The downside your going to premium prices for your console. Higher prices for PS Plus and other hardware. And if your really lucky subscription based gaming.

@Boxmonkey Then don't cry if your console will cost you a few hundred more. I buy physical saves me money and i can resell.

A lot of people seem too revel if a game fails they don't like. I think a lot of games fail because they get destroyed by critics and haters before they even get a honest chance.

@EVIL-C Sorry they made a remake that ran worse and didn't look better then the original i think in this case it's on them.

@themightyant Simple update with higher framerate and resolution update would have been enough.

If i could have a subscription at half the price with no free games i would take it. I don't need them and i don't play them.

@SMJ That is the ugliest design i ever seen in my life its a rejected Xbox. The colors wow they look worse then a 20 year old VCR.

@GamerDad76 After a while whats the use i agree you own the products less, games get released in a worse state, games get more expensive, things like peripherals get more expensive, the consoles are less repairable.

Edit and if you are a early adopter you get the consoles with the day one issues and things like a PS Pro make make jt even worse.

cost nowadays it's definitely not cheaper. What is the costs of a seasonpass SF6 €49 a pop then DLC its not a lot cheaper its incomplete. By the time you got the complete packaged i wonder if its cheaper.

@KoopaTheGamer Less exclusives make it better? To make stuff that is a bit more out there exclusive games are quite good. I wish we got the older Sony back.

Original games and thinking out of the box. Making special games that shows your platform is special. Microsoft is a massive company with no soul nothing special besides Master Chief and what they bought.

So much fantastic games and franchises i miss it the same slop to get the biggest groups. 🤮

Sony Nintendo i love their exclusive games a lot i hope they get back to their core business making original games. Not only Marvel and whatever.

@Dragon804 Microsoft has shot itself it foot by giving their games away costing them massive revenue. That is the only reason they release their games elsewhere its not because they care about you sorry to break it to you.

@KoopaTheGamer If you have a small amount of buyers and people pirate it's probably not worth the costs.

Exclusives really make me happy still hoping for a Legend of Dragoon remake.
Even better it shows how special and unique games sell i see as big plus.

Nintendo wipes the floor with Sony and Microsoft. It shows several things exclusives matter and powerful hardware is not the most important thing.

Edit: Gabe Newell knows this too taking affordability over specs.

I care about a good complete roster with fighters on day one with some some good costumes out if the gate. And a complete edition with stuff on disc.

@JayJ I totally agree I have that issue now im trying to fix that. I need to get back to that state where I focus on one thing and enjoy myself if I have to wait a bit instead of reaching for the phone straight away to get my dopamine fix.

@RBRTMNZ I have not played the game so i can't really comment on the game about that. But there are different ways to make a game difficult not every was is the right way. There is a reason I like the original souls games they are hard but fair. And sometimes you have hard games but they are just hard in a cheap way. Difficulty is great if done correctly not in the cheap way.

@Broosh its not their fault they get so overstimulated with short bursts of adrenaline with all the apps, games, YouTube shorts, Tik Tok they can't happy with a normal buildup.

@get2sammyb Look at short content on YouTube its a serious problem i catch myself with watching that crap having trouble to keep focused sometimes. All short bursts of excitement its really bad its a reason I killed of free to play stuff with FOMO it consumes your time in the end i noticed I was not playing to have fun I was just playing to kill time.
