I hate subscriptions to a certain degree its like i need to put time into playing them because im paying for a subscription.

I'm now 43 i have hundreds of games so if it all goes streaming ill be gaming for cheap no need to buy anything anymore.

*Edit Google stadia was expensive less 0% ownership, lag, dependent on being online, and 100% control from a platform to pull everything you don't even own. If digital is the future then GOG is the only good way to go. I did never trust big corp and never will especially the massive ones in the US is seen the mask come with Trump completely.

A Game tested by the public with a game more polished and playtested by the people who will eventually buy it. The big fans get to play it early at a lower price.

And you release a more solid 1.0 version i believe games printed should not be 1.0 but the latest stable build available only Stellar Blade did that this generation it's a sad state game preservation.

Such a pity they put a billion in liveservice garbage failures i rather seen it put a fraction in this for some help.

@themightyant I really dislike these Gatcha things its all the same in the end and it runs on addictive gameplay and use a small group to fund it all.

I will say it every time let me pay and i gladly pay for a complete experience. I rather play and make some effort to choose what i want by doing research.

It's Horse armor DLC all over but they won already DLC that cost €20/30 for skins in COD is accepted already as a normal now.

Indies are showing the way gaming is still as much fun with smaller budgets and can be way more risky with way less money so it's not the end of the studio when it fails.

@Deadlyblack With these issues the game does not deserve to get fully priced. To be fair all Bethesda games deserve to be priced with early access prices.

@carlos82 Still it's better to buy less so you don't sit looking at what you should play. The best thing is finish and buy when you are done. It's cheaper and adds less pressure for the things you have to finish. I hope i listen to my own advice in the future.

I kinda wonder how they will flood that sell you a game like Stadia did and you own nothing and pay full price or you need to a increased price.

Then you want to play FIFA or BF and you need another subscription. Let's hope all your favorite games are from one company otherwise you have to pay extra.

@Andy22385 I'm probably not the person to talk i find the Bethesda games a bit dissapointing and after Skyrim on PS3 I was done with them. It is kinda special that with all their games they somehow can't fix them on multiple generations and need the community to clean up their mess.

@VenomUK No the wrong message in my opinion the industry need to bring back early access in the way its intended. Playtest the games at a reduced pricepoint and release when finished.

@ShogunRok Ah yes pay full price and and it gets fixed later most of the time. I think we need another way of releasing games. This was called early access in the past where you bought the game at a decreased price for playtesting the game.

Having nothing to for a week then hearing we have to 5 orders with massive problems with the machines.

And why you ask because sales didn't check their email. But if we make one small error they have our heads on a platter.

Most problems seem to be from up top not doing their work though. And dumping their mistakes on their workers burning them out while they payed the least.

Crunch isn't normal it's mostly a thing of bad management. It can happen once in a while but if its a constant someone on top needs to get fired.

Edit in a normal world its give and take but in reality the top works the lower people to the bone while keeping the rewards to themselves.

@themightyant Its so hard because i really likes Code Vein. I think i will be cleaning up some smaller games first i don't really have a plan. And maybe ill get to Platinum things like Dark Souls 1 and 2 i have gone quite a long way with those games. Maybe what remains of Edith Finch. Or Valkyria Chronicles that game is fantastic.

@ShogunRok @TechaNinja And here we are as paying customers and they sell us a collectors edition with the disc with a steelcase or even more blatant a collectors edition without the game.

@Eadgar I love these monitors but they are to small for me i just upgraded from 43 inch 1080p 60hz to a 50 inch 120hz 4K. Im certain it looks looks fantastic but i rather have a bigger screen.

@themightyant I just bought a 4K tv this year and Ghost of Thushima looked fantastic on PS5 im more interested in high quality finished games then looks at the moment. I just finished Code Vein as my last game 222 hours now i have to think what to finish next. 😆

@somnambulance Elden Ring was fantastic and i loved the PS5 version of Ghost of Thushima, Just finished Code Vein. My backlog is to big i have difficulty choosing what to play.

@themightyant Elden Ring is my go to 900 hours. The problem is the stack is getting higher and higher. It's like Netflix you browse through it and you watch the same thing you watched before or just give up. 😅

@TrollOfWar If i look at streaming it didnt make anything more affordable. It's going to become a nightmare with hundreds of different studio or one that will take you to the cleaners. Also its a nightmare for preserving games.
