Grinding…in Diablo IV, which I got as a Fathers Day present….and also grinding out the weeklies in D2. Happy Fathers Day!

I just purchased Shredders Revenge last week, and am not salty at all it’s coming to Plus. It’ll be nice to have a fresh player base to co op with!

@PenguinLtd if you think any part of the base game is tough at all it’s probably best you don’t try any of the dlc.

Sucks that you bounced off ds2…it’s my personal fave of the series. But it’s not that good of a game when compared to any of the others.

Back on Destiny 2. Started crossplay progression today and was pleasantly surprised when the platinum popped up immediately.

Also copped Battlesector and Space Hulk Deathwing. For the Emperor!!!!

Any time Kotick or MS are brought up on PushSquare, the pitchforks come out.

Let’s see…
I checked out the D4 server slam and played for about 45 minutes. I don’t want to burn myself out in any way on Diablo before it releases. It’s a good time. Feels like a natural evolution of D2.

I gave Genshin Impact a whirl. Pretty game and it handles nicely. Not for me though.

Honing in on the ending of Midnighr Suns. I haven’t yet gotten the Hulk though so I don’t know how far I am from the end.

I also gave Redfall a whirl. I’m still gathering my thoughts on this one. I think I’ll give it some time before I opine. Arcane doesn’t seem like the sort of dev to want to CDPR itself.

Edit: just rolled credits on Midnight Suns, great game but glad to move on.

Bloodborne is good stuff. I went back and played a bit of the first part recently and was surprised at how easily I stomped all the bosses through Father Gascoigne.
I remember him giving me no shortage of trouble 7-8 years ago.

Still playing Midnight Suns, and likely will be until after the Storm dlc drops. Thus far the only dlc character I find to underwhelming is Morbius.

Also BF 2042. It’s in a good enough state right now I guess. Scratches the fps itch pretty good. It’d be nice if more people would actually play their role though 🤷‍♂️

We need to leave Earth. Soon.

Still plugging away at Midnight Suns

Would like to see Sekiro hit the 20 dollar price point.

I have around 30 hours in Midnight Suns. I really enjoy the combat portions of the game but the story is super meh and all the social interaction parts of the game are kind of lame. Still pretty fun though. Venom is easily my favorite Dlc character so far.

Also bought Papers, Please on my iPhone since I’d never played it before and wanted a little something for lunch hour at work. I was quickly humbled by my lack of detail-orientation. Still really fun though even while I’m terrible at it.

Will probably give the Wolfenstein games another run, because killing Nazis as the terrorbilly is super fun

I have a toon hanging out at Roundtable Hold in between NG and NG+ ready to rock

I’m running through a seasonal character for the first and last time ever in Diablo 3 UEE. It’s a pretty good time, and a good way to catch up on some podcasts I’ve been procrastinating on listening to. I also started up Nier Automata over this past week and put 2 or so hours into it.
I’ve also got Resi 4 Remake. And also Chernobylite. And Metroid Prime Remastered.
It’s gotten to the point that sometimes I’ll sit here and just wonder what I should play and don’t end up playing anything
I also recently booted Battlefield 2042 and tried to get into it…and quickly realized that my 40 year old reflexes are no match for the insanity going on in the FPS space these days. Gonna leave that genre to the lads I think

I got my Elden Ring platinum a couple days ago! Moving on from that game I’ll be playing some Resident Evil 4 Remake, and debating if I want to make a run on all the Soulsborne games throughout the rest of the year.
Also rolled credits on The Quarry. It was pretty alright.

Knew this was gonna be 10’s across the board….the only thing left for me to decide is whether I play this on PS5 where I’ve yet to experience a Resi game or on Series S where I’ve played all the other ones.
Probably ps5, unless I hear from my kid that he wants to play it too

@PenguinLtd No doubt, troubled development and all that.
However….it’s still a Dark Souls game and if judged on its own merits it’s still a really good game. IMO it’s got the best DLC of any of the Souls games, though last time I played through it it was tough finding summons for the boss fights.
If you ever want to run through it I’d be happy to help through any trouble areas!
Oh and that Soul Memory mechanic….yeah that one sucks.

I caved and double-dipped Elden Ring on ps5….worth it. Playing through The Quarry on PS Plus too. It’s pretty alright. I think having played Dark Pictures’ Little Hope and House of Ashes recently might have a bit to do w/ me not being too jazzed about it. Those are better imo.

I think I’m close to finishing up my first and likely only run of The Quarry. It’s pretty alright, but nothing other than the monster makes any of the Supermassive games stand out to me. That said, I still want to play through that latest addition to the Dark Pictures. At the end of the day they’re nice games to play during the workweek for an hour at a time or so.

Also double dipped and bought Elden Ring for ps5. Shadow of the Erdtree hype
