@PuppetMaster In the end they do it for the money like it or not. Is it worth the investment and do you want it to take revenue from your newer games with a lower return. As much as i love older games i totally understand the thought behind it. Only thing i dont understand is the trophies part.

@SuntannedDuck2 The problem with Infamous the latest ones especially you feel like there is no grey zone. Its good or bad and even worse it locks you our of moves if you choose the better option. It makes that you dont really have a choice of what you want to do your put on tracks.

Resident Evil really was a bloody nightmare the worst thing is when i saw the first Leon trailer and i had so much hype... That was a slap to the face you know that the worst part is i didnt even get that far .😅

@DennisReynolds I know how it goes now but this is how it should be. That is the new idea of selling a broken product and its so normal that we dont even blink a eye when a game is a mess on day one.

On full price or even worse a higher price for early access that was cheaper before option before because you bought a game that was still being developed or worked on.

People now accept that as a early buyer you pay full price or even a inflated for the worst version of a game.

Im glad they are not in the food industry. Even with cars now you get subscriptions for certain options in your car what is the world getting into.

Well i know people defending broken or incomplete games i have people here getting mad that people with a PS4 expecting a working game with Cyberpunk.

@McBurn It shows that some gamers will eat a plate of ***** if you give it to them. Look at sports games of EA zero effort and people still buy it. Pokemon is terrible,with a day one €30 DLC with more to come.

It does show that Branding is strong even with so much negativy COD still is at No1 the same goes for Pokemon that entry was also horrible.

I have not bought since the 2014 remake and im happy i never did.

@Nepp67 The best kind of game where you want to explore i had the same with the first Horizon finding the collectables for the backstory and the best thing nothing was locked off you could always go back and find them. Its also one of.the few games i player without w guide.

@DennisReynolds So the 1.7 should have been the base release version.As a essential update it means the game was hot garbage is 1.0 state. The bar is so low we praise a game for making it functional.

Oblivion was the best remaster remake are you serious there were no other contenders that can be the only reason or people are so stupid its baffling.

In the end Steam is just a rental service Gabe said it himself you own nothing. And if you only rent games ofcourse it should be cheaper.

The other thing its more expensive and you talk about a VR headset. It's less powerfull then a PS5 so the demanding VR games wont work the price could be close to a PC what would be the use of that platform? Isnt a PC the more sensisable option at this point?

@Dalamar Like it or not it is the truth the biggest hater are the antiwoke crew. Bad combat? I loved it the game i played the starting area for 30 hours just having fun. They had the best collectables i loved looking for them as they fleshed out the backstory. And one of the best thing you were able to get all items never being locked out of them. For me it was a fantastic game and i played it for 120 hours.

Oh it doesnt not even close in the optimised games for single platforms run quite great. Its the reason why some First party titles look better, run better.

@Logonogo I do have a few issues with the game though. Everything ends horribly i would love to atleast have some options to get so better endings in quests. Also the quests are almost impossible to find without a guide they are way to vague. And please some way of tracking what is happening in the questline.

@Oram77 What is AI used for the most at the moment? Cutting corners putting out slop. Kids use it to make their papers, used for scamming, fake video and copying art without paying the artists, and it drains power like there is no tomorrow. Its also seems like people see it like a magical tool that creates everything and it comes mostly in the news with by the lack of checking what it says. So far the tool is used for one thing and that is saving money i love the AI not Helpdesk that is useless well its usefull for one thing connecting to a real human that can help me solve the problem.

One of the most colorful special game developers used for the most boring piece of tech.

@Deadlyblack Its their own money that funded it they can do whatever they want with it. In the end the game for crucified for how horrible it was. Its a pity they didnt try to do something with it because in the was it really as bad as it was made out to be.

@1970sGamer As 1980 guy the use AI isnt great so far. Mostly used to streamline scamming, low effort quality art, stealing of content music and art, making art more boring then ever, using so much power that it will be unsustainable. Oh yeah its true AI will be used to replace workers in the end who will buy stuff if everything is Automated en the rest done by AI.
