Why Square-Enix can't you make a Parasite Eve. Make a remake on the level of smaller budget games. Polish them and bring them up to snuff with with textures, resolution, FPS.

@Bizzy But i still need to buy a expensive new thing its more expensive then a console all the things take effort to so why not just keep my console. The retro consoles are making a option even re-released consoles by third parties.

@TrollOfWar What does selling well have to do with qualify? Tell me one person who says Astrobot is a bad looking unoptimsed mess. There are tons of cult classics that never make bank in movies and games.

@TrollOfWar Its a pity you bring games that are not inhouse studios. These were all games that were helped with funding but let the studios do their own thing.

Firstparty exclusive games are so good because of Budget, focus on one piece of hardware, in-house custom engines. Good games are not always financially successful.

And Unreal 5 is populair engine but some somehow never said to flexible without serious power. I don't hear that Unreal 5 is the engine to make it run perfect on everything its looks good with strong hardware.

Consoles are made for people with a budget looking better on minimal hardware. I have to disagree that exclusive games are not better looking, and more stable, and polished and optimised games.

Why do you think a IPhone runs better then a Android with less powerful hardware. Its simple you don't have to focus on different kinds of set-up.

I think even a pro console has negative impact on the polish of games it introduces more variables.

Just like a PC it looks better because you can bruteforce it. Having graphics cards of thousands of Euro's/Dollars/Pounds that need powersupplies that are so heavy its insane.

@DennisReynolds I had one game my hole PS2 and i cant remember one i had during my PS1 era. Ill take that over this era but that is my personal experience.

@PuppetMaster I would not mind that even the old collection from the PS3 era fixed would have made happy.

@themightyant @Northern_munkey I'm sorry but why are you calling this a new breed of a game. Free to play like most of them, heroshooter like all of them. Nothing really special. @dskatter You see it in all the little details. From the shipping boxes, sleeves, cards. The Quality is less i got three packages stolen. One i got empty at home and two never arrived it all got handled but i cslled them how is its possible three packages back to back got stolen, delayed and missing. LRG is a mess after they got bought.

Resident Evil is doing great. They have good titles, Monster Hunter is hit and miss with different games, Streetfighter probably is succesfull financially.

Porting isn't free whatever we want to be believe. Sony was chasing the liveservice trend instead of investing in new fresh idea's and smaller games. The Western vision is made for profit only not to futureproof the Sony brand. The brand i loved because of their original games and vision for the customer.

I never played numbers 3-5.
Number 1 i played one time for 30 minutes years ago
Number 2 i played BO3 a lot, BO4 came with plus for maybe for two hours, MW Remake for PS4i played that so much. And no COD since.

I tell you Final Fantasy 7R would have been better this way. As much as i love style of the new game this would have been cheaper, more time for polish, and finished faster.

@nomither6 One time AI makes a positive impact i can handle that it seems like it could help people who can't play a because of maybe medical issues. Sounds like something that would benefit people.

Wow its almost like people don't only need games with massive 100 million budget.

With a lower budget game you can make a profit. They have so many fantastic classics that get this treatment.

I Believe that FF7R would have been better with a Expedition 33 kind of remake. Updated graphics with a few extra and done in a normal time.

Exclusivity is not the problem its a way to big budget with a to long development cycle.

@dskatter Dont get me wrong i love them. But damn i had payed for the shipping economic and its just as expensive as using DHL speed delivery. After i gave response telling them it would be nice if they could give a headsup that fast delivery would cheaper i got a response you choose economy. I was quite surprised and disappointed i always was happy with them but that one really disappointed me.

In the games are more expensive and not better you pay extra for a few extra days of play. But early access is mostly a payed extra. And if you release a game that is buggy or bad it should be sold as a early access game at a discounted price. Like Hades did that i the right way to do early access

@BAMozzy You dont understand the concept of art look i know AI is a soulless copier but the art still needed to be created by artists. Again AI cant make it without making a copy and mix and match.

@Mr_Singh That is why consoles are pushed back because of the abundance of cheap RAM. The power issue will stay a problem with a powergrid full im glad that in the Netherlands they are looking what is possible now. Not drop them all over the country taking the power away from companies that create jobs .

@J2theEzzo Let's be honest the mobile made us already dumber and with this it's only getting worse. AI makes us think even less if I look at my teamleader he does everything with AI is sometimes wonder why they need him.

Well 95% of AI is slob, garbage and a waste of energy. There is good stuff but let's be real most of it is just garbage.

@BAMozzy Microsoft does not create anything they buy stuff. They have the stronger hardware they lose, buy the biggest companies and they still lose. What does it say that the exclusive games make your platform special. Why have platforms without exclusives something that makes your platform special. What would MS be without a Halo, Gears? And MS isnt a company i want on top they had enough massive issues with the EU for fines.

@ATaco I, don't say AI is completely bad but we should not act like its the solution to everything. And one thing rubs me the wrong way training AI on the content of workers to make them obselete it's just plain wrong. Or you pay your workers for their contribution and pay them royalties for their used content.

If the patch is bigger then the thing in the disc you messed up.(or the original download of the game)

Perfect era is non excistant i know that 99% of my games I have on my PS1 work from the disc without the need of a patch. The only old game I had that had DMC3 special edition i cant name a single other one.

@BAMozzy Even with all technology here in the Netherlands we have a massive shortage of skilled workers. As much as technology is great some things can never be reproduced art is a great example of that. Because a AI cant create from scratch, does not comprehend feelings. Craftsmanship is another thing some things can't be reproduced. Being completely dependent on technology is also i big issue if skills are lost it's gone AI won't think of new ideas.

@SEADAVIE Every thing has its place. I love my singleplayer games with with a clear path and a ending. A COD should just be a liveservice with a camping that is released now and then.
