reminded me of the old PS2 era of games which were great and all about gameplay diversity and mostly having fun.

Their 12 deals of Christmas looks a better prospect with the latest Tomb Raider only £21.99. A bargain price for that game.

They need to lock down the PS4 Pro. Be honest this time and tell consumers what to expect in the future from games.

Clearly the nonsense that they stated of enhanced Pro games having to run equal to or better than the original games is utterly useless.

No doubt that this will be more bad press for the Pro. Sony need to get on top of this, as a Pro owner it is all getting a bit annoying now.

@thedevilsjester I thought that the utter lack of any sort of challenge and awful combat ruined the whole game.

I actually prefer Unity at least it was challenging playing through all the content solo. The graphics were also a lot better in Unity furthermore the combat was far superior.

@lixei32 True and we are all getting very tired of it. I think that it is fair to say that very few game developers bother with play testing or QC nowadays. They just release them and patch them later once the users have discovered and complained about bugs etc.

@Paranoimia Glad I'm not the only one who didn't like GTA V. The main characters were so unlikeable. I've never understood the games appeal or sales success.

I also think that this generation has been so bad with QC and releases have typically never even been play tested. Gamers have learnt to wait for game patches etc before rushing to buy. Furthermore, with so many games being released gamers just can't afford them all and often are waiting for price drops before purchasing.

Whilst a lot of the above points are valid I think a lot of people are overlooking how off putting the tone and theme of this new game actually is to a lot of gamers. The original had a darker more mature tone to it, this sequel just looks like a teen SJW game. The videos I have seen of the characters, dialogue and story have just put me right off buying this game.

My wallet is dreading it. I have so many games to play at the moment it is getting ridiculous however, I know that I won't be able to resist more bargains.

I'll be playing Assassins Creed The Ezio Collection this weekend played a bit last night very nice in 4k. Much better looking than the early videos showed.

I Know a lot of people are into these MMO style games but I've never understood the attraction of them. They tend to just be endless grinding for more xp and better gear. Maybe it's the social aspect.

However, it is great that a lot of these games are being bought to the west, just shows how important market share actually is.

Erm ok seems I'm all alone here but I hated the PS3 with a passion. The DS3 was a woeful controller. The PSN store was just a chore to use and so slow. The downloads were abysmal in process and application. You had to leave it on the store page to download your game at any bearable speed which meant you still had a very long wait.

Yes some of the exclusives were great which is why I put up with it just for those. Thankfully the PS4 they got right and is my console choice this gen. Needless to say the Xbox 360 was my choice of console last gen and my favourite console thus far although the PS4 may well change that.

Pathetic deals in the UK as usual compared to the US. Half these listed items were those prices before the so called BF event.

I knew this would be good the first game was one of my favourites of that year.

Nice just my sort of game. I miss games like the Vandal Hearts series. It's a shame that the genre isn't more popular we used to get a lot on the PS1 and PS2.

I'm still waiting for the GOTY version before I buy. I have the base game on PC which will keep me going.

The trouble with a lot of these so called remasters is that they loose a lot of the artistic style in their upgrades. Darsiders 2 for me looked worse than the original as do the Arkham games along with most others.
